First the good stuff about this boot: It's made VERY well. It's EXTREMELY warm and soft. The shearling is obviously of the highest quality. Great looking boot. The bad stuff: Felt full size smaller than marked, a huge pain to get on and off with all the laces. Ugg should consider using hooks instead for the laces. The shorter version may be a bit easier to manage but hard to find. Lucky for me Zappos has a great return policy! I'm disappointed that my first pair of Uggs didn't work out but I'm willing to shop some more...

Cute.... but a pain.... I think these are really cute boots (and expensive). However, they are a real pain to get onto your feet. You need to unlace them really far, and the laces are too short. They also seem to run a bit small for a winter boot. My feet are true 9's and they barely fit in these. Luckily Zappos is the best place ever and you don't get stuck with something that you are unhappy with!

After reading reviews about the warmth of this boot, I ordered a pair. Disappointed. As a hunter, my feet still got cold. I would not recommend for extended period of time in the cold.

Bulky, Clunky and Heavy - A lot heavier and clunky than I expected. These boots are completely lined with the shearling and I had to order a size up since I prefer to wear a sock. Really, only buy these boots if you're going to be trekking through snow for hours. Problem with finding the right pants to wear too since the top of the boot is bulky. The laces are also too cumbersome.

This shoe is not waterproof which is why I bought it in the first place I am so bummed I spent nearly $300 on a snow boot that gets soaking wet on the inside. Ugh! At first i loved this boot its super cozy and warm and light... finally got a chance to test them out and they failed miserably they are still all wet on the inside from yesterday it's like the leather part on the bottom part of the shoe just absorbed all the water and slowly let it seep through. Now I have to spend more money on a boot that's actually waterproof and now I just have a giant worthless $300 ugg boot. If I wanted a stylish and toasty ugg I would have picked something way cuter. So disappointed, if you actually need a waterproof boot don't buy ugg lesson learned. Two thumbs down. Not happy.

I have been wanting these boots for about five years. I think Ugg may have not made them for a few years (in the tall). I had my heart set on them for this winter season. I ordered them, loved the way they looked, loved. The lacing was not hard like other reviews say. I ended up returning the boots because they are simply NOT WARM. They claim to be warm at -20 degrees. Not even close. The only issue I can think of is they were too tight? I have a pair of regular ugg boots that are nine years old, and they keep my feet very warm, I never wear socks, etc. Problem is they are not water proof/snow proof. Too bad on these, cause they looked so good. Not practical at this price point, at all. Thankfully, Zappos has an amazing return policy, which is why I love this company!

These run a full size smaller than expected. I wear a 10 and my toes were pressed up against the front of the boot. I have ordered an 11 and they will hopefully fit well as I love love love the look and quality of this boot.

These boots are super warm. I was looking to purchase a waterproof boot and these came highly recommended both for their warmth and their waterproof properties. I ordered my usual shoe size 7.5, and sadly the toe bed was just a smidge tight. I tried them on against the Merrell's and they are heavier than the Merrell's. But they have Merrell beat in the warmth department! They were so warm and I had a thin wool sock on with them. My only complaint was that they were hard to take off due to all the laces unlike the Merrell's (which also lace up but have a zipper down the side). Having to return them and sadly no 8's in stock! :(

By far the best $300 I have ever spent on any pair of shoes or boots. They are so comfortable! I did not have to break them in. They were soft and comfy from day one and no hotspots of any kind. They keep my feet warm even in deep snow. I absolutely love these boots for their lightness and softness in the ankle area that allows me to walk for miles on end without having to walk like a robot. I have worn Sorel boots and those are so heavy and stiff. These Uggs are the opposite! And the Vibram soles keep you from slipping on ice! I don't have any issues with the laces. I just loosen them a bit to take them on and off and a quick tightening to keep them on. I also have problems with my feet sweating too much when I wear regular Uggs, but I have never had problems with these boots. They are warm but do not make my feet sweat. I love love love these boots!!!

Great snow boots, light weight, stylish, and keep my feet warm the entire time! I love these boots and like to wear them with Smartwool socks. They kept my feet warm all day in 20F temperature at the ski resort and when I walked around town. First pair of UGG and I'm hooked!
