Perfect! I love, LOVE these boots! I am on my feet a lot for my job and these boots are great! I feel supported and I don't get that "numb" feeling in my feet I normally get after wearing heels all day. They were a little tight when I first put them on, but after wearing them for a few minutes, they fit perfectly!

Awesome comfort and looks - Very comfortable, very good looking. I get lots of compliments every time I wear them. I can be feeling great all day long.

I ordered up half size because it was a boot I normally wear a 7. I love the look of this boot I am glad Naot had something that looked stylish for this season

Very comfortable boot. I can teach in these all day on concrete floors and move to second shift as drama director jumping from gym floor to plywood stage for hours. Seriously, given the height of the heel, I am amazed at how comfortable the boot is, especially since I have next to no cartilage in one knee due to 80s athletic injury. Comfortable boot. Only reservation: it is a very synthetically shiny boot, not my usual style, but for the comfort, whatever! Besides, my students think the shine is fun!

New To Naot - I should be embarrassed to admit the number of hours I spent searching for the "right" boot, but I'm not. It was worth it. I ordered (and sent back) two other pairs of boots before I finally bit the bullet and forked over a much larger sum for the Naots. I was immediately impressed with the comfort and grounded quality of these boots. The heel looks like it's there, without feeling like it's there. The color isn't my ideal... but I've been growing increasingly fond of these boots because of their "wear"ability. I've worn them under skirts and with pants tucked in as well. Considering that the Frye, Carmen 14L was my first choice (out of stock) and a perfect 10, in my opinion, I would rate the Naot an 8.

Very stylish boot - I own more than a dozen styles of Naot shoes and sandals and rely on them for comfort and looks. I actually went for this boot because of the looks. My one surprise was that it was narrow in the toe box. I was able to solve this by moving to a 39, instead of my usual 38. It's a lovely boot!

Versatile boot! These boots are fairly comfortable and good looking. They can be worn with skirts (casually) or pants, although tucking in anything more bulky than leggings is impractical. I really am looking for a silvery-gray boot, and these are more taupe-colored, however, it's a pretty color. I am 5'9" and of average build (not skinny, not overweight) and the calves are tight. I can wear these because they have elastic inserts, but I still wish they would make boots with roomier calves so that people who eat could tuck in their jeans, too.

Mostly I liked these boots, but the zippers were terrible quality (lasted less than a year before giving out - not something I expect in boots at this price), and, contrary to other poster comments, these boots were not compatible with my hallux rigidus (they're stiff enough, but the heel / toe elevation is too steep). They were so pretty that I liked wearing them, but they caused terrible foot pain, so it was kind of a relief when the zippers gave out. I hope to some day replace them with a pair of boots with better zippers and a footbed that is more like a Dansko Professional.

Definitely runs at least a half size smaller than normal, and it is narrow (which is fine by me). I wear and 11, and I LOVED this boot, but it was too small.

A bit narrow for me, but could tell they were comfy if the right size. But I thought they looked very cheap, not as cute as they are in the picture.

Wanted to love this boot, but have to return due to design issues. The boot is designed to fit a person with narrow feet and large calves (not a high percentage of people). This is a comfortable (albeit narrow) footbed. Most disappointing is that the shaft width is huge. I can slide my foot in all the way without unzipping (the zipper hardware feels cheap). The boots gap on my narrow calves like galoshes. I have a narrow foot, and this boot still fits snug on the sides. The description says the boot runs large, but this is an error. Just like all the other reviewers noted, this boot runs a size small. I normally wear 40, bought 41, and it is not at all loose. I am not left with good impression of NAOT fit and design.

These boots are super comfy and super cute, but the leather scratches very easily. After wearing them for only an hour in an office setting, they are so scratched up they look like they have already been worn for several months! When you pay this much this should not happen. There is no way I could even return them now. A little disappointed with the quality for the money.

HARD, HARD, HARD! Cute enough boot - the granite color is actually quite beautiful...and the styling is cute...kind of a Russian boot look, but... not comfortable at all. Too hard! I was expecting to slip into firm yet cushiony softness that would massage my feet every step of the way...something that I could wear the cold mornings running to the bus...something that would feel like a second skin - at least I thought that's what awaited me from reading the other stellar reviews. But absolutely no cushy-ness at all.

After reading reviews about the toe box being narrow, I went up one size. I usually wear a 38 in Naot but the 39 was a good fit for this boot. I can wear a sock and the fit is perfect. Comfortable and stylish- I don’t compromise on either. Worth the price. Will last many years.

Love the fit

Super cute! They felt great on my feet and were a perfect fit on my calves. I ordered 3 different boots looking to find out which one I liked best. I planned on keeping the Blondo brand boots as my feet are always cold and they were fur lined, but then I put on the Naots. Not only was the fit perfect, the boots looked fantastic. My husband told me I looked hot and I damn near fell over as he never says these things! I was concerned about the heal when I ordered them as I have chronic back pain and heals are usually a no no, but the higher heal was not an issue making these boots a keeper. The price is a lot higher than what I usually pay for boots, but I believe they will be well worth the price.

