This is my second pair of Uggs from Zappos. My first pair were short grey Classic Uggs & they're 5 years old & have taken a beating. I got black short classics for my birthday. I didn't have to buy a size smaller. I wear a 7 & I bought a 7 and they fit perfect. The first time I wore them I had no problems the second time I wore them, my feet were black on my heel & toes. But other than that no complaints. Also bought the cleaning kit, but waiting for it to come in.

I ordered these in the light pink. I am normally a 9.5 so I ordered a 9. They were still too long. Should have ordered an 8. However, I could barely get my foot in the shaft of the 9's. These are the only Ugg's that I have had that problem with. They were so narrow that it actually hurt my ankles when I was sitting in the bleachers at my daughters game. Ended up passing them to my daughter and they fit her great. She is a size 10 with smaller ankles.

I am finally am an Uggs owner! Searched for the best price online for classic short in grey and found it on Zappos. Read lots of sizing reviews: some said "buy larger"; while others said "ran too large." So I bought my regular size 8. I wanted 8.5, but Zappos did not offer. My size 8 is good, but not with socks. So these are my in-home wonderful everyday shoes. Great barefoot. And, of course, the expected high quality and fantastic sherpa lining. The real deal! Love my Uggs thanks to Zappos.

I wish they came in half sizes. I really needed a 9.5, but didn't want to risk getting the 9, so I went for a 10. They are a little big, but the fur inside makes my feet not slide around in them.

I ordered Uggs Mini Boots in a size 7. Same size as my current classic short ones. They were too small. I returned them. Ordered size 8 - too big. A little disappointed because I wanted to try something different. Ordered the chocolate classic short in size 7. Perfect. Seem a little narrow near the toes, but very comfy. Returning was so easy! No questions, no problems. Return label included and just had to drop them off at the UPS Store. This was my first time ordering through Zappos. Would recommend to anyone. Love the Uggs! Love Zappos!

Do not size down! I luckily had read another comment stating the same thing before ordering, so I ordered my normal size 8 (I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, wide if it's available). They arrived and it's super hard to get on my feet. Once they are on they're fine, with plenty of room in the toe, but pulling them on is rough. They haven't stretched at all; however, the sheepskin on the insole has packed down, giving me a bit more room on the inside. I almost wonder if going up to a 9 would have helped. I've always bought size 8 in the knockoff Ugg-type boots (from Target and Payless) so I was surprised to have issues pulling these on.

These are your classic short Uggs, so I knew what to expect. I would never order the black again since they fade and get a little discolored over time. I wear a size 9 1/2 these were a size 9 and fit well, just a little big but I like to wear socks with them or tights.

Decent boot. Definitely comfortable. Great for a cold fall day. Not my top choice for NYC winters unless most of the snow has been cleaned up on the streets.

This is the most comfy and warmest pair! My feet are the happiest. I just love them! I'm a size 7.5 or 8. I got size 7 for this. It fits perfectly. A bit pricey though.

I ordered a new pair of gray Uggs to replace a pair that was 9 years old. As others have noticed, the quality of the newer Uggs don't match the quality from Uggs bought years ago. What I found with this pair is that the shearling bunched up under my right big toe within a couple of days of wearing them. None of my Uggs bought in previous years did this until I had worn them for years...and then the bunching was evenly distributed throughout the footbed. (On a side note, I wish Uggs would make all of their shearling boots with removable insoles, so we could replace them as they wear out.) But it's pretty disappointing that within a matter of days, in one spot in my right boot I already have an issue. I will say, that though I am very disappointed with the downward trend in quality with Uggs, they still have no real competition when it comes to comfort and warmth with shearling boots.

I have Uggs classic short in black, gray, chestnut, and now chocolate. All are size 9 and purchased from various sources other than Zappos. All are extremely comfy but only the chestnut is easy to put on. The other three give me varying degrees of trouble when trying to get my heel down into the boot. I have kept them all because the comfort is worth the struggle. However, I would suggest buying a size up.

