Very comfortable, but made a squish squish noise when walking, bought inserts and that solved the problem; but could be a real issue if you don't want to wear inserts or plan on getting these wet.

A great combination of style and comfort. Wore these shoes a solid week while walking the streets of Tokyo. They require a minimal amount of breaking in, but once they do, they\'re a great alternative to the all-too-popular sneaker.

Toe box is too pinced and narrow for comfort. The leather is more rigid than the suede ones my husband wears in fall. Bought this for him for summer wear. Going back.

I have a problem in that my left foot is larger than my right one. It makes it difficult to buy shoes.

Comfortable. Good fit. I prefer the laces to the traditional leather laces. The inside footbed liners are cheap and thin and came loose after a day. They wrinkle like wet socks and are uncomfortable. This was before they got wet. They are boat shoes. Plan on buying inserts or just buy a better shoe.

Good looking and very comfortable shoe. Cloth trim is JUNK & tears apart easily within the first 18 months. Been wearing the originals for 40 years. Still have some of them. Cloth material and construction of this model is junk. If you want a deck shoe that wears out and tears apart in 12 months, this is the deck shoe style for you.

I've always loved this shoe, but this years model had some serious issues with quality. Within 2-3 weeks of wearing them, the leather in started to pull up and make for a very uncomfortable sole, and nearly impossible to wear for more than a short walk.

This shoe is nice in all respects, except for one fatal flaw (probably a manufacturing rather than a design defect): The inside of the left shoe where two pieces of leather/fabric are stitched together (about 1/3 from the front) has a rather spikey protrusion, which has been irritating my foot (redness and blistering). I waited for for a few months for the shoe to be broken in, wore the shoe with and without socks, to no avail. Interestingly enough, the right shoe is just fine. Unfortunately, I have to throw this pair away.

I am basing this on the last 2 pairs I have purchased and I live in Sperry's and sneakers. The heels on these sneakers are hollow and not solid, the wear out quickly and they do not mention that, less of a fan than I used to be and like other companies there is no customer service and they do not care.

I have owned many pairs of this shoe over the years. Quality has dropped off. Poor construction. Poor quality leather. Very uncomfortable. Do not buy.

I bought this pair of shoes 6 months ago, and the leather insole is separating from the foam base glued inside the shoe. They have become extremely uncomfortable and impossible to keep from blistering my feet. The leather inside is curling up and it constantly feels like you have something stuck on the medial side of your foot inside the shoe. I have a pair of sperrys that are 6 years old and are still great. Evidently they are like many other companies and have started to make a cheaper lower quality product.

Although this shoe is stylish and fits fairly well, I have had to return two pairs due to defects. The first pair I received had eyelets come loose. The second pair's arch support padding curved near the toes, after a few times wearing them. I was suppressed that a fairly pricey shoe from Sperry would have all these problems. I probably would not buy Sperry's again. Thankfully Zappos is great about returns and standing behind what they sell.

This shoe fell apart in a couple weeks and once the insole began to fall apart, it became very uncomfortable to wear. Way overpriced for the quality of the product.

We received these shoes less than a week ago and my husband ha worn them 4 times. They are already unraveling and coming apart, Zappos shame on you for sending such a lousy product with no recourse. We are most definitely unsatisfied. We need a credit! I would rat 0 stars if I could.

I figured out that a sandals or crocks do the best when out on the water in my boat, even barefoot. I ordered the Sperry Topsiders to be a little bit more stylish when I am out boating but they just didn't feel right on my feet, maybe cause i wear a 13, who knows, but I'm sure this shoe is great for small footed people. Oh well looks like i get to save the money for more fishing gear. other than that the size was true and the width was just OK. But I wanted to see what the hype was all about with these shoes, The comfort hasn't changed since the first time I've tried out this type of shoe back in the '90's but like i said this shoe is for smaller feet. =)

Cheap shoes. Yes, they are comfortable. Yes, they are cool and so mainstream if you want to look like every other college kid because you're insecure. For the price, I would expect much better. The leather is so cheap that I can imagine it falling apart in a matter of months, and after only having them for about a month, the sole is beginning to separate from the sole in the front. Honestly, I would be completely satisfied if these shoes were about half this price. But they are not, and are thus a rip-off. Be a man and get some Aldos. They are on the cheaper side and are of solid quality, not to mention cool.

While this shoe does look great it does lack in comfort in big ways. There is absolutely no heel support. These shoes also make a squishing noise as you walk in them if you don't buy different insoles for the shoe.
