For flat and wide feet - These shoes are a mixed blessing because the built-in arch feels very high to my flat feet which crave something to hold them up, but at the end of the day it feels good to get out of them. I also like the feeling that my heel is seated low in them compared to other shoe styles. The foot bed is rather hard and may not be for everybody. The style is informal and looks well with slacks; the felted top is an unusual material for a shoe in my opinion.

They were just HUGE on my feet and I have bought other Birkenstocks before - and oh so ugly - I ordered the antique coconut nubuck ones and they indeed did look like a coconut at the end of my foot....back they go!

I'm a huge fan of Birkensock, I wear their sandals all summer long. So I decided to try these out for cooler fall temps. They are every bit as comfy as their sandals right out of the box, and I'm sure will be my go-to shoes this fall. Not the most feminine shoe on the market! But they're cute in their own way...and comfortable beyond words. Thanks Zappos for the amazing service, as always!

These are great shoes! I had to retire my other pair after over 10 years. I am standing all day at my job in hospitals and these are the only shoes that I will wear. My feet and back never hurt! They are a great value on sale, too! This color is perfect, like a saddle brown, distressed, so I know they will wear well! I order Birks half a size smaller.

I've seen lots of reviews about the shoes being to big, but for me they were perfect. I wear a 9/9.5 wide with, so I ordered the 40 Regular width and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable, even though they aren't broken in yet--I can't imagine how comfortable they'll feel when they are broken in. Wow, talk about fast delivery. Ordered at midnight Friday night and they showed up Monday morning!

This medium magenta (Anemone Rio Nubuck) is a perfect color to accessorize clothing of a similar shade. I've worn Birks for more than 35 years, and they are my shoe of choice for comfort.

Love these shoes. They are a little stiff when new, but soften up after wearing a bit. Would order them again.

love these! cute color and so comfortable! last time i owned a pair of these (in college), the only colors were boring taupe and black - i'm so glad i stumbled upon these at zappos! 1st time i wore them, a co-worker ordered a pair for her sister for Christmas!

The shoes arrived in 2-3 days, right on time. Sizing turned out to be fine. I wear 7 1/2 woman's, and I ordered the corresponding Birkenstock size, just to be sure on length. Turned out perfect--I just tightened the strap to make the shoes fit a little tighter. Very pleased with the product and Zappos service.

The Birkenstock Boston Nubuck in Coconut is awesome footwear. The arch support and heel cup help my feet heel from plantar fasciitis. I used to own a pair of Birkenstock sandals and missed the signature toe bar but I wore them so often I wore out the outer sole. This is an excellent purchase for anyone on the fence. I'm a size 7 and although the 38 is a bit big, the toe bar and midweight wool socks make up for the extra room. Thanks Zappos for offering high quality footwear!

I owned a pair of Birkenstock sandals and when they finally wore out I never replaced them until I developed plantar fasciitis and knew to resume wearing Birkenstock. This time I opted for the Boston clog and was extremely pleased with the instant comfort when I pulled it out of the box and walked around the house (in my new SmartWool lightweight socks from Zappos). I love the toe bar and the sculpted insole; it gives my legs and my feet a great workout.The description says to order a size smaller and though I could have, the 38 fits me nicely (I wear size 7). The Antique Coconut Nubuck wears well with all my business casual slacks. VIPZappos shipping can't be beat and allowed me to only miss one day of work due to my foot issue. Love my Birks - I have worn Birks since I was in JR High a long long time ago. They are the best shoe-sandal out there for sore tired feet. They do take getting used to. They work your toes and shins. Once that has passed your feet will love you forever.

I wear Birkenstocks exclusively; from clogs, sandals and shoes. Pricey, but worth it. I have fallen arches and this is the only brand that relieves my foot pain.

I love Birkis - I ordered this shoe in a 37 because that's what the manufacturer suggested for my 6-6 & 1/2 sized foot... I checked this site and many others to make sure it was correct, but, alas, when I received it, it was HUGE! I ended up going to a Birkenstock store in the area and had my foot measured and it turned out I needed a 36 narrow. I love them though! I would go a size smaller if you buy them!

Love my new Birks - My old Birkenstocks always felt too wide; (especially after I lost 50+ lbs) I didn't even know Birks came in a narrow width! I ordered the size I have worn for 15 or so years, except in narrow, and I love them!! I got my first Birks when I was diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis, and they have done wonders. I am an X-Ray Tech, and spend lots of time on my feet.

Great shoe! I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and Birkenstocks are the only thing that releive my heel pain. These are a nice winter addition to my growing collection. Thank you Zapppos for excellent customer service yet again and for carrying my hard to find size 35!

Fabulous! I wear a size 9-9.5 ordinarily. I have a medium width foot. I always order a size 40R in Birkenstocks and the Boston clog is no exception. They fit fabulous and look great. Birkenstocks aren't for everyone. Fashionistas may feel they look like duck feet. For me, they are super cool and don't look like you are trying to be cool. Best of all, they feel great! Zappos is the absolute best place to order any style shoe. Excellent customer service. VERY fast shipping. Thanks so much!!

Very Nice Shoe - Bought these for my daughter. She loves the fit and feel for the show. They wear very well. We went with a darker color to reduce potential for showing wear.

Birkenstock - The shoe is great! I bought them for my wife and she loves them. I also got them extremely fast for this time of year.

These were purchased for my son - he found them very comfortable - he has a wide foot - the regular width was a good match but if your foot is medium or narrow I would suggest going with the narrow... and the sizing is on the generous side...almost like slippers as far as comfort - A GREAT CHOICE!!

Love this pair of Birks - I usually wear the sandals, but I wanted a pair of the clogs for Xmas, my Mom ordered them, they are great. At first I didn’t like the black that she picked, but after wearing them, they look great!! They just needed to break in to get the right look. Great Shoes.
