BEST snow boot! I live in the snowiest city in the US. These boots keep my feet warm and dry all winter long (and it’s a looonnngg winter here). I wear them walking and snowshoeing. This is my second pair. The first pair lasted ten years and could have gone longer, but I wanted some fresh ones. These are not sneakers. These are snow boots made for snow. If you want a pair of low boots that feel like sneakers try Sorel Explorer Joan of Arctic. If you need snow boots, buy these!

These boots are amazing! I almost went for a cheaper style of sorels but after reading all the reviews I’m so happy I went for the splurge! These boots keep me warm and more importantly dry!! I work for usps and I have to report to work no matter what the weather is so if there’s any snow or rain I don’t leave the house without them!! I will say the instep in these is a little narrow but I have narrow feet so it wasn’t an issue for me.

Originally I ordered these in a 10 which is my normal size but was unable to get my foot in the boot. I have a wide foot and couldn’t get my foot into it at all. Zappos customer service helped me exchange them for a 10.5. I was able to slip into them easily. They are so comfortable. I can’t wear a super thick sock in them but I don’t need to since they are so warm. I’m very excited for these boots. These will work great for winter here in Chicago and our place in Wisconsin.

I wanted so badly to love these because they are so cute, but they rubbed and bent at a spot on the back of my ankle that I just couldn't ignore. Had to send back

I live in an area with heavy snow near Lake Tahoe and was looking for a stylish, warm boot with good wet protection and traction for daily use. These boots are lovely. They are waterproof. But ...they are stiff and run large. I wear a 8 1/2 in all shoes but size 9 running shoes. My feet are quite wide and I have thick calves. So, I ordered a size 9, B-medium based on reports from others that the shoe runs wide and large. Even still, and when wearing thick wool socks, the boots are quite large and wide. Also they don't taper around the ankle and the material is stiff and make pulling the laces tight a challenge ...so my foot/ankle moves swims inside the boot. That makes the boots heavy and a bit tiring on even short walks. They fit my calves fine. Maybe they will loosen up and get less stiff over time and I can tighten the laces more? I hope so. The traction is OK. Not awesome. They are very warm. Its a bit of a bother to lace them up tight (no way to "slip in"). The thick rubber bottom is awesome for walks in soft snow/mud/muck. They have zero arch support (maybe if they fit better I would feel it but as is, zero support) so I will add something. I will keep them. But I won't make them my "go to" boot, they lack the comfort for that.

Because of the construction of the leather inside the boot, I could not even get my foot in the boot. I was very disappointed as they were cute boots.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! After reading the reviews about fit, I bought both a 9 (my usual size) and a 9 1/2 (since reviews said to size up). Needless to say I kept my usual size 9. This boot is super warm and does not need a thick sock. It kept my feet dry while I shoveled snow for 3 hours and was super comfortable. Yes..it is a little difficult to put them on, however, if you loosen the laces it is not a problem at all. I did brush the faux fur top if the boots with a dog brush so it wouldn’t dry all funky. They look straight out of the box after 2 weeks and alot of NorthEast snow! Highly recommend.. you will love them!
