Awesome Shoes - These shoes are great! There was no break in time needed - I just put them on and they were comfortable from the start. I purchased the brown color - they do not show dirt and they go with all the browns that are in. I have had so many compliments on them. I will definitely buy another pair!

Better than barefoot! I love my Gel Nimbus shoes! I can't wait to put them on in the afternoon. They cushion every part of my foot. They are a little better than the previous Gel-Nimbus in that they are not complete mesh near the toe bed. Helps to keep the foot dry on wet mornings.

The toe box is really wide.

LOVE these shoes! I run about 40 miles per week and this is my second pair of Gel Nimbus. The first pair held up great and lasted longer than other shoes I have had. They are cute too and I have received lots comments on them.

Perfect. I am an under-pronator with medium-high arches. If I don't have a shoe that supports my arches, my feet ache for days after a run. I forget I have arch problems with these shoes. And the cushion - awesome! My second run in these shoes was a triathlon with a 4-mile run. I couldn't believe how good I felt; I actually had spring in my step! The shoe has a wide toe box without looking boxy - perfect fit.

BEST FITTING SHOES EVER - I bought these as a gift for my brother in law. These are his second or third pair and he swears they are the most comfortable shoes he owns.

Great shoes - I was initially concerned with the cost of these shoes, but when I got them I had no problem with the price. They are the most comfortable tennis shoes I own. I have a high arch and they work very well with that - they are also very light weight which comes in handy for exercising.

Love Nimbus 9 - I've been wearing the Nimbus since the 7 model and I love the 9 just as much. The brown color stays clean looking. The new toe box has much more room. I ran 20 miles in them on the first day and still have no complaints. The Nimbus 9 size does seem slightly bigger, but I still wear the 7.5 as I did with the other models. Overall still a wonderful shoe.

Nimbus 9 - As an avid long distance runner, this has to be the 15th pair of Nimbus I have worn....the last model was missing some cushion but the 9, has proven to have some improvements....highly recommended...although I'm not sure I like the brown color I ordered

New Balance to ASICS - Always used New Balance. Didn't know that I was choosing wearing shoes that were causing tendon problems on ankles. After cast was taken off Doctor said to change shoes. Was fitted with Asics’s Gel-Nimbus 9. Great shoe and fit for problem. Will never go back. Just would like more colors in this style.

Love em - Like Harry Potter and the Nimbus 2000 broom, with the Nimbus 9 my wife is now flying through the air when she runs! These shoes are light weight but made with exceptional quality!

They're great! An excellent shoe, I especially like the color option of root beer brown.

Pavement comfort - Super lightweight. No HOT feet at the end of your run. Really good looking as well. Try the Mocha!

Better than the 8 - I loved the Nimbus 7, but I hated the Nimbus 8, the 8 was too tight and constricting on the sides of my feet. I got theses and right off I loved them. Total comfort while running!! I definitely am going to be ordering more of these before they change the model again!!! Just only complaint is that they are very WHITE, I ordered the coffee color which is nice, but the white is too much for me, I need more color in my shoe, they get dirty too fast if they are totally white.

Love them...but - These are hands down the most comfortable shoes I own. I wear a 10.5 wide and the toe box is PERFECT on these. I bought these shoes about 3 months ago and have enjoyed working out in them nearly every day. But about 1 month ago (so after 2 months of use) one of the layers of mesh on the top of the shoe started to rip. The top layer has stayed intact, but I suppose now that the under layer is ripped, it's just a matter of time. Also the tongue on one of them is splitting at the top. I have no idea how this happened unless I just got a defective pair. I do nothing that would rub this spot enough to make it split. These are so comfy, and despite the issues I'm having with them I think I will try another pair when these just fall apart. For now they still function fine and provide great support and cushion.

Like walking on clouds. I didn't know running shoes could feel like this. I have a wider foot and narrow heel and these felt wonderful. However, I could not keep them because they were digging into my ankles. I'm 5'2 and sometimes shoes are made too high for me. I'm going to try the kid's nimbus. I tried on a dozen athletic shoes and these are the most comfy. They do look a little bulky at the sole though. But the cushioning in this shoe is really amazing.

A little rough breaking them in - These shoes are very nice, but causing a few blisters around the heel (which has never happened before). Maybe they are a little on the narrow side, but hopefully they will break in.

As an under pronator, I had a real problem with the outside of my shoes wearing down quickly. With the Asics Gel Nimbus, I get even shoe wear, and my feet and legs do not bother me after a long use, as they did often with other shoes. The only problem I have is a lack of cushioning, but I put some gel inserts in which alleviate that problem.

Not quite as good as the 8 - This shoe is pretty good, but I don't like it as much as I liked the Nimbus 8. I feel like there is less cushioning, especially in the front. It's held up so far in a few long treadmill runs, but I fear the lack of cushioning means I'll have to buy another pair in six months...

Good length, a smidge narrow - I usually buy running shoes 1 to 1.5 sizes larger than my normal shoe size, so I wasn't expecting these to be so narrow. I wear 8.5 in normal shoes and ordered a 10 in these. They were narrow when I first put them on (before running). I wouldn't order this style again.

Gel-Nimbus 9 Review - I was surprised by the width option that was offered with this version. I didn't pay much attention when I ordered them and the originals were too narrow. They reminded me of what I used to go through when I broke in Nike running shoes. Once I received the wider width, they felt like I've always known the Gel Nimbus to feel. I consider myself a casual runner, 16-20 mile a week, (an occasional 1/2 marathon). I've tried most every type of running shoe and wouldn't buy anything but Asics.

Like Nimbus the Best of the Asics Shoes - Nice shoe, nice look. Comfortable. True to size. Good for high arches.

Asics Gel Nimbus 9 - Thank goodness for Zappos incredible varied stock! I was able to finally find a pair of running shoes that fit properly. Fit was fine. I feel, however, that they should've had more cushioning and support.

Great running shoe - Asics are my favorite running shoe, I don’t buy anything else. They are the best for people who have narrow feet because they come in different widths, but if you think you are narrower than most, get an "A" width. My new shoes are a little too wide.

Not as great as my other Asics. I bought these shoes to run in. They felt great in the store and for walking around, but as soon as I put them to the test on the treadmill they failed to provide the support that I need. My old Gel-Stratus pair worked much better for me. Somewhat disappointing, but Asics still makes the best running shoes as far as I'm concerned.
