These Skechers are the most durable Skechers we have purchased. My son loves the easy velcro straps for when he has to run out the door for playtime with his friends. We have purchased several types of Skechers and these are super durable to rough play and comfortable too. My son has a slightly wider toe area and these are slightly larger in the toe box. We got the beige and red and the orange and brown, these two colors match every color in the closet. Oh and there is no worries about the dirt the texture is great for just wiping clean. The mother cannot stand any dirt stains on shoes. Trust me you will love these shoes.

Any Skechers. We also just got some Circa skate shoes, they rock too.

Shoe survival with 3 1/2 yo boys -
These appear to be about as durable as any shoes made for kids. My 3 1/2 year old boys haven't been able to even start to wear them out yet, after a few weeks of wear. And, I have discovered you can wash them in the washing machine inside a laundry bag, air dry them, and they come out just fine!

Skechers in my opinion are the best shoes for youth boys. I have tried other brands and they fall apart quickly. Skechers seem to hold up the longest. These are the most comfortable to my son and he likes the quickness of the velcro.

The shoes look great and much better than what I expected. The straps make it much easier to put on and go, especially for an energetic boy. I don't have to worry about untied shoe laces anymore. They can be casual, sporty or for play- a very versatile shoe.

Cool shoe - great value.
My son loves these shoes. This was our second order after he outgrew the first pair. They fit well and have good support, and the straps are easy on and off. He has tried "Airators" by Skechers, but says the pump in the footbed (which supposedly pumps air in and out when walking to cool the shoe), makes his feet feel hot instead. He likes these much better. And as always, the shipping was lightening fast- ordered one day and received the next.

This is the second pair I have purchased for my son and he loves them. They are comfortable from the first day wear and the velcro lasts the life of the shoe. They are very nice looking shoes. They continue to look good months after wearing. They lasted about 9 months but when they started coming apart they totally feel apart in like a week. My son goes thru shoes rather quickly. These shoes are sturdy and hold up to the wear and tear that a 6 year old boy can put them thru! My only reservation about Skechers is they consistently feel narrow, and therefore, we always order half a size up.

Excellent for my 8 year old - My son is very hard on his clothes and especially on his shoes. I have had great success with Skechers in the past for him and these look very promising as well. Skechers may be a little heavier than other brands and the sole is sometimes stiffer, but, I have found that they last the whole school year. The velcro on these may wear out before the end of the year, but, they are reasonably priced, he likes the way they look and feel, so I'm happy.

This is the second time I've bought these shoes for my 8 yr old son--the last pair are outgrown and still look good enough to give to a second hand store. The soles are not worn out as were the last pair of "designer" sneakers he had, nor did he manage to puncture a hole in the shoe like the LL. beanies he had. And most "im-portant," he thinks they are "cool."
