I ordered an 11 because I wear a 10.5 but I should've ordered a 11.5. They're a tad small but if the right size could be the most comfortable work boot on the market for foundry work.

I started with the 6" powerwelts and they were great. I then got a pair of the wellington style. First pair I absolutely loved. they were my go to everyday work shoe. held up great and were comfortable. After about 2 years of abuse i figured it was time for another pair. The second pair is not as comfortable and is much hard to put on and take off even after being broken in. I was very disappointed and have now moved to other brands since my first pair finally wore out.
My first pair I would have given a 5 star without a doubt. the 2nd pair barley gets a 2 star. Not sure what they did, but they done make them like they use to.

Ever-Guard was not what I expected -
I expected a better product from Timberland when they guaranteed abrasion resistance. Ever-Guard leather is no more than smoke and mirrors. I have worn these boots every third day of work for 3 weeks which totals 7 10 hour days and the toes are no better or abrasion resistant than my Double H or Rockies.

There's a weird inward bulge inside the boots where your outer ankles are. I don't know if this helps keep your feet in or what but it's in the wrong spot if intentional. My ankles rub very harshly on these "bumps". They're unwearable.

THe boot was tight across the arch of my foot. I am diabetic so I am picky about my feet. They would probably be great for a normal person.

Could not get my foot into the boot, the calf opening is just to narrow. Other wellingtons fit fine, this pair is almost impossible to put on. If I got them on I would not be able to take them off without help. So much for slip on's.

My co has all maintenance workers use these boots. They are so uncomfortable its almost unbearable toward the end of a 10hr shift. My heel is throbbing and my toes feel like somebody is stepping on them. They are also not very durable, I've had mine for almost 4mos and already showing signs of tearing and the steel toe is ripping through. In sorry but I used to live timberland boots, I had a pair before I got hired with maint., I had to return them, they tore up my heel it was hard to walk in them. I will never buy another pair of timberlands again if the choice is mine. I called timberland about the issue with this boot and all they said was get the insoles, I did get insoles and they are still very uncomfortable.

The bottom of the boot fell off except the heel. I was forced to flop around a customer's house which was really embarrassing. I noticed it peeling a week into using them, and by the end of the third month full failure.

Feel in love with these instantly. Sadly the liner fell apart in 3 months leaving them unwearable.
