Satisfied First-timer - The Keen sandals (Newport H2) are a perfect urban summer option. The ease and immediacy of Zappo.Com makes doing business likely and soon.

I really like them. As an adult with small wide fit they really it the bill. I have 2 issues: 1) Each pair is cut/sewn a little different. I always order more than one to find the most comfortable fit and 2) they generally do not last more than 2 summers - sections of the top separate from the base. I suppose this could be because I'm not a kid but it is disappointing that they don't hold up summer after summer. Otherwise I love that you can rinse them clean, they are very comfortable even after a full day of wearing and protect my feet.

These are a summer staple. They are easy for my son to get on and are rugged enough for camp and light hiking. Nice thing is that he always outgrows them before they wear out so we can always pass them along for someone to get another summers worth of wear out of them!

Son really liked and wanted these, but they seem to run about a half size too small.

These are seriously great shoes, especially for camping/hiking. That said, your feet will sweat and they stink after a few months.

Pretty good durable sandals for boys

I bought these for my 10 year old for a trip to Disney. We've had KEENs before and love them for the support while walking all around the parks while at the same time allowing feet to breathe and dry quickly when they get wet (water rides, rain, etc). When he first put them on he didn't like how they felt. However, we had him wear them around the house for an hour or so to break them in and after doing that he loved them. So, if your little one complains at first, have them walk around and get the shoes to loosen up before making a final judgement.

I love Keen period. They are the most comfortable shoe or sandal I have every owned. I have a small foot, so I save money! The only problem I have with these is my little toe and my left foot rubs the side a bit. This is not enough to return (in my mind) I will keep adjusting until I get it right and THEN if I can't I will send them back. That's something else I like no love about Zappos!

Our kids love these shoes and get upset when we put them away for winter. Only issue is that five months in, the webbing tore on one shoe (first time that happens!). Thanks to Zappos for the replacement!

These are solid shoes, they run a little small. I have bought five pairs for my boys over the years and they love them. Sometimes the nylon webbing material starts to fray, depending on the design. They offer good toe protection, ventilation and ankle support. However, they run at least half to a full size small, so I always order bigger.

These are great shoes but they seem to run small. Got my son a size 1 when the 13 was just a tad too small. It's a little big, but with straps and cord, you can adjust it a little. Should be okay and begin to fit better as the summer goes on.

For 7 years consecutively I have bought the Newport H2 Keens for my 2 sons. Obviously they find them extremely comfortable for everything active boys do. In the summer they are perfect - from swimming to tennis, to hiking and climbing even to church after a washing! Can't go wrong at all. I must add that in the beginning they were much more durable. Even though my boys still insist on a new pair each summer, I have noticed that their last 2 years of Keens have not made it as hand-me-downs like the original Newport H2 would. Disappointed in this area - materials on back and the soles must be thinner and cheaper than the original construction.
