I bought these specifically because I read how great they were for Zumba. My knees don't hurt anymore! The pivot point is perfect for Zumba's pivots and turns. I did find that they slipped on my heel a little at first, but with the right socks, it's not a problem at all. I bought a 1/2 size larger than I usually do because I read the recommendations on reviews. If I had gotten my normal size, I wouldn't have had the heel slipping, but the toe would've been too tight. I really like and recommend these shoes for Zumba or other types of aerobic dance. It doesn't hurt that they look nice too!

Over-all this is a great shoe for anything; walking, weight lifting, aerobics, zumba. I bought them for zumba, but found I liked them in any kind of class. They are a very comfortable fit, have great stability, support and movability. Could be a bit cuter in style, but that's not my main concern. Most zumba shoes are not supportive enough, but these fit the bill, and they allow you to turn easily(no sticking to the floor). I recommend this highly.

A good-lookiong shoe and seemed to fit fine except when I tried to walk in it, my heel slipped out which meant I could not use it. A pity.

Unfortunately am going with the few that say: would not recommend. I bought these for Zumba after reading all the glowing reviews. I received them yesterday and tried them on, they felt so light and wonderful. Then I put on my Zumba DVD and half way through it, I couldn't move anymore. My arch was killing me. These shoes are light and cute but have very little arch support esp. for people with flat feet like myself. :( That I've to return them, guess it's back to square one! on a side note: they fit true to size, I ordered my normal size 10!

Don't buy these shoes; they're cheaply made; strap that holds the laces in place broke the first time I tried them on. The forefoot does not have superior cushioning contrary to the product description. My feet were hurting the 2nd week after I started wearing them and I went back to my Asics. But my friends swear by their Rykas of different design so I will give those a try.

This is a great Zumba shoe. At first, the shoe felt stiff and I worried that it would not be comfortable. After 3-4 dance classes, the shoe is comfortable. The reason I gave the shoe a 4 out of 5 for comfort is that it is not one that I would wear every day, all day for comfort but that's not why I bought it. I bought it because it's a "skimmer" type tennis shoe that is much needed for Zumba where one moves better with less bulk around the foot.

This is my 3rd pair of this exact shoe! I love it for high impact aerobic dance and Jazzercise. It fits my foot like a glove, is not bulky, is sturdy, holds up well with wear and tear over time, offers great traction and support. I have tried other styles and brands in the past, but now when I need a new pair I re-order this shoe!

Finally got it right when I purchased these Ryka's for Zumba. Fit was great...no break in period required. Great right out of the box. After many trial and error with other brands.....these fit the best.

Bought these for Dance Trance class (fitness-hip hop) and love them! Very comfortable even for just walking around in and they work great in the studio.

A very, very comfortable shoe for activewear. Lightweight. (Just took some getting used to as I have always worn white aerobic shoes before.) So glad Rykas come in real size now. Perfect Jazzercise shoe. Excellent fit for my often hard-to-fit foot.

Great shoe! Love them. Wear to gym for treadmill and various weightlifting, etc. No breaking-in required. Look so cool I wear them out occasionally. Would love to buy a second pair, but can't afford right now. Love Zappos too and get all my shoes here (forget Nordstrom's and Macy's!).

Great shoes! Good for a slightly wide foot as they aren't constricted on the sides and you can open up the laces as much as needed. They don't have quite as much support as I'm used to, but they're great for aerobic dance!

This shoe is great for exercise - and, I've also worn it for taking walks. I took the advice of others and ordered size 8 rather than my usual 7.5, and the size feels just right.

I was on a quest for good Zumba shoes, and I am so glad that I found these! I also tried the Nike Musique IV and the Bloch. The Ryka Studio D were definitely the best! They are comfortable and cushiony, and the soles provide the perfect combination of traction to keep you standing and mobility to do the Zumba moves! I wanted the black ones but could not find my size (9), so I went with the white ones. They are not bad looking, and I like the more breathable mesh material (the black ones are more leather-like). I tried both the 9½ and the 9 and definitely preferred the 9. They were snug, but that was good because my feet didn't slide inside the shoe during class. The 9½ were too big and my feet slid a lot. So, in my opinion, these shoes are true to size.

I love these shoes! Lightweight and they keep your feet cool. You're able to move smoothly and turn without your feet sticking to the floor. I use them for Israeli dancing and they give me great support while allowing me to move with flexibility. Did I mention that I love these shoes?

I was looking for a good shoe to wear for Zumba so I ordered the Ryka studio D and the Nike Misque. The Ryka was more comfortable and breathable. I love this shoe for Zumba because you can pivot and move easily in it. It Makes Zumba more fun!

I'm enjoying the shoes for Zumba--good support and very lightweight. I would have ordered 1/2 size bigger if I'd known that they run small. It would have given my toes a little more wiggle room.

I purchased these shoes after having sore knees from Zumba. I hate shoe shopping, but found the return policy a no-lose with Zappos. I read all the reviews on the Rykas, and found comments from knee problems to what size to order extremely helpful. These shoes are awesome! My knees are 100% better since there is very little tread on the shoes to allow more movement with Zumba. I also recommend going 1/2 size up from normal. I plan on buying a second pair for everyday use. I may never shop in a store again! Extremely pleased with Zappos.

I absolutely love my Ryka Studio D shoes. I have gotten lots of complements on them in my kickboxing and Zumba classes. Zappos shipped promptly and the shoes run true to size.

These shoes are super cute and very comfortable. I think the really amazing thing is they can also pivot easily on carpet. So, when I'm doing my exercise videos at home, I don't have to worry about twisting my ankle!

My first pair of 'dance' shoes and I am very pleased. Ordering 1/2 size larger was a good tip. I wear them for Zumba on carpet and they have relieved some of the knee pains I was experiencing.

I got these to wear at Zumba and they are very comfortable. I love the Ryka brand anyway and was happy to see they had exactly what I wanted. This was a mid-priced shoe (there is a more expensive Ryka dance shoe) and I am pleased with my purchase.

I absolutely love these shoes! I was looking for better shoes for my Jazzercise classes. My knees had been hurting, and my running shoes were partly to blame. I have owned and liked Rykas before but never had dance shoes. These shoe are so lightweight, and they felt strange at first, especially in comparison to my running shoes. They have just the right amount of grab on the wooden dance floor, and they easily let me slide and sachez. I could not be happier! I wear between 8 and 8½ narrow in regular shoes and ordered 8½ in these. The fit is great!
