A great slipper - I feel that Daniel Green's slipper should be sold as a slipper for mens as well for womens. They are wonderful slippers and comfortable to the feet.

Not just Grandmothers slipper anymore!!! I was given my pair, I would have never thought of buying a pair for myself. I got these and put them on... and that was it! I didn't want to take them off. I read in someone else's review that they relieve stress in the feet and I totally agree with that. They also make my feet feel better when they're swollen. This 32 yr. old is now going to be a "Dormie Lifer". I would like them to be made in leather, though.

No longer in Dept. stores - Sad to see these are no longer sold in the dept. stores. Have been buying Dormies for many years. I have also noticed that glue holding the slipper together is not holding it together like before. My last pair came unglued, which never happened before. Still love the dormie, only wish it would last a little longer, as they did before.

Daniel Green Dormie - Best slipper ever! Can be worn outdoors as well as in, very nice with jeans or shorts. I have every color made, and wear them every where. Holds up well to outdoor wear and are also sexy. I'm 30 years old, which means they're not old lady shoes.

I've been wearing this slipper since college in 1954. The first pair was red and made out of leather. I've since had white, black, (my favorite) and gold. They're the best fit, as I have a narrow width (11AA). I was very disappointed with my last pair as the sole came unglued on the inside of both slippers. The new way of sewing the insole is very tacky as the thread gets dirty and the thread under the heel wears out. But, they must have improved the soles, as this last pair was the first not to show any wear on the bottom. Mine have stretched, but that was ok with me. Even with these complaints, they're still the best slipper of this style made, and that's why I'm purchasing my 10th pair in 49 years!

My favorites. I'm a man and have had several pairs of these slippers. They're wonderful. 'Wish I could wear them out in public.

Dormies.....they are the BEST !! I agree with anonymous from Texas....if men like them as they should wear and enjoy them as well! They could be worn as casual sandals/slippers yearound.

I highly recommend this slipper for men as well as for women.

Elegant slipper - I liked these shoes, but due to the stiffness, found them to be a little tight. I gave them to someone who is a smaller 6 1/2 than I am. I think I would size one up if you foot is not narrow, or instep is not high. Nice shoe really, looks like they will last a long time.

DANIEL GREEN DORMIES ARE A MUST HAVE! I will always love the Daniel Green Dormie slipper. I've known about this slipper since I was a girl and I'm now 48 yrs. old. It was sort of a status slipper when I was growing up with my mother, grandmother, and other ladies I grew up around. When I became an adult, I always looked for them and for years you could buy them in the department stores. Even though you can still find a few, the stores no longer carry the narrow width that I need. Thanks Zappos for carrying the narrow width. The only reason that I did not rate 5 stars overall is because the slipper is no longer made with real leather. I still love them though!

I have been wearing Daniel Green slippers for over 30 years, nothing else to compare. However, I would prefer a leather sole as in the distant past as I find the current material used in the slipper can sometimes be dangerous, especially on a rug. It seems the sole catches and I almost trip because of it so I'm extra careful. Otherwise, the slipper is great.

My mother LOVES these! Love the sizes!! I ordered a pair of these for my mother for Christmas--she has worn them forever and loves the comfort and that they fit her narrow foot. I decided to try a pair, as I have been wearing flip-flops in the house, and probably need more support for my poor feet. I usually wear a 10 narrow, but had to send them back for the 10 slim. They are comfortable, but I think they age me! I wish Daniel Greene made this shoe in a thong sandal style--something a little cuter. I look like my mother, but my feet don't hurt!

Daniel Green slippers-Dormie - I have worn Daniel Green slippers for years and was able to order the same style I have worn at Zappos. I ordered the size I usually wear but they were too large. I sent them back, ordered the next 1/2 size down and they were fine. It's so easy to return at Zappos and great that you don't have to pay postage. A word to the wise that these slippers seem to run large.

NEEDS SOME REVAMPING - The shoe is wonderful; however, it is made ever so slightly narrower, than other Daniel Green shoes, for a medium width. A wide would probably have been better, considering how narrow, this shoe was made. Was a tad disappointed in the width.

Perfect summer slip-on - Shoe is very comfortable, with a simple line and small heel.

Daniel Green Dormie review - I love this slipper, especially for its support because I have problem feet. I did notice the change in quality in the last year or so in the materials ....I use to be able to buy one pair a year, now within 4 to 6 months they look very worn. The inside sole and upper band wear out very quickly. The structure is still very strong though, that's why I like this slipper. I understand they aren't made out of leather anymore....that is very disheartening.

Very pleased with slipper and service! The Daniel Green Dormie's are quite stylish and comfortable. I was happy to see that they were available in gold and am quite happy with my purchase. Zappos service was excellent! I placed my order, received the slippers, and reordered another size, received 2nd. Shipment, returned the first pair, and received a credit all within 11 days. It was much less hassle than shopping at the mall which is 3 miles from my home. And I paid no shipping or restocking charges. This was my first experience with Zappos and I will certainly be back.
