I'll just echo what others have said. This shoe runs very small. I wear a 14 (regardless of style) and wasn't able to even get my foot into this shoe.

Good looking shoe with excellent cushioning. The shoe was a full size too long, yet fit very snug around the rest of my foot. Also found these shoes to weigh more than typical.

These shoes are extremely narrow and run a full size smaller than normal. If you are a 15, get the 16 W(EE), otherwise you'll end up returning it twice before getting it right. They are a great looking shoe which is tough to find for big foots like me.

I've had a pair of JM dress shoes for years. These are nicely made, but have a cushioned insole that, combined with the taper at the toe, pushes the top my toes into the top of the shoe whenever the foot isn't pressing down. Uncomfortable.

It was fine until last week when it just came apart from one side. I probably have worn this shoe about 20 times since I owned it and mostly for business meetings/parties. I'm now very skeptical about the quality on J&M shoes.

I always buy J&M shoes. They have been my favorite shoe company for years now. However, this one was a huge disappointment. They look sharp and felt really comfortable the first two wears. I've now worn them 4/5 time total in 4 months and the sole is crumpled on the right shoe. I've tried fixing it but it is just stuck like that and it is so uncomfortable to walk with it. I must have got a lemon, but first time I've been disappointed in this companies shoes.

A gorgeous shoe, but it was a full size too small. I have a 16 size foot, and it did not fit in a 16 sized shoe. Disappointed to say the least as I cannot size up. Seems to run small so be careful. This could be just the huge foot that I have, but I don't usually have this problem with any other shoe. If anything, I have to take a size down.

Not sure why there is such a difference in experience. I read reviews that said they were a full size bigger and that didn't bother me. Size 14 I generally don't have an issue with shoes being too large. I really can't comment on the arch support because I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. Even took my socks off to try to slip my foot in. Had to return them.

I have had these shoes for about two years now, and I have to say as comfortable as they are, I would not recommend them. As another reviewer posted they become and remain very slick after a month or two of wear, so much so I am surprised that I never fully wiped out or injured myself, they were that bad. With age they became somewhat less slick but I have now split the soles.

Save your money. After about a few months the leather had broken in to the point where the whole shoe was as flexible as fabric. I am retiring a different pair of Johnston & Murphy that lasted me six years and still wear two or three times a week, but this model made me lose faith in the brand. Go with a brand that is not pretending to be something it is not. I have two cheaper Fratelli shoes that are much better than these in every regard.
