I wear a size 7 in all of my shoe styles. However, my Sorel Size 7's are a bit too big. They're fine for a short trek through the snow, but they feel heavy after a while and become cumbersome to walk in. This year, I purchased a size 6. The reviewer who mentioned the liner being the issue is correct. Without the liner, the size 6 fits great. With the liner, my toes just touch the edge of the shoe. The boots are warm, they stay dry, and they continue to look brand new. If Sorel could adjust the liners inside, I could give this a 5-star rating. Not all Sorel's run big! I also have the Snow Angel in a Size 7. It's been discontinued, but the Torino looks just like my Snow Angels, and they fit perfectly. This boot is shorter, does NOT have a liner, and is lighter. It's still a very warm boot, and my favorite pair.

Got my boots today. I ordered them in my normal size 8. It was miserable trying to get them on. Too tight. So tight that once I finally got them on, my feet started going numb. I do have wide feet, but not that wide. I finally managed to pull them off and was about box them back up to return them, when I remembered they had liners inside. I pulled the liners out and tried the boots on again. Was thrilled to realize that the boots were not only perfectly comfortable, but too big, just like the reviews said they would be. So I tried on the liners without the boots. They were tight and difficult to get in and out of. The liners are the problem. So I plan to keep my wonderful boots and find another solution for liners. Otherwise, the boots are very attractive and obviously well made.

I LOVE my Caribous but they are WAY too big. I got them about 2-3 years ago and didn't get around to sending them back for a smaller size. I wish I had. They are super warm and very comfortable boots but I think they would be even warmer and more comfortable if they were smaller. I got a women's 8 (which is the size I wear in tennis shoes) but should have maybe gotten a women's 7. These boots are great quality and still look as new as when I first got them and I wear them a lot.

We have worn Sorel boots for 26 years. We wear them in West Yellowstone, which many times is the coldest spot in the nation. They are warm and toasty. Love that the liners can be pulled out of the boot to dry out the boot. We just bought a new pair after 10 years. Not happy with the new design of the liner though. I liked the split front not the elastic front on the liners. Makes it very difficult for a person with a wide foot and high arch to get into the liners, but once the liner is on no problem.

Bottom part of boot not thick as it appears. You can feel the ground through the boot

The boots run to small, I read on the Website to size down a full size and I only did it 1/2 a size, but they were to small. There are also very heavy.

Ultimately I ended up returning these. The boot is bulky, heavy and stiff. It is difficult to get the tongue to sit flush . I never got the tongue on the right shoe to not bunch up and put pressure on the shin. This looks like quality leather and build; however the boot is really stiff and heavy. I like the looks of the boot and I am sure they are warm, but I could not wear these for an extended time. I wore them around the house a couple of times to give them a fair shot and really wanted to keep them, but they are just a really uncomfortable shoe and I ended up returning them. I was surprised given all the rave reviews and recommendations of this boot that can be found on the internet. I also ordered a size 7 as I could not find my normal size of 6.5 and the fit was weird. Should have felt large, but even with thin socks felt narrow. Lengthwise despite being a larger size felt like it was the right size, so my guess is these run really small. I love Sorel, but this is my second failure trying to find a good winter boot from Sorel. The last boot I sized up 1.5 sizes to get it to fit my foot, but by doing so, there was a huge gap in the ankle.

Boot is high quality as usual but seems to run very small. I have several pairs of Sorel boots in 7.5 but in these I have already bought and returned both a 7.5 and an 8 because they were both too small

I was impressed with the warm lining and burly sole of these boots, but the stiffness of the boot irritated my ankles when I tried them on, so I returned them. I typically wear a size 7 shoe and got these in a 6.5 after trying them on in-store. The 6.5 was a little big... in just the right way for a boot like this that I'd wear with thick socks.

These boots were very snug and warm and so comfortable, but even though I ordered down a half size to a 7 1/2, they made my feet look enormous! I felt like I was wearing giant man boots! I decided to return for the more feminine looking Joan of Arctics.

The boot are quality. However, they are very heavy! They are difficult to remove, even when places are loosened. The toe area is wide and clunky, pressing both the gas and brake pedal in my car at the same time! I now have to hold my right boot at certain angles to engage only the gas or brake pedals. I wish the boots were generally more comfortable and they cannot be returned.

Purchased the Sorel Men's Caribou boot based upon past Sorel performance. This boot does an adequate job as winter snow boots go. As an EMS provider in snowmobile rescue I depend on my equipment to get the job done. When active and moving about this boot does what it's supposed to do; if I'm stationary (ie-waiting on scene) my feet start to get cold. I will make modifications in regards to the liner and insole to address this issue.

I recently bought a new pair of Caribou boots (my old ones lasted for almost 20 years!!). I bought the same size and so far they are much narrower than my old pair. I hope they break-in with more use.

These boots look very cute and keep my feet warm. I live where there is snow for most of the winter, so I usually just throw on my boots to run to the store, etc. They are really not that comfortable to walk around in. They rub against my calf and it just feels awkward and clunky.

I really want to love these shoes. I feel like I am the only person that has sizing issues? I ordered 2 pairs: my size and a half size down and I'm swimming in them. Hoping the 3rd pair fit correctly.

I bought these for trips to snowy areas, Massachuchets and Colorado. They did the job, but I would not recommend this style for others. I found the boot to be very heavy and hard to tie tightly. Additionally, it fit great everywhere except the toe are. It narrows greatly at the toes in the inside liner. Had the liner been a touch larger in the toe area, the boot would fit great. It was however great at keeping my feet dry!

I just bought my second pair so I have no idea how this pair will do. The last pair were great and lasted 7 years. Unfortunately, the evaluation is requested even before it has adequately snowed here. Whoever is sending out the requests for reviews needs to take a look at the weather and send out the request for reviews after adequate weather has taken place to confirm the quality. It's stupid to write a review of an untested product, and that's what the review program is asking of me.

This seems to be great for really snowy winters. They're very insulated with a thick sole that will protect feet from the ground but be prepared to lug around a very heavy boot. It's incredibly heavy but I guess that's necessary to be effective. I didn't keep them as I don't think that's necessary for NY but if you live someplace north these would be great

These boots are absolutely gigantic. They not only run large in sizing, but are also just big and bulky. I ended up returning them due to sizing, but even if they had fit, I would not have kept them.
