Alas, UGGs are no longer the quality product they once were. Gone is the thick, rich wool interior, replaced by something that feels scratchy and fake. What a disappointment! I have been a faithful wearer for over 20 years. No more.

Why is Ugg making the leg part of this boot so narrow now? I could barely get my foot into the boot! Also if we want to tuck our pants in there is no room! Ugh.

We first ordered this boot in my Grandaughters normal size, size 7 and she could not get her foot in the shaft, so I returned them and ordered a size 8, same problem! The shaft on these seem narrower than years before. Now have to return the 8!

The new Uggs are smaller than last year's boot. Are they trying to save skin and charge the same price? The leg part is tighter. The toe box is smaller. I ordered the short boot in black, and they are not like the tall boot (which I have from last year) in the toe capacity, nor in the part that wraps around the leg. Smaller all the way.

My son buys me Uggs every Xmas. Every year I ask for a different color. I asked him to stop getting them for me a few years ago because the last two pairs he got for me were so narrow I never was able to put them on! I gave them to my daughter who's a size 10 (boots were a size 11) and they fit her just fine. But her big toe went through the gray boot! I'm still wearing the Uggs of Xmases long ago because they fit perfectly! Problem is they are so old. I love Uggs and would love to have a new pair again, but the way they're made now they just don't fit my wide feet! I wish they would go back to making them the way they used to. Sigh...meanwhile I'm going to order a pair for my daughter before she goes back to college this fall.

Uggs used to be terrific - but I've worn these exactly 2 weeks, and the fleece on the sole is already wearing through. Cheaper every year. It's sad, because they're great otherwise.

After buying cheap Target knock-offs for the last two years, i finally invested in a real pair of Uggs in September '11... they were awesome, for about 6 months. Now I have a hole in my right foot... stitched it up... hole just keeps getting bigger. Can't believe I spent this much on authentic Uggs when the quality is worse than that of the knockoffs I bought. :( Save your money -- yes they are really comfy, but the quality isn't worth it.

These boots tore at the back the first day I wore them, ripped next to the rear seam. I suspect now that they are made in China, the workmanship is not what it once was. Too bad. Now UGG Classics are just too expensive, poorly made boots.

Very disappointed. I bought a pair last year and I bought a 7 which eventually stretched out. This time I bought a 7 and they are very small. So far they haven't stretched out and I find them uncomfortable now. I cant return them because I wore them hoping they would stretch out. :(

Ugg jumped the shark. I bought the same; UGG boot in the dark brown several years ago and was positively delighted. I even went so far as to buy the same shoe as a gift for a beloved family member because I thought so highly of the boot. I saved up for the black short UGG. I was so confident that I threw away all of the packaging. I thought that, "Hey, these are UGGs they have got to be great!". Ouch, not exactly. What looked like the same boot has rubbed a dermatitus (according to a physician) around my calves. It itches and ended up scabby from the abrasion. I have no idea if this is due to the cut or if it is how they perhaps chemically treated the shearling. All I know is that they are an expensive and miserable experience. My first Ugg short boots were a joy. I still remember putting my feet in them for the very first time. I slumped back in the chair at the shoe department at Dillards and let out a huge sigh of comfort and contentment. The new ones are horrible. I am 5'7" and am a size twelve. My calves are not an unusual size. I have no health issues with my feet or my legs. Saving up for real UGG used to be a worth while splurge. If this new and supposedly the same boot is any indicator it would be better to spend your money one something else. Zappos is great, this shoe is not.

I own these exact boots in tan and have had them for 4 years and love them. The boots that I just ordered in grey in the same size are extremely narrow and I cannot get them on my foot. I don't think they are made the same way as my other boots and am very disappointed.

I am so disappointed! I have been wearing Uggs for years and have several pairs, all in size 10. I ordered these in blue in size 10 and couldn't even get my foot into them because they were so narrow in the shaft. I don't know if the foot part would fit or not but back these go! Thanks to Zappos for the great customer service and return policy!

My biggest disappointment and these boots are not made for snow/ice or heavy walking. I thought this was a winter boot for snow days - thus the reason to purchase. The description from Uggs states "not for snow or ice." What a bummer!

What did they do to the sizing? These are terrible. I have 3 older pairs including tall, this short type and slippers. They are incredibly narrow in the short shaft and I can't get them on. My toes are also squished. I think Uggs has cheapened down the product in a bad way. Sending back. Zappos however, is great!

My daughter's toe broke through the front of these 4 days after getting them. Zappos is always wonderful about customer service, and they replaced them, however it seems to have worn thin in the toes again after only a couple of months. She keeps her nails short and wears them with socks, so I can only assume that the quality is cheap.

These will be the first Uggs I ever returned. The stitching and the seams are off. They look like knockoffs! I am so disappointed, how did this pair get past QA inspection?

WHAT HAPPENED??!! I have been an UGG fan since long before most people ever heard of them (is this revealing my age)? I replace my UGGS every couple of years, but have still kept my oldest pair and every pair since. I decided to buy a new pair this winter in the chestnut color (my sand colored Uggs from 2 years ago I have passed down to my daughter). When they arrived, I noticed immediately that they looked completely different, which is not always a bad thing, but in this case turned out to be an omen. I actually had to check for the label because I was not certain they were truly Ugg brand boots. The boots feel okay, they are fairly comfortable, but the interior lining is only about 1/4 of the thickness of my older ones, and seems to be wearing even thinner already...you can actually feel the inside sole of the boot through the fur lining with your bare feet! And speaking of the soles, they have changed those as well, and not for the better - they do not grip nearly as well in the snow and ice as my old ones do -- causing me to slip numerous times already. I live in NE and have always depended upon my Uggs to keep me safe and warm throughout these long, cold, snow & ice filled winters. Unfortunately, like so many other items these days, the manufacturer has drastically CHEAPENED the quality of their product, while having the gumption to increase the price!! It is too late for me to return these, but they are basically going to be used inside as slippers; I am going back to a pair of my old UGGS, and boy can I feel the difference. I do not recommend spending your hard-earned money on these boots. You can get a similar looking product...and I guarantee they will probably keep your feet warmer, too. Shame on you, UGG!!

Looks can be deceiving... The look of the boots is great, but I have to say that the quality is definitely not worth the price. Seems like the classic style is made cheaper than the ultra...... a lot cheaper...... I can see why they would fall apart after 4 months.

Very Disappointed! I bought these boots because I had heard they were pretty good. Mine started leaking water after wearing them for a short 4 months. Shortly after that, the left boot came completely separated from the sole at the toe (a 2" section). The sole separated on the right boot as well-- about 1/2 an inch, in the middle.
