Great working shoe - I am a Master Scuba Diving Trainer, on the boat, hauling tanks etc...and these shoes really hold up while offering me toe protection as well as comfort.

Great Shoe - This has been one of the best sandals I have ever purchased. As someone who always has preferred more total foot coverage, this has been a great design to discover. It fits very snugly, without feeling too restrictive. My only gripe with this shoe is the footbed has lateral grooves underneath your feet, to assist in draining. These grooves love to gather sand and small stones, in the water and out. If you don't pay attention to this, especially out of the water, a hot spot can quickly develop. Fortunately, in the water, a quick swish of your foot will flush this out.

Pros and Cons - For walking around Magic Mountain or Disneyland I give these a 10+. These shoes let your feet breath and they look modern and masculine. Masculine because most sandals can't help but look feminine. For my office job (casual) I rate these a 4 on a scale of 10. While I sit still in the office my feet sweat in these (not wearing socks) and I felt uncomfortable. Even in a cool office.

Excellent! These are by far the best pair of shoes I've ever owned. Comfortable, Good Looking and Versatile. They do well on the trail and on the street. Once again I am impressed not only by the shoe, but Zappos as well.

Sea Turtle Man - I work at the Boston Aquarium, where floors are slick, treacherous, and at times, smelly. These Keens give me secure footing and I hose them down after work to leave that fishy smell behind. I wear them all the time! Great shoe!

Kewel Keens - The color is awesome. They suffice as a sport shoe, yet can be worn to work in an office on casual days.

The best sandals ever! I broke my leg in Dec. 2004. I bought my Keen's Newport H2 in June and I only take them off when I go to sleep!! Excellent support and comfort.

My story is like the founder of Zappos - I am an REI member and decided to get a pair of these after seeing they might fill the bill of a good watersports, casual, All-around-town shoe. When I went to REI I wanted the Newport H2 in a 12, but they didn't have it, only the Newport in a 11.5 and a 12. The 11.5 fit better than the 12, but had a manufacturing defect in that the strap spacing was not symmetrical from the left shoe to the right and thus the fit was different from one foot to the other. So I took them back to REI. They didn't have another 11.5 so I took the 12, but they still didn't have the H2. I took the 12s home and within an hour of wearing them I had a cramp in my foot due to the Newport 12 (not the H2) not fitting my foot correctly, so I took them back. At this point I had fit and tried every Keen's sandal in stock that REI had and hit a dead end. Quite by accident I found Zappos and decided that their free shipping and free return shipping coupled with the chance that they had in stock what I wanted was worth giving them a try. My Newport H2s arrived in 2 days and fit perfectly. They just work! The experience was so pleasant in fact that my wife ordered a pair of Keen's in a different style. We ordered last night and they are being delivered today. That's less than 24 hours! It doesn't get better than this. Thanks Zappos!

The best ever - Kudos to the Zappos team! I placed my order online and had it in just a little more then 24 hrs. That's awesome ! The Keen Newport H2s I got are the most comfortable, true to size sandals I've ever owned. I live on the southeast coast and walk my dogs on the beach alot and these sandals are absolutely perfect. Keep up the good work.

Great Investment - I have always been a Teva person, but I have been converted. These are the best. I now use them for everything, boating, fishing and even working out.

An amazing hybrid - A family member was raving about these shoe/sandal hybrids at the last family holiday gathering and so I decided to give them a try and I certainly have no regrets! This shoe allows your feet to breathe, has great support and comfort, good arch, and are even waterproof, everything you should expect from a hybrid. The only negative I have is the H2 is rather heavy compared to shoes I normally wear, but that's not enough to bring the score down for me. No more sweaty feet for me thanks to Keen's Newport H2s!

