I use this shoe for my cycling classes and my body pump classes. I love the fit and the style. I wear a 6 1/2 to 7 and i ordered these in a 7 and it was a perfect fit. I really like the look so I also wear them on the weekend with jeans or shorts.

I have plantar fasciitis and was afraid I wouldn't be able to continue Zumba without a dance/aerobic-specific shoe. My regular sneakers weren't cutting it because the tread was too aggressive. So I tried the Nike Musicale but it had little to no arch support. After two classes, Ryka Studio D fits perfectly. Great arch support for plantar fasciitis. Very stable, snug shoe, with room in the toe for good balance. Great traction pattern for twisting and I have had several inquiries from my classmates about where I got such a cute shoe. I ordered three pair in consecutive sizes because I read other reviews saying to order a half-size larger. Mine was right on, I'm a 7.5 to an 8 and I stuck with the 8. Thanks Zappos for making it so convenient to get the right size!

These shoes rock! They were comfortable the minute I put them on with no breaking in. Will be getting another pair.

I ordered these for Zumba class to reduce pressure on my knee from pivoting. The pivot point on the ball of the shoes works to accomplish this. I am a regular Ryka wearer, and I needed a half size larger in this model than I normally wear in a Ryka. Fortunately, exchanges are easy at Zappos.

The best and fastest service on the net. I love the shoes good fit and love the color combo. I can wear these shoes long periods with no lower back pain at the end of the day.

I started taking Zumba classes so I was looking for a comfortable pair of shoes that would work with the dance steps. Found these very comfortable and the order arrived very, very fast. Have been a repeat customer ever since.

Okay, so I usually wear a 9. This 10 is too small to wear socks with. Go to an 11? I like the look and feel if I could wear socks. It was my perfect shoe, but 11? I'd swim in those, I'm sure. They run smaller and narrow. No work out socks with these, thin peds maybe.

I wear 9.5. It's not usually a 10. I bought the 10 on the advice above and no way can I wear this with socks. So dilemma, I get an 11 which I fear will be swimming. This would be the perfect shoe in a 10.5.

I have purchased Ryka shoes prior to this and loved them. My girlfriend showed me these online and I had to have them. They are light weight and felt like they were just made for my feet. My 16 year old daughter wants a pair, too. Very pleased to have Ryka on my feet again.

I love this shoe! Very stylish and it looks good with both light and dark workout clothes. The only thing some might not like is how high the top of the back comes up - can rub the ankle a bit if you\'re wearing super low socks. I got used to it and find them comfortable. I didn\'t pay any shipping upgrade but still got the shoes in two days!

These are great shoes for a narrow-footed girl doing aerobics. The toe box is roomy but it nips in nicely around the arch for support. The padded forefoot is cushiony and helps prevent me from rolling my foot in. They are lightweight also. I will purchase again.

Very comfortable and great for aerobic type classes. I got them for a Zumba class and they are great. I typically have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable due to my flat feet but these are probably the best I've found yet.

The shoes have worked out well for my Zumba classes. I particularly like the wider shoe box which fits comfortably and the tread is just enough for sliding ability but not too slippery. Also, the ability to order 2 different sizes and return 1 without any shipping charges was wonderful! Thanks for the great customer service.

Great for Zumba. Comfortable, easy to pivot and provide enough support. I ordered 1/2 size larger and they are a little too large, but OK with thicker socks.

Love the new lighter color of the Ryka Studio D. So did everyone else in Jazzercise! Order came very quickly.

Grey shoes awesome, black shoes not so good! Grey shoes are nice fabric blend, very flexible, need no breaking in, awesome for Jazzercise! Black are plastic! Not nearly as comfortable, and hot. 5 stars all around for gray, 2 stars for black.

I have three other dance sneakers that I alternate for Zumba (three times a week), but I don't want to use them anymore. These shoes rock! They have fantastic cushioning and are super comfy -- no sore feet after high impact one hour Zumba classes. The only downside is that they do not twist on the ball of my foot quite as well as my spilt sole dance sneakers.

These are extraordinary shoes for Zumba!! I ordered one size up as the other reviews suggested and they are a good fit for me. I did Zumba for 4 months in walking\/running shoes and although they were supportive, they are not meant for the dancing flexing moves that are the heart of Zumba movement. There was very little break in time, my foot feels stable, but not constricted, they are very light, a decent arch. I feel like I have the proper support and the proper flexibility to move with confidence. Turning and twisting movements are easier to do because of the configuration of the sole, especially on the ball of your foot. I would recommend a shoe horn to put these on, especially if you have a high arch. The laces go high on your foot, and if you just mash your foot in time after time, you will lose the stability in the heel. Great shoes, terrific service!!

This is my first time owning a pair of Rykas. I love these shoes. I bought them for a Zumba class, but instead wore them biking. They are extremely comfortable, true to size and have a great look! I wanted a shoe that was streamlined in style, had a color that blended well with any casual or fitness outfit and had support through the arches. I plan to wear these shoes for walking tours, bike-trail riding and eventually a Zumba class.

This is the first time I've tried Ryka brand and my first Zappos purchase. My Jazzercise instructor recommended the Studio Flex shoe. I ordered that along with the Ryka Sync and Studio D. Got size 8 for all; usually I wear 7.5. The Studio Flex felt too big while the Sync and Studio D were fine. I had a hard time deciding between Studio D and Sync - they both felt good, but in different ways. I do need to wear thick socks to make them snug enough. I liked the brocade look of Sync a lot. But in the end I decided to save money and take the Studio D. I am used to wearing prescribed orthotics, but they don't fit in this shoe (nor in most shoes, which is a real problem). So Jazzercising in them feels really different. But so far, so good. They are light and have good cushioning. I'm very happy with Zappos' ease of ordering, return, and free shipping both ways.

Got these shoes about 4 months ago to use for Nia. I know, suppose to be bare foot but I have issue with that. These are perfect - enough support/flexibility for Zumba (do that to but not as much as Nia) and the flex you need for Nia. Two other ladies in my Nia class got these shoe too (I'm not the only one with foot issues).
