The shoe (as always) is great. Why would you shorten the lacesI can hardly tie them.

I'll start with, they're great looking, and their quality seems first class. However, let me qualify the following by admitting I have odd feet. I'm a size 12 regular, but I usually order a size 13 regular because they're slightly wider. I initially ordered these Sperry's as a size 13 regular, but they were way too narrow. Fortunately, I was able to return these and get the wider versions of the same shoe. I'm still experimenting with ways to try and make these more comfortable by trying various combinations of the original insoles, adding some custom orthotics, or trying some off-the-shelf orthotics I just ordered. Their comfort is improving, but my feet aren't yet 100% comfortable. I'm puzzled because other brands' 13 regulars work just fine right out of the box.

Very comfortable shoe. Only issue is the liner is not glued down, so if I wear the shoe in bare feet, the liner will sometimes stick to my feet when I take the shoe off.

Excellent comfort, style is great, I have gotten many compliments on style.

One shoe fits perfectly, the other (right) has a ridge underneath my foot, as if the arch is more to the center than the side (inside), offset, making it uncomfortable.

Shoe is fairly comfortable and easy to get off and on.

Go one size up or 1/2 i own more than one best shoes money can buy its stand up right by Clark's

Fit is good. Materials and workmanship good as well. A bit tight in width but some break in should fix that. Other wise comfortable and a good look.

More narrow than expected, high quality. Sperry has best in class service and stands by their products

Great shoes, have owned several pairs of topsiders for over 30 years. Only minor complaint is that the tongue on one of the most recent Billfish shoes is sewn in at a slight angle, quality control issue. Still fits well, and one of the few shoe brands that makes Extra Wide shoes that fit. Need more shoe options in XW!

"Wide" size in this shoe is narrower than the same size (12W) Sperry's I bought a couple of years ago. I've worn them around the house the past couple of weeks, hoping they will stretch out and not pinch the top of my feet, but so far, they are still not comfortable. Leather around the back of my heels seems thinner, too, making them difficult to slip on. I have to use my fingers or a shoe horn to keep the leather from bunching up under my heel.

This is my 3 rd pair- excellent value and comfort-

sole is a bit too hard. can't walk for too long on this shoe. fine otherwise.

The insoles of my last pair which are only one year old separate from the base of the shoe. Very frustrating when you're traveling as you have little to replace it. Other than that, I love the shoe. I hate using crazy glue on my shoes.

I've been wearing the Billfish for years. They're great as daily wearers. The only problem I have is that it's impossible to find replacement laces. Help!_

These are not the same sperrys that I had bought before. I have the same exact pair. Just in a different color that i bought years ago. I underetand that was years ago that i bought them. I got the same size. Just a different color. These seem tighter around my feet then the other pair. I wear the same socks with both pair.

The light color lace holders makes a terrific boat shoe look plastic return to the previous style and colors.

I would have given this shoe a five star if I could have been fitted by an individual to measure and fit my foot.

Quality has fallen off over the years. Maybe lesser quality materials, or poor manufacturing controls. Try making them in the U.S. I would pay more if It means buying them less than every two years. I wear mine several times a week and they just dont hold.up like they did years ago.

Men's size 14 Wide did not have enough shoe lace to tie knot. Husband eliminated one set of shoe lace holes and now shoe lace is long enough to tie tightly.
