Don't know about durability yet. Ordered wide and I'm glad I did cause I like to put in an extra comfort insole.

This was my first experience with Timberland and I could not have been more satisfied. Quality product and the entire process from ordering to receipt was done expeditiously and as advertised.

Takes a couple days -
To break in and stop rubbing on my calf. Wouldn’t be a problem if you wear tall socks. After that no complaints at all. Boot goes on very nice, you will tear these boot straps. Getting off requires a bit more effort, but already getting easier. The coating on the lower section seems as though it will prove very durable. I will probably purchase another pair of these when the time comes.
I'd also recommend:
Dr Marten Luke Rigger. No steel toe though

Would have liked a pair that hadn't been obviously worn already! But I'll take them. A discount on my next pair would make up for it!!

I'm a firefighter and have worked various side jobs. From Construction sites to being a mechanic. Always had problems of my feet hurting from being on my feet all day from other work boots. Until I tried Timberland boots. The Timberland Pros have been the most comfortable boot I've ever had. I wear them on the job and off. I recommend them to everybody who asks about my boots or if they are complaining about their boots hurting their feet. My first pair lasted me over 10 years.
Now I did have an issue with the soles coming off but only after several years of use. I had 4 pairs over the years and will buy these boots in the future. I wear them everyday. Even more that my tennis shoes. They are that comfortable to me.

I use the boot as a work boot. I agree with a previous review that it causes blisters, cuts, or swelling at the peak points of the calf. A more rounded than pointy cuff at the top of the boot may eliminate this problem. Surprised that Timberland hasn't figured this out. Initial fit on wide boot feels like it crams the toes but after wearing a couple of times, this felling should go away and feel more comfortable. Be sure to wear high knee cap socks to prevent blisters. Other than that, the boot appears to be of quality.

I've worn these boots for a couple of years now, yes they also cut into my leg but after I took some sand paper and sanded down the stitching a bit they've turned out to be the best boots ever. Going to buy a new pair now.

Great boot , very comfortable, however, on the top of the boot where the handles are to pull up the boot, the inside scratches my leg, had to put tape over it, other than that this is a great boot for work

Would have given a 5 . But the lining inside the boots tore easily. But comfortable and over all a nice boot.

I like these boots so far but haven't been able to see if they hold up when they get wet. I have never had a waterproof Wellington boot.

Zappos great service as usual. Quick delivery even though I picked standard shipping. Gotta love it!\r\n\r\nThe boots are nicely built and look like they will hold up well. Initially they are tough to get on - tight. Once they are on, they are comfortable. Nice cushion sole liner. I haven\'t worn them enough to break them in. I wish the grab holes, on the top of the welt, were loops, but alas.

Good work boot if pull-ons are your style -
Don't get me wrong. This is a GREAT boot. They're fairly comfortable and seem to be very durable. I've had mine for a couple months now and wear them 2-3 days out of a week. At first, the boot chafed both ankles. That seems to have abated as the boots wear in. Now there is just a hotspot on my left ankle that I am hoping will go away with time. They feel a bit loose even with thick Wolverine socks, but don't flop around on my feet so I suppose they're OK. I enjoy these boots and am glad I bought them, but I'm a lace-up kinda guy. I thought I'd like some pull-ons, but now wish I'd have gone with the lace-ups. If you already are comfortable wearing pull-ons and need a stout, durable work boot, you should seriously consider these.