I already have a pair of Naot boots, so it was difficult to justify the purchase considering the cost. My only regret is not having done it sooner! These boots are awesome. I have plantar Fasciitis and bunions. I can't wear most "normal" shoes due to pain and insufficient space in the toe area. These boots are a gem. They are narrow enough in the heel, but leave enough room for my toes without smashing my bunions even with an additional orthodic. They are reasonably fashionable as well. I wear them with skirts, skinny jeans, dresses, you name it. I've had them on ever since I received them from Zappos. I'll wear them until spring comes. Outside of my other Naot boots - these are my go-to footwear. I've worn them through large office complexes, hospitals, the street, parking lots. All without pain.

Loved this boot. Is very comfortable and stylish. I had to return because it would zip all the way up my calf. I never had problem with my calf in knee high boots before, but seems like everything runs smaller in the circumfrence. Wish they had this in a wide version.

I'm a US size 9, and a 40 fit perfectly. In fact, thick socks may make them too tight. I wore them for a night on the town, and they were comfortable right out of the box. The ankle area is pretty stiff but this feels supportive to me, not constraining. The heel height is perfect. I wore them over skinny trousers and was able to zip the shoes up, but there is not much play. YMMV with thick fabric like jeans or corduroy. Love the styling with the brown over black. I went for Naot because you get what you pay for---I love the brand's comfort and quality, and these boots did not disappoint.

This is the first pair of knee-high boots I have ever been able to wear comfortably. I'm extremely picky about shoes, and have no tolerance at all for discomfort. After spending years in high heels, then moving to a job where I can dress comfortably, I've become accustomed to wearing shoes that are comfortable and do not force my toes to join together into a malformed, upside-down 'V' shape. One would think it wouldn't be a difficult task to find such shoes, but I have narrow heels, am slightly wider than average through the toe box, and a need for good arch support. Where knee-high boots are concerned, I have athletic calves, not bony legs. Normal knee-high boots are too tight and uncomfortable. The boots for "wide" calves are too wide and flop around on me, and also look bizarre. Plus, I'm short, so trying to find knee-high boots that don't end up hitting me in the knee is also a pain in the backside. Enter Naot Allure... The description states that this boot is for narrow feet. As I stated, I don't have narrow feet (just narrow heels) and this boot is the perfect width. It's snug through the calf, but fits like a perfectly-sized glove. I can walk in them forever, with absolutely no pain anywhere, despite normally being prone to lower back pain, pain through the balls of my feet, and knees that sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies. In fact, these boots are so comfortable and perfect that I have attempted to wear them in the summer. Unfortunately, Georgia weather is not conducive to wearing knee-high boots in the middle of the summer, unless you enjoy sweating more than you already will from 95-100 degree temperatures. So I have to wait for fall to roll around again before I can return to living in these boots! So, to summarize, for those who got bored with my rambling excitement over these boots: Look: Stunning! You'll get compliments! Dressed up or down, these boots pretty much work with everything. Feel/comfort: Like being wrapped in a cocoon of wonderful and walking on clouds. Fit: If you have athletic calves, they'll still fit. If you have wider than average feet, they'll fit. If you have narrow heels, they won't slip when you walk. However, order up a size. I normally wear a size 7 boot, but had to get a 39 in these boots. They fit perfectly. Value: Yes, they're expensive, but they're well-made and fit well. They're definitely worth the price, in my opinion. Should you get them? YES! Hopefully, you'll love them as much as I do. If not, then Zappos, with their wonderful return policy, will accept them back so you can get something more to your liking. So, really, what do you have to lose?

These boots are perfect. I'm short (5'2") with athletic calves and have always wanted a pair of knee-high boots. Unfortunately, they never seem to work on me. Either they are too high, too tight, or too uncomfortable. The Naot Allure, however, possesses none of those problems. They are comfortable, supportive, and fit like two wonderfully-made foot gloves. As for size, I wear a size 7 (sometimes 7.5, which makes me wonder if my feet are suddenly growing again), and a 38 fit perfectly. My feet are strangely narrow at the heel and arch, while being wider across the toe box, but I had no problem wearing these, even with thicker socks. The arch support is excellent (as is the case with most Naot shoes, I've found), and I can walk in them all day no knee or foot pain. Though I tend to go more for comfort than fashion these days (when your job involves crawling around on the floor and lugging around computers, dressing like you just stepped out of a nightclub doesn't cut it), I have received numerous complements on them. They look good with pants, skirts, jeans, or, my favorite, yoga pants. They also have a tendency to make you want to kick things, or maybe it's just me and my reaction to wearing high boots for the first time in my life. However, they aren't steel-toed, so I wouldn't recommend it!

Stylish and comfy boots! I'm actually on my second pair of these. I wore the first ones for at least 4 years very consistently every fall/winter/spring and when the heel finally gave out, I didn't even hesitate to buy a new pair!

Thanks to all the previous reviews I was able to buy the right size. I usually wear an 8 or 8½ and I bought the 39 size (or 8). They fit perfectly. These boots are super comfortable, even with the heel, which is a plus! They are not only comfortable but pretty stylish.

I am delighted with this boot! I have narrow feet and tried on black boots all over and could not find any to fit. Thank you Zappos and Naot. This boot fits, is so comfortable, and looks fabulous too! It looks great with pants or skirts. I highly recommend this boot.
