I love the Nimbus!! I love my new ASICS Nimbus running shoes! I previously have bought the Gel Kayano's and by reading the description of the Nimbus (more heel cushion), I felt that they may be better for me and I was right. I ordered the same size--7.5 and they fit perfect. I have started training for a marathon in them. In fact, I'm sure I'll be buying a few more pairs this summer. I love that Zappos has different colors than the stores around here and the shoes came so fast! I think the price is very competitive with stores, considering tax and gas prices. If you are a runner, try these shoes!

I love the wider toe box and mesh upper. It gives my toes and forefoot the extra room it needs when it strikes the treadmill. Very comfortable, but if you like to feel a lot of cushion under your feet you may not like this shoe.

Great Shoe! I have always worn the Asics DS Trainer but this is a good and slightly more cushioned training shoe, and not heavy at all as I expected it to be.

Heeled my knee pain - This is a top class running shoe...as it should be, for the price range. Even though I have been wearing Asics running shoes for years, I don't often get the top of the line model, since I don't do "high mileage" any more. This time, I decided to treat myself, and I'm glad I did. I am running in comfort once again.

Great fit, lightweight, comfortable - My first pair of Asics. I exercise every day and I love the shoe. Great support. I wear a wide yet have a narrow heel and this shoe accommodates both.

Great shoes - I bought 2 pair of Asics's Gel-Nimbus, one for my son and one for myself. Great running shoes, which felt true to size. Will definitely buy again. Will also use Zappos again. My whole experience with this company was very good. Excellent service. Thanks.

Approved by my Physical Therapist - Currently going to a PT, she asked HOW OLD are those shoes you are wearing?? I assured her they were not worn out but she said I MUST get new ones for more support. I called a Zappos specialist to get help with a shoe for specific foot (high arch and under-pronation) problems. After ordering several pairs, I took them to her and these got the seal of approval! They feel and look great!!

ASICS Gel-Nimbus - Once again, I am very pleased with this running shoe. As with most running shoes, I need to order up half a size, and this is true with this shoe as well. Zappos did it again! Overnight delivery to my house sure beats going to the store with my three preschoolers/toddlers!!!

Busy and bright! I wasn't really impressed with these shoes when I got them. They were true to size and felt good, however, in person the gold is very bright and not my style. They are much brighter and busy in person.

Great Shoe - This is a great running shoe. I had my stride done at a running store and this was one of the shoes they advised. I have a difficult time finding this shoe, but Zappos has it.

Dedicated Asics fan - I've worn Asics for a few years now and this is the 3rd Gel-Nimbus version I've owned. I like the fit and the wider toe box. I wear a 9 1/2 but buy a 10 for running shoes to allow for a little more "give" in the toes.

These are great - These are even better than the predecessor. They are very, very light and offer lots of cushioning and arch support. I will get them again when I need them.

Best Running Shoes - These are perfect. I wavered and did a lot of research. Light, great cushioning, absolutely perfect.

I love the new Asics I bought. They are so comfortable and the color is very nice. I also really enjoy getting the shoes the next day.

Great Shoes - This good looking shoe has great support and cushioning. It is far superior to others I have worn. I ordered and tried on several pr of shoes before buying this one--truly a winner. It also accommodates orthotics with ease.

Love these shoes - This shoe is amazingly comfortable. I would recommend buying a size smaller though. It’s very supporting in the arch and heel. I run all the time and I would buy this shoe again. No regrets

Sport Doc recommended! I am a high mileage runner and I tend to injured runners. That said, most of my “hurt” runners are wearing the wrong shoes. This shoe is for: mid-foot/medium heel strikers (even good for bigger runners, but if you are a heavy heel striker, go with the Brooks Beast). Neutral to slight under-pronating gate, neutral to low arches, those who prefer a wider/more breathable toe box, but still want a snug heel fit, and for anyone “new” to running who wants to make a solid investment in a shoe that will last you up to 80+ miles a month for at least 8-9 months. I DON'T recommend this shoe for: over-pronators, those with weak ankles (decent stability here, but not this shoe’s strength), those with a narrow forefoot (though GREAT for narrow heels), and those just looking for a training shoe (these shoes are made to go forward, too much lateral motion will wear them out faster and ruin their balance).

Gel-Nimbus 9 - These shoes felt good and looked just like the picture. I am really pleased with them.

Asics Gel Nimbus - I wear a size 10 and I always buy my Asics in my true size and find them to fit perfectly. These shoes are very comfortable and very light. I wear them to jog on the treadmill - have not taken them on the sidewalk yet. I highly recommend these.

Love this shoe! I have been buying Asics Gel-Nimbus shoes for oh, six or seven years now. This is the redesign from 8 to 9, and one of the best features about this iteration is that the tongue on this shoe doesn't stick up as much as it used to on the 8's. With the older versions, jeans or track pants would get caught up in the tongue every time you sat down, and you'd have to keep adjusting or look messy. Asics fixed that problem with this model, so now there's nothing to mar the fashion aspect. They're really cute, and somehow I think they make your foot look smaller than the 8's did. The colors are better than last year's options, too. As always, this shoe is great if you need a little help keeping your foot from pronating or supinating. It's great for high arches, and your knees will thank you. When they're brand-new, they feel like clouds because of the squishy gel and the mesh upper. I have a very wide foot and any other shoe takes months to break in, but these are comfortable right away because of the mesh. It's also nice if you have a longer second toe--again, the mesh upper doesn't bind that longer toe, but lets it move. They would be pricey just for street wear, but they well worth the money for pronating or supinating runners with high arches!

I am a runner and would never run in anything but Nimbus, but Asics has completely outdone themselves this time. I own 11 pairs of Asics running shoes and these are BY FAR superior to any other pair that I own. They are AWESOME!!!!!

Asics Gel Nimbus 9 - As usual, Asics is a star running sneaker. The Nimbus is working great for my foot type... High arch and enough cushioning.

Very comfortable - I used to run in Asics Gels only many years ago and started to use Saucony. I decided to try this Gel because it was named the number one running shoe 2007. I found the shoe extremely comfortable in general, I actually wear them all day. They are comfortable for running but I find it could use a little more support. My Saucony still provides more stability and support than the Gel Nimbus, but overall, I would recommend this running shoe very highly for any runner.
