Great jacket and great service from Zappos. This thing weighs next to nothing and yet it keeps me super warm with only a t-shirt on beneath it - and this is in 5 degree weather.

This is the greatest coat ever. Very light weight but warm. Husband is 6'3 and the XL is a perfict fit (arm length is great).

This is a very, very comfortable jacket. The fact that it's filled with dawn makes it warm but not too warm on cool days. It's also extremely light so you can fold it into a small pouch and store it away in a small place. The color is quite nice too. Being a Patagonia, however, it is a bit over-priced in my opinion. Patagonia products are usually pricier than The North Face (for no apparent reason), so if you can find a comparable North Face jacket go for it--it'd be just a comfy. :)

I bought it as a Christmas present for my husband, who loves it. It is very comfortable, extremely light and warm. He is 5'9" and weighs about 160 pounds and fits the medium. It is a big roomy in the midsection and not as streamlined as other brands that I have seen, but roomy enough to wear layers underneath, if needed.

I bought this coat at REI for more, and of course it went on sale for ess a month later. I was able to get the sale price after the sales person gave me a guilt trip when I threatened to return it if they didn't adjust the price. I love this coat! I live in Michigan where the outside temp yesterday morning was 11 below zero. I went outside to start my car with a cotton t-shirt underneath, and I was very warm, I could not feel any hint of cold coming through. Whats also super nice is the fact that you don't get hot inside when shopping so it was the perfect coat for holiday shopping as I tend to get quite cranky when I overheat in the department stores. It weighs practically nothing and has a handy inside pocket (hello North Face). The grey color I bought goes with everything but I wish I bought the black also. I brag about this coat to anyone who will listen, so yes its a recommend.

This is a great jacket, lightweight and surprising warm in cold weather. I plan to buy my 2 boys this jacket for Christmas. Also--I am confused as to why you would call this a sweater.

At 5'7" 130 lbs the small was a bit big, but an XS that I bought from a different site gave me more of a a fitted look that makes this jacket look really good. As for the warmth, today it was around -20 windchill outside here in Minnesota and I felt fantastic with this on, so definitely a thumbs up there.

Best jacket I own. Was skeptical at first but my son had one and wears it everywhere. Great product by Patagonia!

Bought this for my boyfriend. He's an average medium size, but this medium is too big. Will try a Small size. He's looking for more of a slim fit look!

I used this to climb Kilimanjaro and it was great. I wore it under my Gore-Tex outer shell.

Could not believe how lightweight it is. It feels like your wearing a very light t shirt. Keeps you warm in our cool Pacific Northwest weather and looks even better than the pictures portray. I have bought a number of products from Zappos and the service is first rate.

My boyfriend is hard to shop for, but he loved this coat for the cold days in NYC this year. He can put a sweater on underneath for added warmth. It looks good as well.

I bought this Jacket for my son as a gift! To say I'm popular is an understatement; he loves it! As a surfer in New England and Skiier all over he gives it a good workout. Packing easily and doubling as pillow it's the swiss army knife of warm good looking outerwear.

Incredible wearing this jacket. So simple, functional, and easy to deal with. I have this jacket with me at all times. I was amazed at how it felt lighter than a ss t-shirt. Great for blocking wind and feels like you're walking in a sleeping bag. Super cozy and great Patagonia quality. The rip-stop fabric has been surprisingly durable. I have Hickory which is similar to an olive green. I wish I would've gotten brown. Buy this jacket if you want a solid go-to year round.

I bought this jacket primarily for travel since it is warm and stores easily. I found myself using it more than expected as it is perfect for a wide range of outdoor temperatures. I bought a large and it fits perfectly (I am a 44 reg). I recommend it highly.

I bought this down sweater for my husband. He already has two others. I actually have 4 in different colours. I have also bought several for family members. I love this jacket. They are incredibly warm but light and fold down into my handbag. I always take one when travelling, skiing or hiking.

Great buy! Outrageously light; exceptionally warm. Works well as an outer layer or as additional warmth as a mid-layer, depending on the conditions. It is also super compressible, capable of being stuffed into one of its own pockets.

I love this coat, very light, but extremely warm. My heavy leather coat will stay in the closet. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

I ordered 8 down sweaters as Christmas gifts for my children and grands. Actually 7 as gifts and a 2nd one for myself...that's how much I love this jacket! I loved my original one which I bought last year. Everyone loved their gift and they are so good looking and comfortable. Free shipping and return made it easy to return the ones that did not fit correctly. I ordered them a new one same time as I was returning the old one. Next day the replaced one would be here. Love Zappos.

I purchased this jacket in red in size L for my 13-year-old son for Christmas. He is big for his age - 5'10" and approximately 150 lbs. The jacket is roomy but as he's still growing I wanted it big. He loves it and has worn it nearly daily since Christmas. It is the perfect weight for Seattle for 3 seasons, really. (I was already sold on the jacket as I have the women's version in black and wear it all the time, and my teen daughter has it in Charcoal.) It is so "breathable" and provides a lot of warmth - but not too much - without bulk. Worth the money for a nice quality jacket that will be passed down to the cousins eventually. Also the red color is perfect - a true red, not too orange, or too dark. A nice "Norwegian flag" red.

Bought this for my husband's birthday and he loves it. He says it's weightless but super warm, even with just a t-shirt under it. On really cold days (say, in the 20's - 30's), he adds another lightweight down jacket and is very comfortable. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made for him. He wears a 15 1/2" 34-35" shirt, and a medium in this Patagonia sweater fits him perfectly. Oh, and Zappos is awesome!

This gorgeous down sweater was too big for my husband who takes a 38 short in a suit. Wish Patagonia made a smaller men's size.

Wore this jacket throughout our recent trip to Alaska. With an underlayer, I was warm in temps in the mid 30's. And it looked great as well. I highly recommend this jacket.

Perfect for those colder fall days or early winter. It compresses down very small to fit into any of my fly-fishing bags. It fits fine under my Simms G4 pro guide jacket providing lots of warmth without the bulk. It does pickup dirt and the oils in your skin kind of darken it around the cuffs and collar but that adds to the patina. When washing you definitely need to dry with 2 tennis balls to help it regain its loft. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
