Best flip-flop ever! This is by far the best flip-flop I've ever owned. I have bad knees and usually can't wear something as unsupportive as a flip flop, but the Elixer is an exception. It has great arch support and a cushioned footbed that makes walking comfortable, regardless of the surface. I normally wear an 8.5 so I tried both the size 8 and 9. The 9 was huge but the 8 fits perfectly. The webbing between the toes was comfortable from the beginning so no break in time was needed there. Definitely worth the price and I would buy them again without hesitation. And, of course, Zappos service is fantastic!

Teva Elixir - Love the sandal. Very comfortable and it looks good. I had ordered them previously in a 6 and they were too big, so I gave them to a friend. The 5 is perfect, so I bought 2 pairs. Am very happy with them in the smaller size.

Thongs that are good for your feet! I have plantar fasciitis but it's imperative that I let my toes out into the sunshine in the summer! I've had problems in the past solving that dilemma, but these shoes fit the bill, at least as far as casual summer shoes go. They are very comfortable and provide excellent arch support and heel support. I can wear these all day without my orthotics and my feet are pretty much pain free (which is a miracle!), even if I'm shopping or walking a lot. The color choices are great. Also, I usually wear a D width, but the standard B width is just fine in these shoes (my feet don't hang off the edges!).

A great sandal - I have plantar fasciitis and was told that flat flip flops are not good so I ordered these. They are extremely comfortable and now wear them all the time!

Very comfortable! I wore these on walking tours every day during a cruise for two weeks, rain and shine, and never had a problem. They are absolutely comfortable and clean up beautifully. My legs got tired before my feet did. Normally I need wide width shoes, but not with these. A perfect fit. I'm ordering a second pair.

Teva did it again!!! Pure comfort - Zappos, your company really outdoes itself. Great shipping, customer service. A+++. You set the standards of how a company should be run. These Teva Elixer 5s are comfy, doesn't rub on toes, good fit, but the back of shoe goes up a little. Rugged on bottom for hiking, camping, etc. Buy these.

Good looking - Looks good, wear is very good, and can wear all day.

Comfy thong - Got the order in 2 days. I started wearing the "Elixers" right away, no break in time. I like the fact that they don't absorb my foot odor.

Sturdy slip on - These fit beautifully and I have to try not to wear them all the time. My foot is on the narrow side and they fit well and do not look too huge.

Teva Elixer 5 - I got the grayish blue and green color. I love it! I have a hard time with my feet. I am a big person and I need a supportive shoe to feel comfortable walking. This looks stylish and feels good.

Great for plantar fasciitis - After a painful summer (last year) with lots of flat flip flops, I found out I had plantar fasciitis in my left foot. I was told no flat, flimsy flip flops (they can cause the problem and make it much, much worse once it starts!)So I went on a search this year for summer shoes that wouldn't hurt my foot. After wearing these for a few weeks (alot!)...no pain. Very supportive, cute, comfy. I highly recommend them for people who need to support their arches!

Great shoes. These are some of the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. Very nice. They do seem to run a bit large when you first get them, but after wearing them a bit, they are perfect.

Won't be my last! This is my second pair of Elixers - They are comfortable for walking and stay on your feet! I have a bad heel and need good support in all my shoes and these work great for me. When first trying on your instinct might be to try a size smaller but stick with it, they do run true to size! I only wish color selection was better! We'll see what next year's color line brings!

This thong looks like it has good shock absorption due to the sturdy sole. Unfortunately, I will be returning mine because it is too wide for my low volume feet.

Flopping around - These were very cute, but I guess I need to order a size or half size down. I ordered a 7 and I'm usually a 7 to a 7 1/2 in regular shoes. Anyway, these were so loose and floppy I am afraid I'll trip in them. They seem a little heavy also, but in a smaller snugger size, perhaps that would not be noticed. The arch support is really nice.

Rugged comfort, not pretty - I ordered these to use for walking extensively in Europe, and am glad they can double for light hiking and also look decent enough with summer skirts. They're quite comfortable and my feet didn't hurt after many hours, which is unusual for me. They are a bit clunky though, and not what I'd call cute, but they do the job. I even used them in the shower at a few hostels, and they hold up well to the water. Even though my pair fit perfectly (ordered 1 size down from my usual size), after 3 straight days I developed little blisters on the back of my heel. The back of these curves up to "cup" your heel, and this is where I got blisters. Overall, I'm pleased enough to wear them on future vacations, but they're not quite as great as I expected based on other reviews.

Comfortable & conforms to the foot - Unlike many flip-flops, these have arch support and don't require a lot of toe-clenching to keep on your feet. I never walk out of them! My husband ordered a pair also, and they looked great on him, but unfortunately weren't comfortable enough for his very wide feet.

I Love Tevas - Very comfortable footbed. The upper is a bit stiff, but I'm hopeful they will break in. Very flattering.

Not as good as last year's model of same shoe... I just loved last year's model. Wore them all summer, so I was disappointed to see that this year's model is larger although the same size. Clunkier and not as comfortable because it has less give. Hope Teva comes back with the old model!

Comfortable flip-flop - This is a cool looking flip flop which is super comfortable.

Nice summer sandal - This is what I was looking for: a flip flop that I could wear as a shoe and gave me some support. It looks good and fits snug so it doesn't fall off easily. At first, the sole is stiff but it softens up a bit with wear. I ordered a whole size smaller as suggested and it fit perfectly.

Good Sandal - This is a basic sandal that is comfortable enough. The toe strap is a bit uncomfortable at first but you could get used to it. Not a great deal of arch support and they felt a little too bulky for me. For more support try Columbia or Chaco.
