while these are very cute, I couldn't get them on. That felt liner is inflexible

These boots are super cute and warm. The fit is totally off though. They run quite small especially for winter boots. Also the backside that runs along the back of your calf seems to rub a lot.

I LOVE the look of these boots but I had to return them because they rubbed a blister on the back of my leg, right above where the rubber and fabric meet. I tried everything, loosening the laces, wearing them around the house to break them in, different socks, but nothing worked. They are beautiful boots but not well designed, so bummed I had to return them. Oh and a friend of mine had the same problem with hers...

I really wanted these boots to be perfect, after seeing all the 5 star reviews I thought these were going to rock. Sadly, the ankle area is far too loose, my heel slips up to the ankle section with every step, even though when standing flat they feel like the right size. I would reorder in a smaller size to see if that would help the fit but as I said, my toe goes right to the end when standing so I think they would be too short if I did that. I am surprised that no one else reported this problem in their reviews. It feels like the foot of the boot has no give which is also a factor into why my heel slips up to the ankle section. Really sad, even though they are super cute, I wish they were made to fit better.

Not all they should be - OK yes, these are cute boots as far as you could call a snow mobile boot cute. I have a large foot and these are huge...I could probably get them on with 3 pairs of socks. I recently moved to the cold and wanted something very warm as I am not used to the cold. Well, when you are moving they are warm but if you stop on wet or cold your feet will get cold (and that was no where near the -40 degrees!!) the top part of the shaft is comfortable but where it connects to the bottom rubber part digs in...perhaps because they are huge...I would have sent these back but I had already worn them before I decided they are not worth the cash...also if you plan on any hills with them- forget it they are clumsy.

Unfortunate blisters - Unfortunately the boot rubs your heel and is pretty uncomfortable. Hopefully, they will work in over time.

Great for keeping feet warm and dry, not good traction - I wanted a tall waterproof boot winter that was cute yet durable. These seem like they will last a long time. I like how chunky they are and have the fake fur trim. Several people have complimented me on these boots. Please note- they run BIG. I have slightly wide feet and always wear a 8 or 8 1/2. I ordered the 8 and they were way too big, even with thick socks. I exchanged them for a 7 and they still have enough room for thick socks. The only thing I don't like is the traction. They are not good on ice, but since they are so warm and cozy, I am just going to get some strap-on ice grippers for when it's really bad. They have been great in the slush and muck and are very warm. They are a little hard to pull off, but I've gotten used to it. BTW, these boots were delivered 36 hours after ordering!

These fit so incredibly weird. They immediately felt too small in the front width of my foot, and barely any room for my toes, yet the heels were so loose my foot was coming up with each step. I ordered my usual size. I tried relaxing and adjusting in various ways and nothing made it any better; they just feel like they are too big and too small at the same time.

I had to size up 1/2 size for the length but the width is just huge. Also the boot is extremely heavy. I was trusting the many good reviews and longevity of this style, but the combination of the really heavy weight and large width makes it difficult to walk. I bought for the supposed warmth but I haven't found them any warmer than more lightweight styles. After wearing these in the winter mountains of Colorado, I'm very disappointed in my purchase and of course can't return them now. I've had good luck with other Sorels in the past but I just don't get the hype over these boots.

For both me and my daughter, the boots were tight across the instep, and sloppy in the heel. Our heels slipped & lifted with every step and I think it would pull any kind of sock down within minutes. Disappointing: I have a 30 yo pair of men's caribou sorels and was hoping to find something a little less clunky for snowshoeing.

I have worn them twice. My low rating is because the heal on both shoes is already showing wear. I would expect better from a boot this expensive. Also, the boot does not fit my foot as well as I would like. It is a bit sloppy. I did contact customer service before buying them to make sure the width would be correct. However, this did not work out either.

