Perfect winter boots! I debated ordering these boots for the longest time, but I am so glad that I finally did. They are everything you expect from a winter boot -- warm, comfortable, and keep my feet dry -- but are also super stylish. The look great with a pair of jeans, but can also be dressed up a bit with black pants. I love them!!!

Best Boots Ever - I have wide feet and large calves so boots never fit. But living in NH with all this snow I needed a pair. These turned out to be the greatest fit, waterproof, and slip resistant. I wear them all the time.

Perfection in a casual boot! I have nerve damage in my left foot and bunions from wearing high heels, and so it's difficult to find shoes that are comfy all day and don't pinch in forefoot. These boots are marvelous! Stylish, weather-proof and comfy all day. Tested them this week with 9 hours of walking the cobblestone streets of San Miguel, Mexico. These boots left my feet happier than my running shoes - amazing.

Best boot ever! I just bought this boot and wear it constantly. The boot is very lightweight and has good ankle support. The best part is that it is warm without feeling like your foot is wrapped in plastic and it has a sole with good traction without feeling like you’re in hiking boots. And the sole is pleasantly quiet. All around me on the city streets and inside hallways, people in boots go clomping by me like a noisy herd of horses and with these rubbers-soled boots I silently stride by. Love 'em.

The best boots ever! This is my 3rd pair of La Canadienne's. I own 2 pairs of Juliette (black and brown). They are both comfortable and stylish, while keeping your feet warm and dry with no salt stains! Perfect for Chicago winters.

I love them - I absolutely love these boots!. I live on Maui and it gets really wet here in Hana where I live. These boots are so stylish yet stable and I do not sink in the soft soil. I love the toe style because it's not to pointy or square. So comfortable, I want to sleep in them, lots of foot support too. I am really choosy about what I wear. They are feminine looking.

Love 'em! I have these in brown, gray & black. I even bought a pair for my mom for Christmas. They're like walking on air! It's always been very difficult to find boots/shoes to fit my big size 11 Wide feet until I found out about zappos.com. Now I get to try on shoes/boots in the comfort of my own home!

Another Great La Canadienne boot - Great warmth, comfort, slip resistance, and style and they're made in Canada. I live on a very steep hill in the Northeast (with ice and snow) and I was walking down with my husband and he said, “what kind of boots are those?” because I'm usually slipping and sliding, but these are like snow tires...

Great looking boot! The grey color is delicious, and the boot is both cool and elegant. Even in wide, the boots were still a little too narrow for my bunion-inflicted feet, but after two wearings the soft leather has stretched and now the boots are very comfortable.

Really nice looking boot, but not as comfortable as my other older pair of La Canadienne boots. My last pair is also a wide and fits perfectly, but this new pair is a wide and it fits more like a regular B width. There is also a strange stiffness on the inner heel. While I love the way these boots look, I don't think they would fit the bill for someone like me who is on my feet for the majority of the day.

I really like this brand - shoes and boots are well made, very good quality. I ordered their boots initially but the wide calf ones were not really wide calf, so I ordered booties. I have tried many brands of booties, these are the only ones that feel very fitted at the top. I have never come across such fitted booties. They have wide width for feet and are super comfortable, but if the width is not carried to the top, what is the point of having wide widths at all! That was my only issue. So women with wider calves these are not for you. Otherwise the booties are comfortable. But from a fashion standpoint, they don't really stand out. They are simple and comfortable.

The stitching line is very flattering, i.e., the tapering up towards the midline slims the look. Heel high is just right if plan on walking. Stitching thread color is a dark grayish-blue, so it's visible. If you're looking for a seamless and smooth look w/o embellishment this detail may be bothersome. Great for narrow / non-athletic lower legs due to height of shaft. Biggest design drawback: the toebox is REALLY square! like, almost a throwback to the 70s. Kinda makes you look like you have Frankenstein boots on w that square toe line... makes your feet look "heavy"!

Really well constructed boots. I so wished that I could have kept them. The shoe itself was wide enough in the toe box and forefoot. However the ankle was very narrow - I could only zip the boot halfway up.

Great style, heel height and waterproof functionality for the winter - but this boot is too narrow for me. I have narrow feet but with bunions this shoe is too tight in width / too hard under the ball of foot. Sadly will be returning. So thankful Zappos makes it so easy to shop and return for fussy hard to fit feet.

I was SO disappointed when I got these boots! Very narrow for a B width, with a very tight heel and shaft. I have to return them and continue my hunt for winter boots that have some style to them. Over all, a good looking boot, but made for narrow feet and stick legs, neither of which apply to me.

I really like these shoes. They are pricey but are comfortable and have pretty good arch support. I just hope the suede holds up- so far so good. My foot is a little narrow but I don't buy narrows and these fit me well.

Gorgeous boot but the upper is really tight. Too bad, because they're really comfortable otherwise - not to mention warm and waterproof.

I like the boot, but it is tight around the ankle & I have slender ankles.

The shoe runs a little small - this was the first time I had to pick up a wide in a shoe size. Otherwise, it's almost perfect. I purchased this for a two-and-a-half week trip in Europe and it was half-rainy and half-sunny the whole time. When it rained, it poured, but these shoes worked really well. (I had wanted La Canadienne specifically because of them being comfortable and waterproof.) My feet stayed dry the whole time. I actually have owned a previous La Canadienne that I picked up on super sale from Nordstrom; those were my favorite boots ever. But I left them behind on another trip (curse!) so I've been purchasing and returning this brand's shoes for about four or five pairs now, before finding the right one - go Zappos awesome free return/delivery service!

This boot is extremely comfortable out of the box and true to size. However, I just noticed that the decorative stitching on the side of the boot is coming apart (after having the boots for less than a month) so I will have to return them. Very disappointing.

I ordered my true size first, but found the ankle too tight, so returned them. I was afraid to go up a size, since the length felt fine; so I ordered my size (7 1/2) in a wide (D). The ankle is still a bit snug; but I can unzip a little and, it feels fine. I feel going to an 8 would be too big. I'm trusting the previous reviewers on this one and keeping these boots. I'm hoping for a good walking shoe in cold and snow.

I'm glad I bought these. They're comfortable, look sharp, and go with a lot. These are the type of boots you end up reaching for often.

Love the boots. Waterproof, good traction, great for northeast winters, and can wear them to work. Only negatives are: not a lot of arch support and they leave black scuff marks on the floor.

Excellent service received from Zappos. The shoes are very comfortable. Anybody who wants to order this should order the next size bigger.

Very comfortable but tight zip around ankles. Even though I have little larger than average ankles, this does not usually happen so a tighter fit around ankles. I have unzipped about an inch if needed instead of returning them because they are so versatile, comfortable, and waterproof!
