Needed a light weight bag for daily use. This did the trick. Good open and closed storage pockets. Bag has good balance. Not a fashion statement, but utility and weight were my priorities.

Great bag! Bought it in black. Finally decided on this one, which slightly larger than the other 100 version. Glad I did. Holds a tremendous amount of stuff, and still lays flat when worn as a cross-body bag. Wish it came in more colors!

This is a good bag. I used it for about 6 months, part of which I was living in Washington D.C. and it still looks like it did when it came out of the box. I felt more secure with all my things in it, and it was just the right size for running around the city and maneuvering crowded metro cars. I have a new job and I don't really need it so much anymore but I'll definitely keep it for traveling. It will useful for years.

Love this bag! I used this PAC Safe handbag for 2 trips to Europe and it's great! Lots of pockets, a deep interior for cameras, souvenirs, etc. It holds up very well for tough use and is attractive too!

Great bag, and perfect for traveling. It is full of useful little details, such as the clip to lock the zipper or the many pockets inside the bag. Big enough for a notebook, mini computer and a camera, but not bulky when only carrying a few items. Highly recommend this product.

I bought 2 of these for Christmas gift. Once friend took hers to India and she said it was a great travel bag and held what she needed, she felt secure, and it looks great.

Simple, modest, does not attract attention. Great travel handbag! Went to France for 10 days and carried this everywhere. Love the expanding (12-16oz) water bottle side pocket! On my adventure, I heard a story from one traveler who had her wallet stolen out of their purse (in a crowd). I felt very secure with the clip-close zipper. Also, I bought the Pac-safe wallet that has a chain to attach to the inside of your purse which doubles as a handle!

On our European trips I am the money and paper keeper for the four of us. I bought this for a recent trip to Croatia. It was perfect. I loved having the outside water bottle holder. I felt really safe with this bag. The ability to lengthen the strap to carry it cross body was also a benefit. The reality is that Croatia is such a safe place I didn't really need a PacSafe for that purpose, but I liked it anyway.

This bag came with me to Paris. It was great, it is large enough to hold all the things I needed the two side pockets held my umbrella and water bottle, the inside has multi compartments for maps, guide book, passport, it also has an outside zip compartment very useful. The bag is very lightweight, the material is durable, cannot be cut or sliced with a knife. I truly recommend this bag for travel or everyday use! Zappos is the best.

I loved the Pacsafe CitySafe 200! It was large enough to hold all my necessary items as well as small purchases and important papers safely. The outside compartment was great for keeping my tickets/passes ready for when I needed them. This purchase was a definite plus for my Europe travel.

This is a terrific travel bag with many beneficial features. I am soon leaving for a 2-week trip to Russia and guide books suggest carrying a "messenger" type bag rather than a backpack (which screams "American tourist"). This bag seems to fit the bill: it's roomy without being huge (the photo makes it look larger than it seems in person). Guide books/websites also include warnings to beware of Russian thieves who slash the bottoms and/or sides of purses and remove the contents. I am reassured that this will deter those wishing to relive me of my valuables and will be a safe way to keep my tourist necessities safe. I like the taupe color and the fact that the material, unlike leather, will not get splotched or water stained if it gets rained on. GREAT product!

This bag is perfect. I bought 4 different styles of Pacsafe before this one. I initially thought it was going to be too big but it’s perfect for the traveling I will be doing, holding my SLR, book, water and small misc goods without being oversized.

I looked for a long time for a travel purse. I wanted something that was secure, organized, lightweight and somewhat fashionable. Additionally, I needed something that would carry not only everything I needed, but the many supplies my two children require. I thought I would like the Metrosafe series best but it was too bulky on my hip. This purse exceeded my expectations! It's more stylish than the picture (sort of a cross between a purse and a messenger bag) and melds comfortably against my body. Best yet, it carries everything I needed, including a full-sized umbrella with much room to spare. The strap is adjustable. There are many pockets inside and out. And the blue lining makes finding items easier. I was able to squeeze in a water bottle into the outside stretch pocket but it took some tugging. This purse made travel much more pleasant.

I shopped everywhere for a particular bag with no success. I decided to try Zappos.com and found my bag! It has compartments on the outside (cellphone and small spray stain remover) as well as two other zippered areas which is a little difficult to unzip quickly, but this is why it is called Pacsafe. There are additional compartments on the inside (credit cards, pens, paper pad, etc.) Perfect for travel and everyday use. The zippers are constructed to frustrate anyone trying to get into the purse. The top zipper has a lock also. It would be nice to have other colors such as brown, but I am still happy with black. My shopping experience with your customer service was above and beyond my expectation. I needed this bag quickly and a very pleasant gal (I should have asked her name) did everything to make it happen. So Zappos, you and your excellent customer service rock! You must have a great training program! I did a lot of feet pounding searching for the right bag when all I had to do was go online with Zappos to order this wonderful bag.

Last time I was in Europe, my purse strap was sliced about 95% through!! I bought this bag because of its safety features and to replace a \'healthy back\' bag that I was using then I travel. I love this bag!! It\'s roomy, has great storage compartments and it is easy to find things since everything doesn\'t fall into a heap in the bottom!!

Bought this bag for a trip to Europe and it was perfect. The security features are great and it's big enough to fit all the essentials for traveling.

