I thought that this shoe was the same as one I had bought before - Clarks Bendables - but it actually is bulkier and the fit is bigger...I am keeping the brown pair as it is still a good shoe, just don't want 2 bulky shoes.

Nice shoe but difficult for me to get on without a shoe horn, OK for others without hand problems.

Very rarely does a 9M not fit me. Normally this type of shoe slips out at the heel. But not this one. I have bought Merrell shoes for years. The sizing seems to be changing lately and my calves are hurting, so I needed to try a different brand. These fit and aren't tight across the instep. Will update later.

The shoe seems well made and is overall comfortable, but there is a very tight elastic band across the top of the foot which I hope will loosen over time. It is so tight that it left impression marks on the top of my foot despite the fact that I wore socks. The rough texture of this band would make wearing the shoe without socks very uncomfortable, at least for me.

Bought this as an all-purpose casual shoe. I have very narrow feet, but these seem to fit pretty well even when I wear light hosiery. Some minor slipping in the heel, but all-in-all a very comfortable walking shoe.

These fit fine, but I have flexible ankles that turn easily and since I want these for all purpose walking, I don't think the founded heel edge offers enough stability.

I normally wear an 8N in shoes and use custom orthotics. Based on previous reviews, I decided to try both the 8N and the 8M and compare. Basically, the 8M was too wide for my feet. The toe box felt great (espec for my bunion and rigid big toe), but the shoes slipped off my heels, even with a heel pad and my custom orthotic. The 8N was too cramped - the toe box was not wide enough, although the heel fit well. However, the shoe was very tight across the top and really pinched my feet, especially with my orthotics. I tried taking out the insoles and just using my orthotics, but the shoes squeaked horribly and the footbed was uncomfortable. I'm sending both pairs back and still looking for my "goldilocks" shoes that fit "just right".

I have a very large foot so couldn't get a narrow in my size. I used an arch support insert to help it fit better. I find it attractive and very comfortable. Would have liked a snug fit across arch to keep heel from sliding, but the insert helps.

I ordered these because I have them in black and the first pair I ordered are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, with ample room in the front for my hammertoes. Because I love my first pair I wanted to get another pair in case this style was discontinued. However, I was so disappointed that the 2nd pair was not as comfortable in the toe area, despite being the same size. I will be returning the 2nd pair but may order a 3rd pair (thanks, Zappos!), hoping that the problem with the 2nd pair is just an exception.

These shoes have always fit me well and it's great when they're on sale.

Looking for a jean shoe, wanted to like these. Very comfy, as soon as I put them on. Wasn't sold on the styling, too much stitching and was worried the button would fall off in time and then what? So back they go and I continue to search!

Well-made, comfortable, nice brown color, but decided I'm tired of the clunky toe in the Unstructured line so am returning these. Of course, the plus side of this line is that the narrows hug my heel nicely while still giving me enough room across the ball of the foot. Interestingly, I also bought the Clark's Wave Trek and needed a medium in those, which worked well in both the heel and toe. You just never know.

I have difficult feet to fit. Zappos has my size and width. Whenever I am in doubt I order two pairs and send one back at no charge! Delivery is next day and returns can be made up to a year at no charge. Why would I shop anywhere else? I always tell all my friends about Zappos! It does not get any easier!

Love the fit! The only negative is that the tan lining shows a bit at the top of the shoe...not attractive in my opinion.

Loved the styling and stitching details. Looks great with jeans. Quality is topnotch. The only drawback is that I found them a little on the narrow side. I always wear a 2aa in most brands and this one just fits tight. Hopefully it will loosen as I wear them.

These felt good right away. They were fine after a full day of on-my-feet work. There is a bit of the decorative stitching I could feel on the inside that can irritate.

I have, over the last 6 years, owned 4 pairs of this style. Wore out the first pair of Burgundy(I'm very fussy about shoes looking good), bought a 2nd pair when on sale to replace the first and now Ox-blood (Burgundy) is the biggest color for this fall (2012). Also, needed a pair of brown shoes and looked and looked, then ended up with un.loop in dark brown. I think these are the best shoes, Clarks are always my first choice when looking for new shoes. I think the biggest drawback is that they are so very much more expensive (for the same shoe); I wait for sales and then I stock up.

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. They are bendable too! The one downfall is I cannot wear socks with them. I have to wear nylons: that is the only reason I rate it 4 stars.

After searching for quite some time for a good walking shoe to go with jeans and khakis I decided to give this shoe a try. (I ordered it in black.) I had actually ordered 3 different pairs so I could pick the lesser of the evil. I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable but these fit the bill. Even after running through the airport a few days ago in flats which put blisters on my heels I can still wear these comfortably. I know I am going to love these and think the more I wear them the more comfy they will become. I've been running around the house in them all morning and so far so good. The padding in this shoe is very nice. I would say they run pretty narrow though. That works for me but probably won't for a lot of other people. As for the length, I think it's perfect and true to my size 7 feet. I read where someone didn't think these were nice looking shoes but I personally think they are really cute on. I'm going to wear these for a few days to make sure I love them as much as I do now and if so, I'm coming back to order the brown pair. One other thing I might mention is that I ordered another pair of Clarks that are very similar to this. The thing I liked about this pair is that the back of the shoe comes up a little higher on my heel than the others so I hopefully won't get blisters like I do on so many lower backed shoes. Plus, there is a lot more padding on the back of the heel area that helps a lot too. I would definitely recommend these shoes if you need a comfy casual shoe that could be worn for work or play.

These are extremely comfortable, lightweight, roomy (I wear them with socks), and provide great arch support. I bought them for a trip to Europe and they were great for walking. My only complaint is that the extra padding around the heel (which sounds comfortable) actually rubs my foot and gives me blisters. Hopefully this will improve with more wear.

I have sensitive feet, the backs of my heels were getting blistered on the first day I wore these shoes -- not necessarily a fault of these particular shoes, this happens to me for many pairs of shoes. I added back of heel pads and arch pads and now my feet are loving these shoes. They are lightweight and easy to walk in. I walk at least 1.5 miles in them a day (that's the round trip to the bus stop from home).

Very comfortable walking shoe. Supple leather needed no break-in period. Walked all day through the streets of Boston on the second day I wore these shoes. Arch support would make these shoes 5 star!

These are such cute shoes, but the M width was fine in the toe area, but too wide through the vamp and heel. They gapped really bad. Had to return them.

I have the exact shoe in brown, and it fits like a dream. The black is fitting a little larger, and the heel makes a creaking noise. Still a cute shoe but considering sending it back.

Very comfortable. Suitable for NYC marathon walks New Yorkers are used to. Had to adhere a little moleskin inside the back of the shoe to keep the slight rubbing from scratching my foot.
