I have been looking for a pair of boots for several years. I specifically wanted a nice looking pair with a low heel I have bad knees and hoped to find one that was good for cold, rainy weather in Seattle. Over 2 years, I've ordered many pair and sent back many pair. The minute I put these on, it was bliss. I have narrow feet, but over the years they have gotten a bit wider. Most narrow shoes are too narrow and most mediums are too wide. These were just perfect. I've worn them over and over. I love them. If you waver between sizes like I do, order the larger size.

This is absolutely a gorgeous boot! It's a little expensive, but worth the price. They were so comfortable I bought brown and black andwear them everywhere, with skirts and pants. I have bunions and have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and have support but these were perfect right out of the box.

I felt it was a bit extravagant to pay so much, but when I put the boots on, my feet felt hugged and comforted. I wore them for the first time to a casual Christmas party with brown skinny cords. My husband said I look really thin tonight and I don't have a weight problem. These boots made my legs look longer. I had a wonderful time at the party and realized that even though I was on my feet for hours, they didn't hurt in the least. I'm accustomed to sore feet, so this was a surprise. I have thin, wide feet that suffer from corns, a hammertoe and a bunion. Bottom line, these boots were worth the price. They are attractive, comfortable and well made.

What a practical and stylish winter boot! Great for weekend errands and shopping. Comfortable and great for walking. True to size and keep feet warm and dry. Were a little snug at first, but wearing them around the house with a thick pair of socks broke them in perfectly.

I love the way these boots look and feel. They are true to size, but if you have thick calves, they might be a little tight when you zip them shut.

I was really excited about these boots because I had been eyeing them for a while before giving in. When they arrived I was disappointed to find that they were way too tight. I don't usually deviate from my regular size and couldn't even fit them with the thinnest socks I own. They were beautiful though, and extra cushiony, so I exchanged them for half size larger. Of course, that size was slightly loose, but I decided to keep them anyway. They are super comfortable; I can wear them all day as long as I have thick socks on.

These are among the most wonderful boots I have ever owned. They are good looking, extremely comfortable, waterproof and warm. I am totally happy with them.

Super narrow, especially around the ankle. I\'ve purchased a couple of La Canadienne ankle boots over the past several years in my size, a 6. They were always roomy enough to wear thick socks with but the 6 in these feels 1/2 to 1 size smaller. I\'d say about 1/2 size smaller in the length and a full size smaller around the ankle. I even had a hard time getting the zipper up. Definitely order up. I\'m not sure if I should see if they stretch out or exchange them for a 6 1/2, or maybe the 6 wide would have fit better. I do love the quality of La Canadienne boots as they last forever and stay waterproof. It just seems weird that they would make these so narrow around the ankle.

I am very pleased about the boots. Zappos was able to get me 9W which fits me perfectly. The boots arrived on time and I have been wearing them ever since. Nice transaction.

I really cannot understand what happened. I got a pair like this one last year, and like them so much that I decided to get another pair. I ordered exactly the same size, 5 1/2, but they do not fit; they are too narrow. I think it may be due to the zipper, which doesn't go all the way down like in the other pair, but just in case, I'll order a 6 next. They are great!

I love these boots. They are like walking on air. At first they were quite snug around the ankles (I have thin ankles and my feet are on the narrow side), but after a few hours they stretched out nicely. I wore them for 8 hours on the first day, walking around constantly and they gave me no problems at all. They are slim, streamlined, stylish boots. The black is really beautiful, and I would love them in brown with jeans. I love La Canadienne and Zappos!

These shoes have had several stormy days in Seattle and have passed with flying colors. I wanted an "everyday" shoe-boot with some kind of a heel to wear with jeans when I did not want to be in formal boots. I also needed a simply fashionable AND comfortable walking boot since I often walk 2 miles home from school when it\'s not too rainy. My feet stay warm and dry with urban style. I put these on for a full day right out of the box with no break-in time, as seems to be the case for wonderful La Canadienne shoes. (These are my third pair of La Canadienne boots). I have a hard time finding stylish boots that are full-day comfortable for my size 11, flat feet, add waterproof on top of that and the market gets really limited. La Canadienne has saved my feet (and my back)! Felicias are not sexy little numbers, but the suede and stitching give them more flare than any rainboot. They also feel super sturdy.

WORTH EVERY CENT - I am now looking for a second pair of these boots in black. These are wonderful boots. I work in the midwest and every day I have to trudge through an area that has at least 2-3 inches of standing water on the sidewalk. So far my feet have stayed dry all day. I live in Chicago and can't say enough about how well these boots have held up. I do not generally spend this much on any shoes but these have been worth the cost. They are also very comfortable and did not require a break in period.

So comfortable. I was looking for a boot that not only would be warm in the colder weather, but look attractive and be comfortable. I'm really happy with these; they were comfortable out of the box, no breaking in, and I've walked back and forth to work in them (about 15 city blocks). I ordered my actual size (7.5) and they're fine with a thin sock. I'm hoping when it snows here, they'll work well. The only negative is a lack of a good tread on the sole, but hopefully it won't be a problem.

I love these boots! I don't usually take the time to submit a review but these boots demand it! They're very comfortable right out of the box- no "break-in" time. They have a 2" heel but it doesn't feel like it- very comfortable to wear all day long. They feel true to length but I have a narrow/medium-ish foot and these were none too loose across the top of the foot. I found wearing thin socks does the trick though. I plan to order another pair in the dark brown! Finally, Zappo's service is great, as always. I'd definitely recommend these boots- they're worth the money!