Wonderful, safe city bag - I bought this bag as a "hostess" gift for a friend with whom I stayed in New York City for a week. I had purchased the bag for myself prior to the trip (at another location) and loved it so much I knew she would want one since she works in the City. Pacsafe's CitySafe 200 is a wonderful choice for urbank travel. It is lightweight, has all the safety features you'd want in a bag, and good looking, too! The side pockets are a great feature. On a recent trip to New York City, I had my oversized sunglasses in the "water bottle" pocket and my metro ticket in the other small pocket. Even though it's an open pocket, it is tight enough that things won't fall out of it. I used one of the small outside zip pockets for daily cash, so I didn't need to get into bag. I used the "safety" strap in restaurants and "safety-caught" the top zipper to the bag in crowded subways and busses. Even in the crush of people on the Staten Island Ferry, I felt my bag and valuables were safe. It's a great buy, and Zappos provided wonderful service, as usual.

I ordered the Pacsafe for an upcoming trip to Barcelona. The size looks right for carrying my daily essentials as well as using it as a carryon. The safety factors give me peace of mind. Having the ability to clip the zipper so no prying hands can open it makes me feel more secure. I also like the idea of not being able to slash the bottom or handles. This looks like a good travel bag in all. The back two pockets should be revised into one larger one. You could then put a book or map in it. The size is rather awkward now.

Great travel bag! I purchased this bag for a recent trip to Rome. I wanted something roomy with some measure of security. It has very good internal organization, although I would rather have had another media pocket than the credit card slots. I was able to fit a moleskin, large marker case, camera, cell phone, maps, travel book, wrap, sunglasses, wallet and miscellaneous small purchases and it never felt too bulky. Externally, I used the elastic side pocket for either my water bottle or sunglasses case, depending on the situation. The smaller pocket on the other side held tissues but it's large enough to fit a compact umbrella. It would have been more useful if both sides were the larger elastic pocket. The two small pockets on the back were great for maps, lip balm, tickets, etc. I never worried about security even in crowds as the zipper clip is quite difficult to get into even when you know what you're doing. Gets easier with practice though. All in all it did a great job and has become my new "go to" travel bag.

Great bag - I just used this bag for a 2 week trip to Ireland and found it very useful and well designed. It turned out to be a bit too small for this type of trip because I took a raincoat and light jacket everyday for the cool, changeable weather. I tied my raincoat to the shoulder strap as it would not fit in the bag. I agree with other reviewers that the 2 outside zipper pockets should be changed to one large pocket to put maps in. I loved the light colored interior with all the different pockets. The outside bottle holder could be a bit larger - I had a bit of a struggle to get the bottle in each time. I only gave it 4 stars for looks because I would have liked some kind of decorative detail.

This bag was absolutely perfect for my trip to Paris. When filled, it can become heavy, but it will hold a lot! It may not be leather, which is what I was originally looking for, but it is water resistant, which I find very convenient during the rainy season here in South Florida. I like it so much I've been carrying it everyday since I got back home from my trip, and it's been six weeks!

Pacsafe CitySafe 200 - This is a wonderful purse! Lots of room and plenty of security. It's attractive enough for work, yet safe enough for travel. And, it holds all the things we traditionally need to carry. Plus, when traveling, it holds a camcorder and spare battery inside, without overloading it or making it uncomfortable to carry. One of the exterior pockets is perfect for carrying a compact umbrella and the other a cell phone. As for improvements, it might be handy to have one long zippered exterior pocket, instead of two small ones. That way maps and small items can be carried "outside," where they are more easily accessible. I like it so well, that now I might just buy another one, in a different color...

Secure and roomy - I bought this bag for my upcoming trip to Europe, so I haven't used it yet. I wanted something to carry my maps, guides, camera, toilet paper ;) and water bottle. This is the perfect size for all that. While its appearance on here looks like a traditional handbag, its adjustable strap is long enough to look like and serve as a messenger bag, which is tres cool. Also, the dark taupe has black in the strap, so it can go with anything you wear. It's very roomy inside which is important to me because my digital camera isn't very small. Also, I have a few lenses and camera supplies I have to carry around with me. My camera bag wouldn't have been big enough or secure enough to serve as a handbag, so this will be perfect.

Great for extended travel when safety counts - This bag is everything it says it is. I used it for a combination vacation and business trip to China and Japan. I always felt safe with it, even when I was alone in the city or touring in crowded popular pickpocket areas. I was able to get everything I needed for long days of touring into it (although it was packed) and since it could be worn across the body, it did not get to be impossibly uncomfortable or heavy. The bag is well organized and the pockets are great. I tried the MetroSafe 200 first, but it was too small for all the stuff I needed. I also have the ToteSafe 100, but it is a little too big and heavy to carry around all day with a lot of walking and climbing. This bag was able to transition from casual vacation touring to business days. Although it is not the most trendy fashionable look, it works.

The Perfect Bag - I have searched for years for the "perfect" bag: lightweight, adjustable shoulder straps, one large single compartment (preferably in a light color so I could see what was there), lots of secure little pockets and safe for travel. Readers, I found it! This Pacsafe bag has all of these features and more, including a thin wire in the strap, a lock for the main compartment and lots of strong mesh-like internal structures that make the bag keep its shape and prohibit people with cutting objects from slashing it. Also the terrific service from Zappos (quick, quick, quick) and easy return system makes purchasing this bag a no-brainer. I got it in brown with black trim and 2 of my friends also are ordering it!
