I wanted to love these- they are so soft and supple. However the buckle at the top that I fell in love with online was not as cute, as the boot is slouchy. Fit was spot on.

Typical Frye high quality, these are very well made boots. They are pretty much true to size, tending the teeniest bit toward narrow. My foot tends toward the wider end of medium width, and these boots still fit, though a bit tightly, in my regular size. I know they will stretch, and they were comfortable out of the box, so I kept the ones in my size. A half size up was noticeably too big, so order your true size and these boots should fit. There is no arch support in these boots, so if you want to add an orthotic arch support, you might want to go up a half a size.

I was delighted to get these boots in whiskey on sale! They are a wonderful shade, not too orange, pretty neutral and will go with so many outfits, from skirts to dresses to skinny jeans to boot fit. I wear 6.5 in nikes but 6 in frye flats and in these the 6 was perfect with a thin wool sock, but will also be great barefoot when it's hot and my feet swell a tiny bit. They honestly required no break in, were comfy from first slide in, but my feet were a little sore after wearing for 5 hours straight and standing and cooking for Thanksgiving. My feet are usually tired after being on them for that long anyway so I think the boots weren't at fault. Loved so much that I'm saving for another pair!!

Ahhhh-mazing! Perfect right out of the box. Runs true to size. Leather is sooooo soft. Five stars!

I was looking for a low heeled or flat boot that would be comfortable to wear while walking around town. I ordered several different styles of Frye engineer boots to try. The Veronica shortie was by far the most comfortable. It was a little loose across the instep, but I was able to tighten up the strap across the top of the foot for a better fit. I also tightened the strap across the top of the boot one notch, since I have narrow calves. There is a little slippage in the heel, but nothing that a medium thickness sock did not resolve. I love the look of these boots with skinny jeans and leggings. Not sure if I would wear with a dress or skirt, but might consider it if I were younger. Love the quality of Frye boots. The vintage leather is very soft on the top of the boot and slouches a little, which I think adds to the look. Very happy with my purchase, and with Zappos excellent service.

I bought these for my wife as a present. SHE LOVES THEM!! The fit was perfect. The Fry Veronica Shortie has a perfect shaft length for my petite (5'3") wife as it is not too short and not too tall. New pull-on boots will slip slightly on the heel until they are worn enough. Then, the heel will fit perfectly. Keep that in mind when ordering pull-on boots. Great price on a outstanding Frye product!

Loved them! BUt, I ordered two pair, different styles, and can only keep one. Sorry but I have to send them back. They are a beautiful boot!

Beautiful boot!!! I have been searching for a pair of boots for my odd shape for a long time. I had given up home of having a great boot that was the style and shape that I imagined in my head until the frye Veronica. I'm 5 ft tall and have large short calves, no tall boots work on me, this boot was the perfect height and calve opening. Only downsize is I ordered a too large of a size. I typically wear a 6.5 and ordered a 7 based on reviews, should have stayed true to size. As always Zappos customer service was awesome and I have an exchange on its way. Hope this review will help someone. This is an awesome boot for short people

Haven't had a chance to wear them yet but they are very cute, hit at a good spot just between ankle/calf. I almost always wear an 8.5 in shoes and boots (sometimes a 9) and I needed an 8 in these.

My first pair of Frye boots. Looove them!! I ordered a size 6 and they're perfect.

I was so excited to get these but so dismayed when I couldn't get my feet into them (even after unbuckling the top strap)!!! Wish I'd known to order a size up! Returning for a taller style, bigger size (fingers crossed)!

THE perfect boot! Super comfy and stylish. They go with EVERYTHING! Look FAB with my all of my LuLaRoe leggings, skirts, and dresses! I bought the Grey Soft Vintage:)

These boots were really comfortable right out of the box. They were true to size, and the leather is beautiful (vintage soft black leather). I get lots of compliments on these.

I love my Veronica Shortie! Tried my usual size (10) first, and they were uncomfortably tight all over. Sadly, no 10.5 available, so I went with the 11 and they are fine with a heavier sock. The heel slips just a little, but I think my foot will eventually mold into the heel cup. The uppers on these are SO SOFT. and they are darling with leggings and skinny jeans.

These are my favorite boots! I've had a pair since 2008 and I just purchased a pair of full height Veronica in black. They're comfortable and have been since I got them. The quality is outstanding - I don't think I'll ever buy another brand of boots.

Definitely runs large like other reviewers said...exchanging for a 9. Beautiful color and seem like they will be comfy!
