Sizing is not right, these shoes run short and narrow. I ordered these shoes in a 10 Medium. The first time I tried them on was at night and my feet were swollen. I couldn’t get the shoe on either foot. My right foot is a 10 and my left is a little smaller, possibly even a half size smaller. I have narrow heels and wide front of foot and toes. From reading the reviews I thought these would be great shoes for my wedge shaped feet. Unfortunately, they only come in shoe sized from size 10-11, 10 1/2, and I don’t want to go up to a size 11. The quality seemed great, if they had fit correctly with room for thin socks I would have happily kept them. If they had 10 1/2 I would have tried that. I really wanted the shoes to fit. I’m disappointed with the Clarks brand, there isn’t any consistency with the sizes. It’s really a shame because they were perfect other than that. I wanted those shoes to work but returned them for a refund. I feel like going up to an 11 is not the answer.

I am 38 and the shoe made me look my grandmother but, it is a really comfortable shoe. Of course I bought this shoe 3 years ago from the Clark store. I was on my feet for 8 hours a day or longer. If this shoe is not comfortable then something is wrong with the shoe. I recently gave them to my sister the shoes because, she is all about recycling and, shopping at thrift stores. I hope it makes her happy.

I was really looking forward to this shoe based on the great reviews, however I was disappointed that it was overall tight, especially in the toe box. I struggled to take it off. I always wear Clarks in size 11M, but this shoe was not for me.

I bought the brown Un.loop almost 2 years ago mainly for European trips. I wanted something other than athletic type shoes that would be comfortable walking over cobblestones. Many have commented on the (lack of) style, but these shoes have performed as expected. I have taken them on 2 month long trips abroad, have walked miles in them (averaging 15,000 steps daily), and they have proven to be very comfortable. And since these shoes are still available, I'm ordering another brown pair because there aren't that many shoes/brands with padded soles that come in W width. Carol

Beautiful shoe and very comfortable, but it is too wide even in a Narrow! My foot is very narrow and hard to fit.I would recommend this shoe for someone with average feet! :) Zappos has the best service on the planet!

I like the shoes a lot and plan on keeping them. However, I have a high arch which makes the band (a tension band that crosses the top of the foot, not seen but hidden under the leather) somewhat tight across the top of my foot, not bad enough for me to consider sending them back. I think these shoes will be great after just a little bit of wear.It would be a perfect 5 stars if the band across the top of the foot had been adjustable.

While I don't love the style or the button, I love how these shoes feel. The arch support is very good, I wouldn't hike in them, but for shopping or moderate walks they are just fine. And felt great right out of the box.

These shoes felt comfortable from the first time I put them on. The leather is so soft! I have to wear custom orthotics and they fit fine in these shoes; however, there is enough support and definitely a level of comfort that allows me to wear them without the orthotics if it is only for a couple of hours. They are also very light weight. I have other shoes I have purchased that are also extremely comfortable (that's my thing) but those are so heavy. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they are not very attractive compared to other options in the "comfort" category. I might not have noticed that as much had I not purchased two different styles in order to decide which I wanted. I initially chose the other pair but these were so comfortable that I was able to give myself permission to keep these as well. I think you will like them once you try them on. I wear them with jeans.

I bought a pair of this exact style several years ago. Same size and style now is a little too wide, and too long!

First of all, I should have noticed they had a back...I love slide in's. They fit very well, but I didn't like the look of them on my feet. They look long and big and too much like the Buster Browns my mother made me wear as a child. Ugly is the word for these shoes.

I've been purchasing Clarks' loafer type shoes for a few years now. My feet are wide with bunions (and worse a Morton's neuroma). I need a high quality, sturdy, wide toe box fit. Some Clarks loafers work, some don't. The Un.loop, although not my favorite, fits my needs (and foot!). I normally order a 9.5 W, but with this shoe I found the 10 W a better fit. It's an attractive shoe that I wear to the office. Looks great with jeans and slacks. You can replace the bottom inside cushion with orthotics. I'm starting to worry that the Clarks quality is being compromised by mass production... I hope that's not. In any case, I'd recommend you give the Un.loop a try. It's one of their best shoes and Zappos is great with free returns.

I have tried several shoes for my achy feet. Merrell is my usual go to but these work! They are almost as comfortable as my tennis shoes with a cushy insole and great support.

This one's a keeper! I have narrow feet with a very narrow heel, and this was the first comfortable shoe that I have found in this style. It was not perfect right out of the box, but a heel pad and a ball pad helped fill out the space in the shoe a little better for my feet (I bought them in a 10 Narrow). The toe box is comfortable and my pinky toe is not rubbing. And the heel is not slipping. This is going to be a work shoe for me, so I am hoping to be able to stand and walk in this shoe for long periods of time.

I am enjoying these. It is difficult for me to find a shoe that is comfortable for my feet. I have worn them with and with out socks and nice either way. Plenty of room for my toes. I would buy them again. The only negative is the lining shoes around the top of the shoe. If it were the same color of the shoe it wouldn't be a problem. But it' lighter.

Style is a little more casual than I would like, but I have a wide foot and these are actually wide enough. Not 100% sure about the comfort though. Maybe they just need a little time to "break in".

These clarks are comfortable but there isn't enough support to wear them all day. These Clarks run true to size.

While I generally liked the looks of this, you can see the tan lining at the edge of the black shoe opening - so you get a little tan stripe between your black shoes and black socks.

Shoes are good support and comfortable with no break in period. The shoes are narrow and I waited to wear socks so I have a wide width. Very pleased with the shoes.

These shoes are very comfortable. My foot is a bit on the narrower side and there is a little bit more room in the medium size than I would like but with thick socks they are perfect.

Very nice shoes - but definitely do not have enough padding in them to walk to and from work on Chicago sidewalks to the Ogilvie train station. For inside the office and short distances, they are perfect. Love that they come in wide width.

Always thinking that mail-order shoes would be like bobbing for apples. Not likely to get a good one. These Clarks Un Loops are comfortable and sporty. True to size -- I would buy Clarks again.

Oh, how I loved this shoe. Unfortunately the heel is too wide and when I took a step it pulled my sock down. It does feel like butter but there is a soft roll at the top of the heel and I think the only way I could wear it would be bare foot. But I do love the shoe.

I bought these shoes to wear on a trip to Europe and am writing this review from there. I have a black pair that I wore out the bottom sole on so needed replacements for my trip. After trying several pairs, I got these in brown. Unfortunately, I will have to figure out how to get Zappos to send me replacements when I get home because after wearing for a couple of hours, I found a seam inside the left shoe was not sewn properly and caused a big rubbed spot on my foot. If your feet swell a lot, you might not like this style because you cannot untie them. They run narrow on me so I ordered a wide width. My old ones were so comfortable. I think I just got a pair with bad quality control. Give them a try..but make sure to check inside careful! Expect the composite soles to go hard and slippery on wet surfaces and begin to crumble before you ever wear out the uppers!

I ordered my regular size and width. Although the size was fine, the width was a little narrow. I exchanged the shoes for a wider width and the shoes now fit comfortably.

I ordered 9.5 N. It was super comfortable without socks, but felt very tight with even a light trouser sock. No way would my orthotics fit in the shoe. I exchanged for 9.5 M. It's comfortable through the toes; too loose at the heel. I bought a heavier sock and that seems to help. The shoe still won't accept the orthotics very well. I've worn them all day, so they're mine to adjust to.