Awesome sport sandal - Trust me on this one....I'm not a sandal guy normally but this is the one to change all of that. I bought these to wear to the parks this summer hanging with my kids. Disney, Universal and Busch Gardens. Let me tell you these are the best shoes I've ever worn on HOT days walking a lot. They are very supportive, comfortable and easy on your eyes. They are waterproof too so you can get on the water rides with no problem. I'm a big guy and these work great. Buy them and you won't be disappointed...and even if you are Zappos has the best return policy on the planet. Do it...

A Winner - The versatility and comfort are terrific. It has become my favorite footwear.

Love them - Other than sizing them up a half-size more than usual they're just totally comfortable, very supportive, and the enclosed toe gives lots of safety.

Reviewing Keen Newport H2 - I had seen a female friend wearing the same shoe, and I was in the market for a sandal. Two years ago I had an accident where I crushed my left heel and sloughed off a piece of tibia on my right leg. I had worn sandals frequently and was concerned that I would not be able to wear them again. Then I saw the Newport H2 and decided, after reading reviews, to try it. I did order it 1/2 size larger than I normally take, and I was wise to do this. The shoe fits perfectly and I am very pleased with my purchase. Zappos.com delivered the shoe in record time! I would use purchase this shoe again using Zappos.com.

Keen Newport H2 - AWESOME SANDAL! I bought these for a camping trip in the Smoky mountains. They were excellent in the river and just as good walking around in. Very comfortable. Very stable. I'm glad I got them from Zappos. Best price and the BEST customer service anywhere!!!

Love my Keen Newport H2s - Okay, these take a little getting used to. . .especially the looks. However, I wore them straight out of the box without breaking them in at all and had no problems. They are extremely comfortable. A little difficult to get on, but no more so than most shoes. They are NOT what you would want if you are going to take them on and off often. If you want a nice comfortable "shoe" to wear this summer, you can't go wrong with this one.

Tennessee River Foot Hold - This is a great shoe to get out and about in the water. Excellent traction gives the shoe grip at the marina and boat deck. The rocks don't have a chance at getting to your feet when you beach the boat on the sand and gravel. Fully covered rubber toe holds up to occasional bumps and dings from anchor, chairs, coolers, etc. The shoe also looks great! What more could you ask for this summer?

AWESOME SERVICE! I rate the shoe at a 5+ (already owned a pair and knew they were a good shoe), but I give Zappos.com a 10 for quality, service, shipping, price and ease of navigation for the website. My husband LOVES his new Keens - I got these shoes for my husband for his birthday - he LOVES them. As soon as he got them, we went out for a one-hour dog walk. He said he has no blisters, no hot spots. He has high arches, but felt he got enough support. He loves that they are cool, like sandals, but still protect his toes. He also likes that they are waterproof. He's been encouraging me to get a pair for myself.

You Will Never Take Them Off - These shoes were made for walking...and biking, and kayaking, and hanging out. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Now my husband has a pair, and the girl down the street. I tell everyone about them and the news is spreading. I have high arches and this is the first shoe to really energize my feet. When I take a long walk I always want to go even longer. If you can only afford one new pair of shoes, these are the one pair to buy. Order a half size up.

great shoes - My husband has broken the bones in his feet as a child and he has a great deal of difficulty finding comfortable shoes. He loved his keen shoes. Wore them all the time on the beach, hiking and shopping with me.

Great Sandal and great service - I was not sure what to expect when I ordered these. I was looking for something with more support and a sandal that protected the toes more. I was very impressed with the fit of these sandals. I was able to walk an entire day with no discomfort at all. I would recommend the Keen's Newport H2 to anyone. I would also like to comment that the service at Zappos was amazing. The experience of buying shoes at Zappos is much better than any other on line store, and even better than going to a shoe store.

Complete Satisfaction - This shoe is just what I was looking for. Great protection for the toes, lot's of ventilation, comfortable fit, waterproof, and durable. Size was 1/2 size small. But no big deal. New ones in 2 days, and returning the first order was free. Customer service was great also! I'll be ordering again...soon.
