I really wanted these to work! Comfortable dress shoes that elegant and simple. The black color is ever-so-slightly shiny. But I had to return these because I have a very wide toe box and very narrow heel (a difficult combination!), and these shoes were slightly too narrow in the front and slightly too wide in the back. Note that the whole shoes are relatively narrow (not for those with wide feet!) I ended up keeping the Ahnu Gracie shoes instead. For most folks, I am sure these would be fantastic and comfortable dress shoes that could be worn with nearly anything.

I actually bought this same shoe a few years ago at a store while on vacation, and wore them right out. They were super comfy, reasonably stylish, and fit well for a few hours. I kept them for a long time, thinking I'd contact Naturalizer, but wound up just chucking them since I couldn't find the receipt and it had been so long. The elastic in one shoe went weird, making the heel area excruciatingly tight. It may have been like that to begin with, but I didn't realize it until much later in the day. I might try them again, hoping that was a fluke, as they were very comfortable.

I have these shoes in the Red, and ordered the Nickel Alloy, but it fit completely different. The leather was less stretchy, otherwise I would have loved another pair!

I ordered 12XW in this style. The shoes got here and, when I opened the box, one of my coworkers commented that they looked really narrow for shoes that are supposed to be wides. They went on but were kind of tight across the ball of my foot / top of my insteps. I sat down at my desk and within 15 minutes I had to take them off because they were cutting into my insteps. They're going back the same day I got them.

I'm a wedding photographer and need to be on my feet for 11 hours at a time. If the shoe didn't dig on the front top of my foot I would keep these. They're a basic flat, not "cute" - but functional. Unfortunately, my search for flats continues.

These ballet flats hurt my toes and heels from the moment I put them on. Perhaps I should've allowed for a break-in period but I don't think they'd ever feel comfortable. Thank you, Zappos, for your most excellent return policy.

They look great right out of the box. I intended to bring them to Europe and dress them up and down. I tried them on and noticed right away that the top of the shoe was digging into the top of my foot. It could possibly break in however I am not going to risk it. I have a pretty arched foot so maybe this would work with someone who has flat feet or flat top of their foot.

I bought these as a replacement for a similar pair. The old ones (same style) were super comfortable, but wearing out. These are not as comfortable. Not sure what the difference is, but they are stiffer on the sides. One side rubs on a toe. I'll keep them and hopefully they will soften up and be fine. Just a little disappointing.

This shoe run narrow and short and there was no support. It is a cute shoe but with no support and narrow width (for a wide shoe), I will have to return the shoe to Zappos.

Very comfortable shoes if you can figure out what size to order. I have wide feet and usually wear a 6.5 Wide in Naturalizer. When they have WW available I need to go down to a size 6. I read the reviews that said this shoe runs small, so I ordered a 6.5 WW, which was way to tight.

Love the look of the shoe... but for me it is not a comfortable shoe, it feels very rough on my toes! I had purchased from Zappos "Lucky Brand Emmie".. a very similar style to this shoe..but so much softer on the foot....the leather is beautiful.. and this one from Naturalizer is a big disappointment. I use to only buy Naturalizer and now I find them to be uncomfortable! So, back these shoes go!

I really liked these shoes but after wearing them around the house for an hour I realized that they were not going to work. I have a bunion on one foot and the top of the shoe dug into that foot. Also, there isn't much in terms of arch support. It would be fine if you were going to wear them to the office and spent most of your day sitting but not that great if you were going to do any extended walking.

I really like the style and overall comfort of these shoes, however, the elastic around the back digs into my heel, so I have to return them.

If only this shoe didn't pinch the top of my foot! This would be a perfect everyday flat, but the "v" shape of the toe box, and the fact that it's very close to the sole of the shoe, make this shoe uncomfortable. I do have a larger foot, so maybe this shoe was built for slimmer people.

I thought these shoes would flatten out when I stuck my feet in them, but they did not. They curled my toes up, and my big toe hit the front. The back rubbed my ankles, and I did not think they would break in, so I sent them back.

I ordered the widest (EE) and the opening by the toe area was too tight. I think the front of the show itself was fine, but the opening was painful. Otherwise a pretty cute shoe.

These shoes are nice but they are not true to size, about 1/2 a size smaller.

Pretty cute, goes well with moderately dressy or casual. very comfortable/cushioned base. Pinched a little too much in too many places, particularly at the heel and top of foot, so sending back

I have worn many styles of Naturalizer and usually find them very comfortable. After trying on the shoe after it's arrival, I noticed they cut into the top and sides of my feet. After wearing for a brief period, and using moleskin to protect my sore feet, I gave up. They are painful on tops and sides of feet. I am sorry I didn't return them. I would not recommend these shoes./

I really wanted these to be comfortable but they just never seemed to "break in" and keep causing pain and blisters - the top is not flexible and very tight at the joint of my big toe.

At first I thought these shoes were comfortable, but as soon as I started walking around in the house, I realized that like shown in the picture, the toe curls up. Now maybe after wearing for some time, it would flatten out, but I do not want to have to break in a shoe so it doesn't curl up like an elf shoe. These will be going back!

My first time with a flat shoe made this way. But I trusted the Naturalizer brand. Shoes I buy on Zappos are mostly for work. This shoe is absolutely fantastic. So comfortable all day at the same time giving me the support I need. Definitely buy it, you will not be sorry!

Oh my goodness. I was so excited to get a semi-decent looking flat in an 8 (WW). I couldn't believe that it was extremely narrow; even moreso than a normal size 8 (B). The reviews on this shoe were excellent. I'm sad that it didn't even come close to working out (and yes, I checked the box and the shoe to make sure it was a WW that I received).

Darn, they really do dig into the top of the foot along the tendon of the big toe. So sad, because they do seem like they'd be comfy otherwise, and they are good looking.

I should have believed earlier reviews that the toe of the shoe tilts up and is curved so it makes my toe push up on the front top of the shoe. Soft leather, nice color but that weird tilt makes it a return for me. Could have had better arch support but at least they had a tiny one.
