I typically wear a size 8 in tennis shoes and boots. In these winter boots, I had to size up to an 8.5. I've had these boots for about four years now. They are holding up well (no holes or rips), but you can definitely tell that they are well-worn. I need to add more shoe inserts as there is little support left. I basically live in an arctic tundra so from October to April I'm wearing snow boots.

True sizing, fit perfectly according to the shoe size I normally purchase. Very comfortable and warm! The only thing that would've helped is for instructions on whether or not the suede looking part needs to be sprayed with a protection coat

Order a full size up. The tongue is too short, and there are no lace holes to close the top fur area. Basically this is a low calf boot, though it looks tall. You cannot walk in deep snow in it.

I drove 5 hours to a ski area in my old boots, in excruciating pain due to a bunion that grew during the pandemic. I hadn't wore the old boots in almost 2 years. Bought the Sorel Caribous as soon as I got to town and am amazed at the instant comfort and pain relief, so much that I didn't want to take them off. Great product, would highly recommend for painful feet.

This was my first pair of Sorel boots. I've had them for about a month now and have worn them a number of times on dog walks and when running errands. They did need to be broken in a as they felt stiff near the ankle area the first few times especially when driving my truck. They're comfy once broken in. They're also warm. So far the weather has been rainy, windy and near 20F degrees. I have a wide foot and always have issues with shoes being too narrow. These Sorel Joan of Arctic boots offer ample room for my wide foot even with thick winter socks. Chicago hasn't had snow yet, but I'm confident these will not disappoint. For reference, the widest part of my foot, when standing is about 4 inches (10cm) wide and I purchased a size 8 boot.

Very comfortable boots that will keep your feet warm and dry in the snow. They do run true to size or just a little big. Perfect for thick socks. Don't size up!

I have always loved Sorel boots. These are now my fav! Super warm yet your feet don't get hot when you have to be inside. The fit is true to size. Winter here has been 30 - 40 degrees and I still haven't needed a heavy sock.

Always love these boots ! I've notice they have made them a bit softer more flexible. Staple winter boot always. I also just purchased the conquest so far sporty comfortable and warm !

I purchased these boots early on in the season because I was so excited about them and the reviews and wanted to be sure to get a pair before they sold out. The sizing chart said to order a size smaller because they run a bit big. This is completely false and misleading and inaccurate. They run VERY small. I ordered a 7.5 and need an 8 or an 8.5 which are all now out of stock. This is very upsetting as I listened to what the website told me and spent a great deal of money on these boots. Now I am out of luck and have to go through the annoying hassle of returning the boots because the company did not correct their misleading information. Now I don't have winter boots and they are sold out everywhere.

The description states that the boots run big and there is plenty of room for thick socks and recommends to size down if in between sizes. I'm a solid 7.5 but disregarded their instructions and ordered a 7.5 anyway. I could barely get my foot in and my big toe was touching the top of the shoe! I'm seriously debating if I'll need an 8... or an 8.5. I've never bought an 8.5 in my life. It's so frustrating because I don't want to go through the return and repurchase process (Sorel doesn't offer exchanges). Very frustrating situation to be in for an expensive pair of boots. Sorel, please seriously do some QA on your sizing or at least update your description to say your boots run extremely small.
