Zappos makes it so easy, efficient and affordable to shop for unusually wide shoes for a guy (being slightly wider than marked was a good thing for my size).

Very good looking boat shoe. This is the fastest I ever got my shoes. You can't beat this brand and this company.

The fit is fine, I didn’t have any issues with the standard width being too narrow like other reviews have mentioned. My only complaint is that when worn without socks the leather insole creates a suction cup fart sound with the arch of my foot. I’ve tried wearing them looser and tighter and the sticky-suction effect persists. I’m going to get some no-show socks and keep them but they won’t work for slip on and off shoes near the pool.

My husband was replacing an old pair but when they arrived the box contained two left shoes. They weren’t even the same size. After a call to Zappos a new pair arrived within two days. The rep was very gracious and apologized for the inconvenience.

Bought these for my fiance to replace an older pair (different model). He says they are really comfortable and likes that they can be either dressed up or casual. My only issue is that they are showing a lot of signs of wear after just a couple of weeks.

Excellent topsider, easily the most comfortable I’ve ever owned. There are 2 big caveats. Some have commented that these feel much smaller than other Sperrys. I found that the wider shoe fits like a typical topsider, while the regular width is very narrow. The other issue is odd: the insole is not made of a breathable material. So if you wear this without socks, your feet will stick to the insole and make farting noises as you walk. This is not subtle. Fortunately it was easily solved with a $4 pair of Dr. Scholl insoles (and made the shoe even more comfortable). But jeez, it’s a topsider, this problem should have been fixed in early production.

Although I have not been wearing them often or long, these shoes look great. They feel sized correctly. They do appear lighter in color in life then in than in the images. Prior to this boat shoe I wore a very similar Sperry model and they lasted a good long time and even after years of use don't look that bad.

This is a great shoe. Fit perfect right out of the box. I have a narrow heal and it slips a little but all shoes I buy are like this...so to me it fit perfect. Would recommend this shoe.

These are great shoes, but not out of the box. The stock insoles are weak--I replaced w/ SuperFeet. Finish on stitching inside at Achilles heel was rough! I sanded all the rough stuff off with a Dremel and drenched the shoes in mink oil. Now they are great, but I didn't expect to have to do cobbling to make them wearable.

Styling is excellent and I like its casual look. It feels narrower than marked; I'd probably order the wider one next time.

My boyfriend thought these were really great looking shoes. Unfortunately they seem to run narrow so they had to be returned.

Excellent service was provided including free overnight delivery. The shoes fit as described however, the break in period to allow the shoes to fit comfortable without socks was slightly painful. I love the shoes for work (I work on boats for a living) and the traction on wet surfaces was amazing.

The wide (E) shoe was only marginally wider than a normal (D) shoe. The edge of the footbed doesn't seem to extend all of the way to the edge of the shoe.

My 13 year old son likes his shoes; they are just what he was looking for. He did say he has to wear socks with them because they scrape the back of ankle otherwise.

Very comfortable, but made a squish squish noise when walking, bought inserts and that solved the problem; but could be a real issue if you don't want to wear inserts or plan on getting these wet.

Fit well out of the box. felt secure on wet boat deck. Not the color I wanted but good shoe.

A great combination of style and comfort. Wore these shoes a solid week while walking the streets of Tokyo. They require a minimal amount of breaking in, but once they do, they\'re a great alternative to the all-too-popular sneaker.

Toe box is too pinced and narrow for comfort. The leather is more rigid than the suede ones my husband wears in fall. Bought this for him for summer wear. Going back.

I have a problem in that my left foot is larger than my right one. It makes it difficult to buy shoes.

Comfortable. Good fit. I prefer the laces to the traditional leather laces. The inside footbed liners are cheap and thin and came loose after a day. They wrinkle like wet socks and are uncomfortable. This was before they got wet. They are boat shoes. Plan on buying inserts or just buy a better shoe.

Good looking and very comfortable shoe. Cloth trim is JUNK & tears apart easily within the first 18 months. Been wearing the originals for 40 years. Still have some of them. Cloth material and construction of this model is junk. If you want a deck shoe that wears out and tears apart in 12 months, this is the deck shoe style for you.

I've always loved this shoe, but this years model had some serious issues with quality. Within 2-3 weeks of wearing them, the leather in started to pull up and make for a very uncomfortable sole, and nearly impossible to wear for more than a short walk.
