My "dress" Birkies! I love the way this shoe fits! It has a slightly higher arch and is slightly more narrow than my Arizonas. I find that I do not get fatigued walking and standing, and it has a "dressier" appearance than the Arizonas. I love them both, but this is my favorite, and my definite choice if I am going to be on my feet for an extended period of time.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. They are lightweight and comfortable and look great with dress pants or jeans. I tend to wear thicker socks with these shoes, although you can wear thin socks. There is a lot of arch support which may take some getting used to. They're great for wearing around the house or for walking around town. I love these shoes and plan on always having a pair!

True fit - I ordered the narrow even though I thought how could this fit if I took a medium but it is true to size. Great service too.

Birkenstock Boston - I own the Birkenstock Boston in brown and recently bought it in black. The brown ones are extremely comfortable but the new black ones are not comfortable at all. The footbed does not fit my foot well.

First time Birkenstock owner - I love my new Birkenstock Bostons. The shoe is made of top quality leather. It is very comfortable. The fit was true to size. Comfortable and Stylish! I love these shoes! I used to think Birks were ugly but once I got my pair, I realized they are the best shoes in the world! I love the way the shoe contours to my feet and makes them feel comfortable at all times. One thing a person may want to note is BUY A SIZE SMALLER! I read a review saying to do so and I did not, even though now I realized that I should have.

Great alternative to flip-flops - Looks good, is comfortable, and doesn't annoy my mom the way wearing flip-flops in fall does!

Great with Socks - The Birkenstock Boston is a very comfortable shoe. I typically wear a 10 to 10 & 1/2 medium width shoe. I purchased the Boston in a 41 narrow and found it to be a little too wide for my feet. This was fine with me because I had planned to wear it with heavy-knit socks. With heavy-knit socks, the fit is perfect.

Birkenstock Boston - This is a long-time favorite slip-on shoe. I prefer the regular leather, not Nubuck. I buy this shoe again, year after year.

Comfortable Shoes - Not the best looking shoe, but definitely the most comfortable shoe. I waited a long time to purchase this shoe because I was unsure if I would like the way they looked once I received them. I'm really glad I did because the comfort more than makes up for any appearance shortcomings.

At last... I have found a shoe that doesn't leave me dreading getting out of bed in the morning. I have Plantar Fasciitis in my left foot and have worn an arch support insert for the last 7-8 months and it was really ineffective. The insert provided some support but it’s nothing compared to the Birkenstock’s that I just bought this weekend. I’ll only keep a pair of black dress shoes for formal occasions but from now on I’ll only be wearing Birkenstocks. I can’t believe that it took me so long to find this brand. My feet were uncomfortable the first couple days but it was nothing compared to the pain of getting out of bed in the morning before. I find myself looking for a reason to walk somewhere now. The difference can be felt everywhere, in my posture, in my legs and definitely my feet. What a pair of miracle shoes!

My Boston Birk Purchase - I LOVE the look of the Boston Birk. Since I wear Birks almost exclusively, I knew the fit would be perfect--and it is! The reason I wear Birks is because they are SOOOOOOO comfortable. Lastly, I purchase from Zappos because their customer service is A-#1! They are quick to ship and offer very competitive prices.

Very comfortable. Great for situations where closed toe shoes are more appropriate. You should consider getting a size larger than your usual Birkenstock size (especially if you have long toes) because there is not a lot of extra room in the toe.

Wonderful shoe! Have lots in many colors. Unfortunately this anemaone color is more of a purple than the red that is shown. Returning. Glad returns are so easy on zappos. If I can ever find a Boston clog in a true red I will be thrilled!

Just not what I remembered. These were very uncomfortable right out of the box. I lived in these years ago and know they took some break in time, but I just couldn't bear it! I have found so many other super comfy shoes out there I sent these back. Sorry, purple Boston’s, I wanted to love you!!

I don't like these shoes. They are not that attractive, when I tried on my cousins they were really wide. The arch support is insufficient for my wide arch foot.
