I had to return them. I wore around house to see how the fit was and my heel slipped badky and it hurt quite a bit. Felt comfortable and warm but way to uncomfortable in ankle.

These are exactly what I've been looking for. I tend to have cold fingers and toes and these boots have done a fantastic job of keeping them warm. We had a negative degree cold snap recently and these babies pulled through. I probably would still need to use toe warmers if I was out in really cold weather for the whole day but these have faired much better than others. They are heavy duty without weighing down my feet, very comfortable and so cute! They aren't exactly slip on boots and do require a bit of effort but you just have to loosen the ties at the bottom and they easily tighten right back up. Probably helps with a smug fit. I ordered my true size and they fit prefect with thick socks.
Well worth the money and I have very happy!

In my other Sorrel boots I am a Size 9, but based on reviews that these boots run big I sized down to 8.5 and they fit great! Love them! Kept my feet warm and toasty when walk my dogs every morning in single digit temps!

I normally wear a size 10 and that's what I ordered. Once I got them on, which was no small feat even after untying all the laces and pulling and pushing and sweating and cussing the boots fit as far as the toe box but gapped in the back around my ankles. They were VERY heavy and I felt my legs would be fatigued if I had to walk anywhere in them. The workmanship was gorgeous and I would have liked to like them, but the comfort just wasn't there for me.

Love these boots!
I normally wear a 7.5 in Sorel boots. I live in Chicago and it has been brutally cold this winter. I ordered an 8 to accommodate my thick Carhartt winter socks. -9 wind chill the other morning and my feet did not get cold while digging my car out of the snow or when walking a few blocks from my parking spot to job.

These boots are warm and protective and heavy and good for shovelling snow or standing at a bus stop and commuting in Chicago slush. They are not good for walking or driving so I am returning these boots only because they are not comfortable for fitness walking. I am keeping the Joan Next boots by Sorel that are perfect. I ordered a size 10 which was also perfect for both Sorels. My Merrill leather boots are a 9 1/2 for reference. Also I ordered gray merino Superfeet and put them in the Joan Next boots and those really help support my feet.

I bought this boot over a month ago and have been really pleased with them. I have another pair in a different color. I ordered the same size and found that I needed to size up by 1/2 size to allow for warm socks. Love the monotone color. The fur really holds up to wear. They are a little heavier if you're wearing for longer walks.

Why on earth do the photos show the fur going all the way around the boot. There is no fur on the tongue so when I put them on the fur does not connect and it’s open and looks awkward. They were comfortable enough. I wish they looked like the photo I saw. Or all other sorels. Returned. Unhappy with the look

Love these boots! I have bad circulation especially to my feet in the winter so my feet are always cold in all my other winter boots but not anymore these do the trick they are a little heavy/clunky but they are so cute and comfy and WARM so it's ok.

This boot was very challenging to get my foot into, even after loosening up the laces. When I finally got my foot to pop in the boots fit great. Again, the challenge was to get my foot back out of the boot. I also found the boots to be kind of heavy and clunky for my taste.

It is sad to 1see that Sorel promotes quality, when in fact in this q emergency weather didn't hold up to the most minimal standards. My husband's boots literally exploded while wearing them once.

i do not love these at all. i refer to them as my "clown boots" because they are so huge in the toe area they look clownish. and they are SO HARD TO PUT ON. they are nothing like my original pair of Sorel's of the same model, but several years old. the boots have gone downhill looks and functionality IMO. probably a mistake to have kept them, but needed them for a trip and ran out of time to get another pair. somewhat regret that given they are not cheap.