I gave it three stars because they are warm but not too warm where you're sweating. They keep your fee t dry too. The 3 star is for the style, weight, design, and advertisement photos. They look like cute boots you could wear out with leggings or jeans. This is not the case. The toe area is wide, like really wide, the boots are really difficult to get on, I've had them 2 years and wear them at least 15 times a season and still have difficulty. They look more "cute" and wearable. I use them to shovel and plow the drive. I could never wear them past that. Too heavy.

these are really nice winter boots, especially for deep snow. very warm and secure. the problem is that if you plan to walk in them for more than 15minutes, it will give you blisters on your ankles as the solid part of shoe doesnt flex well when you walk and its pretty painful.

The fit seemed sloppy. I want a more structured boot when walking in snow and ice. This felt like a croc

I was very excited to get these boots for winter, but as a women with larger calves, these boots are highly uncomfortable. The boot starts to slouch down and creates a painful buckle that bites the back of your Achilles. Sadly these boots will have to be returned.

100% the worst boot purchase I've ever made. I've wanted a pair of Joan of Artic for several years and what a disappointment. I own several pairs of Sorel boots and always wear a size 8. These are huge, slide down, buckle at the ankles and simple do not hold structure (even with the laces as tight as possible). With the slouching, the stitching rides the back of your ankle and causes horrible blisters within minutes. , I had to wear them to learn this and now I have a huge pair of boots I can't wear polluting my closet because they can't be returned. Other than the sizing and fit they appear to be well constructed. Go with the Tivoli or Size down 2 sizes, seriously. How can the sizing be this off??

Nice looking but push your Achilles tendon forward and the toebox is not big enough or long enough. Can't walk well in these they are awkward. Not enough support for the price. They look really stupid unless you have kid sized legs as the fur won't go but halfway around your legs even if you're not quite wide calf. If you have tiny or super small legs you might like them. Definitely not for many people.

Ordered online, received boots promptly. Sorel advises sizing down since boots are cut large. I stayed with my normal boot size and the Sorel's were tight. I could only wear them with light socks, and they were tight across the top of the arch. Returned - which was fairly easy - and ordered a half size larger. Couldn't just exchange them. Had to return one and order the second size. Replacements showed up and fit worse. Felt liner is much thinner than it used to be, and on the boots I got the felt wouldn't even meet at the top of my arch or my ankle. That means in cold only my sock and the leather tongue protect my foot from the outside temp's. Arch of boot was also tight where the tongue is sewn in. Can't comment on durability. Poor fitting on two pair indicate a quality control problem. If you're going to buy these, go into a store and try them on first. When I called to return the second pair Sorel said there was a return fee. Customer service did agree to waive the fee when I talked with them some more about why I was returning the boots. Pity. I used to lover Sorel's.

I like the boots and went half a size up which fit perfectly lengthwise but the width was very wide both in the foot section and the ankle. This mean they rub as I walk which is a shame.

I ordered down a size, as suggested by Sorel. The boots were way too small. They ARE true to size.

The recommendation was that these run large, and you should order down or stay at normal size. I'm usually a 9 or 9.5 so I stuck with a 9. The length of the boot was WAY too short. My toes were scraping the front of the booth. The width was perfect in the foot, but it was also very very wide in the ankle. It felt like my ankle was unsupported and it made the boots look bizarre on my feet. Overall it was uncomfortable to move in.

I bought a pair that's true to my size and they were still small. I paid to return them and ordered a half size up and they still feel small at the toe but are baggy feeling at the ankle so now I'll be spending more money to return them. I'm terrified to reorder a different style because at this point I feel I'm just wasting money on return fees. I had my last pair of Sorel boots for YEARS and was so excited for a new pair. This style seemed as close as I could get to what I had before but the fit is so disappointing. I don't like that it is an insert bootie vs something that's attached and I didn't realize that when I tried on the first pair. Maybe older styles of this boot were great but the current style isn't for me.

Pretty but no support (fits like a rainboot) and runs small, despite the "Fit Tip" to size down. I'm normally a size 8.5. I ordered a 7.5 and an 8 (per the recommendation from Sorel). I received the 8 first, which was too small length-wise. Width-wise it was huge. It fit like a rainboot would. No suport. No good. These went straight back. Didn't even bother trying on the 7.5, although was charged to return them.
