I like the boots and they seem pretty comfortable, definitely more comfortable than my other boots (except for my Uggs which are not very stylish and make me look like I'm wearing "work" boots) but I just haven't been able to sufficiently test them out. Unlike my other boots, the soles are very thick and hence good cushioning so you get height but without the high heel foot contortion. I also like the way the boots look.

I am so pleased with my new boots! I have a very narrow foot but a 15 1/2 inch calf and wondered if they would fit, I was thrilled when they arrived, a little snug at first but after several wearings they are perfect. I wear them with fleece lined tights. Love these boots!

These boots are very comfortable with room in the toe box. They are easy to walk in, and I walk at a brisk pace. I am also not known for thin calfs, but these boots zip up nicely. There is no room for jeans, though. The boots look very stylish with skirts. But the best part? You cannot hear me clicking down the hall! The heels are quiet.

Love these boots! I purchased them b/c I was going on a trip and knew I'd be walking a lot on pavement. Very comfortable, warm, wore well. Look great with everything from nice dresses to jeans. GOOD PURCHASE!

Excellent boot. Bought for doing a lot of walking while also wanting to be a bit stylish in the city. Very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this boot.

Lovely, very comfortable boots. Mine are a half size too big now that I've worn them a couple of times because the leather is soft & supple. Love them anyway, so comfortable you can wear them all day and keep them on all evening! I have a very bad back and these are the first heeled boots I've been able to wear in years. Expensive, but darn well worth every penny!

I have these boots in the black and love the look of the strappy effect. They have held up well and have great support. I am 5-11 and wear an 11 (42) and have quite a narrow foot but don't usually have to buy a narrow. Very pleased with the quality and style. I would buy a Naot boot again.

I have not worn these enough to say about the wear of these boots . My story is I'm a 6.5 EE size so it's pretty hard to find attractive comfortable shoes. I have worn Naot in past and know their shoes run wide which was my benefit in past so decided to go for it in a larger size (38/7). Lo and behold they fit!! a little longer but because of the style it doesn't look to big. Wouldn't mind more width but any bigger would look like I'm wearing someone else's shoes.

I wanted to keep these boots so badly, but they were too narrow for my wide sz 39 foot. It stated that it was a narrow to medium width, so that was accurate. I walked around the house and my foot spilled over the sides so much and my pinky toe was crammed. They are the most stylish boots I have ever seen, and I like the leather. The heel strangely made it feel like there was no heel. If I didn't have a wide foot, these would be very comfortable. Oh please make this style in a wide!

I wanted to keep these boots so badly since they’re so sexy. Unfortunately I have a wide foot and my pinky toe hurt when I was walking around the house. The description is correct in saying that is a narrow to medium width. The calves were a little tight too but I am curvy. The leather was a good material and the footbed was great. Heel wasn’t even uncomfortable. Just wish the toe box was wider.

I loved this boot, the footbed was very comfortable. Unfortunately I have large calves and I couldn't zip it up all the way, otherwise these would have been keepers!!

I have hallux rigidus in my big toe and was looking for boots that would protect it from bending or bearing too much impact. These boots work well for that purpose. I've worn them all day, including a fair amount of walking while commuting in the city. Things that keep them from being a 5-star shoe for me - the toe box is not roomy and the calf is pretty snug. I can only wear thin tights with these boots. If I tried to wear a sock there wouldn't be enough room in the toe box, and if I wore thicker leggings I wouldn't be able to zip them closed. Fortunately they are very stylish and work well with thin tights paired with a skirt or dress.

The previous reviews were right. These are great if you have narrow feet and skinny calves. Since I have neither, they are going back. Too bad because they were an interesting style and the leather was beautiful.

I really like the style and heel height. They are comfortable and the heel has a nice cushioned feel, but they do not have the arch support that I have known in other Naot shoes that I have worn in the past.

Good quality and handsome, but the toe box was tight. I usually wear a 40-41, but found the size 40 narrow and cramped.

I love Naot. The comfort, quality, and arch support is unsurpassed in the shoe industry. I tried the Naot Illusion boot first, but wasn't a fan of the Black Pearl color, so I tried this one. It met every expectation except for one thing that really turned me off. In the Jet Black version of this boot, the hardware (buckle and studs) on the straps of this boot are antique gold. Which in my opinion does not look good on black. It needed to be pewter or silver. For that price tag, I wanted to love them in every way. It may not be a big deal to you, though. The size 39 is my usual size in Naot sandals and it was the right size for this boot as well.

Paid over $300.00 for these boots! I love the style and the brand. However, returned them due to the very low grade of leather used. Leather feels synthetic. Boots are very light in weight and have a cheap plastic like texture that is unlikely to become softened over time. VERY disappointed. Returned them.

The boot was stylish and very well made. Unfortunately, the leather was a bit stiff in the calf area and kept rubbing against my leg which I found annoying and therefore I had to return them. My legs/feet tend to be sensitive in regard to stiffness in leather so I would not let the "stiffness" dissuade you if that aspect doesn't bother you. I tend to buy only Naot shoes. I would also recommend the Oyster which I just purchased and are delightfully comfortable.

Wanted to keep these so badly as they’re the most beautiful and sexy comfortable boots out there. The 39 my usual size was fine on length as I’m 8-8.5, but the width is too narrow for my wide foot. I walked around the house for a half hour and wanted to make it work as beauty is pain, but I just couldn’t justify spending so much on a boot that I knew would give me a lot of pain. I got the 40 just to try it out and the shoe was too long and the width still too narrow. So sad. Please Naot come out with knee length boots like these in a Wide or medium to wide like your other shoes! I can’t find a single pair of comfortable knee high boots anywhere:(

I am quite surprised at how narrow these are, and I say that as a person with a narrow foot. I fear that if I try to wear these, I will experience foot pain long before the leather can break in. I was really hoping for a melding of comfort and fashion, but my search will continue. Too bad.

First, I ordered down a size as suggested, and they were too small. I'm a true 38, so that's the size I'd need. However, I'm sending them back because the leather looks plastic-y. Really, they are pretty nice, and comfortable; but if I'm going to invest $300 in a pair of boots, I might as well invest $400 in a better quality item.

Absolutely love NAOT. Have about 6 pair, but much to my disappointment the boots did not fit. I tried the 40 and 41 and both were too tight across my toes. The look of the boot was great and the overall comfort was good, just wish the toes had not been so tight.

So many things worked about this boot and the foot bed and heel were great. But the shaft is over done with the straps and way too wide and a bit short. I'm 5'6" 115 LB with a hefty 13." calf. The shaft hit about 1.5" below the knee with a huge gap. For the price, I'd expect a sleeker fit. Seems like wide calf is the new normal!