Word or warning: the classic short in chestnut are inferior. The shearling on the shaft of the boot is very thin and not at all like older Uggs. I have a pair in chocolate that I bought about 5 years ago and they are much thicker and of better quality. I had seen similar complaints about the chestnut on Zappos, but had ordered anyway. Criticisms were entirely accurate. I had seen one critical review of the chestnut that had said other colors were of better quality. I took a chance and ordered another pair in grey and they were perfect! The shearling was nice and thick all the through the boot. Another weird thing: the chestnut boots say made in china on the tag, but the new grey ones say made in America. So the grey are of better quality and made in the USA! Thank you, Zappos for your super easy return policy!

This is my first pair of UGG boots, and so far they are just what I imagined them to be. I usually wear a size 8 in shoes, and the size 8 in boot was a good fit. The footbed feels a little cramped at first, but after a few wears, it molds to the bottom of your feet and feels very comfortable. I purchased the black boot and gave it 4 stars on style because it is not as classy looking as the tan boot (with light sherpa lining). I am excited about wearing these warm boots during the cold NE winters.

This is the second classic short and fourth pair of Uggs that I've owned. Needless to say, I'm a huge fan. Still have my other three pairs but unfortunately, my puppy loves them too and destroyed one of two sets that I have. With that said, I still ordered my usual Ugg boot size 8, even though I'm a firm 9 in shoes. And they fit same as usual, they may be a bit narrower but honestly, that is a bonus for me. Once they stretch out, they grow at least one size so be patient. And I never wear mine with socks. That too could be why everyone has lately stated their boots seems smaller. I have seen a drop in the quality from those of the original older models I have owned. The first pair I received, I had to return and exchange b/c there seemed to be glue or something bulging in the toe box of one of them. As other have stated, agree for this price point, it's not a keeper to deal with a defect. Got my second pair and no glob issues so they will be keepers. My advice, is feel them good with your hands to make sure there are no issues with the seams or glue, etc.. and then break them in. It does take a few wears to break them in, the fur molds to your feet and they do grow so if they are snug when first trying on, think before you exchange for a larger size. I learned this with slippers. Ordered a nine in about two months, I was swimming in them and unless I wore thick socks, they would not stay on my feet - these were the coquette design.

Purchased these for me. As I have a wide foot, they did not work for me, but were perfect for my daughter. After wearing them for less than a week, the Uggs split right down the back along the seam. Immediately called Zappos and a replacement pair was on the way overnight mail. Zappos is the best way to shop. Their customer service is phenomenal. Sp far no problem with the replacement pair.

Love this boot. Wear it everyday. This is my 4th pair since I bought the originals, which I still have. Unfortunately the new ones do not seem to last as long as the original ones. I have blown the toe area out of all the others in about 3 years and then have to get a new pair. These are very warm and comfortable. Biggest issue is that the sole can be very slippery in snow and ice conditions but I can add Yak Tracks if it's really nasty out.

The UGG classics DO run a size big, not only compared to other brands but compared to several other UGG styles as well. I don't know how some other reviewers found them to run smaller than average. Maybe a quality control issue from the boots being made in China? I wear an 8 or 8.5 in other shoes. I also have one other pair of UGG boots and a pair of UGG slippers in a size 8. I have the classics in a 7 and they are a little wide but not enough to go down another size. Length is perfect. They are thick, warm, soft, and comfortable. No real arch support to speak of. I don't find them to be the most stylish but they are cute enough and style wasn't my primary motivation for buying them anyway. Overall, I recommend them and I would size down, NOT up.

I completely agree with some of the other reviews. These DO NOT run large. I ordered for my daughter just before Christmas. The shipping was fast and they got to me in time to be under the tree in time for Christmas. However, I ordered based on the sizing tips and ordered a half size smaller than my daughter's usual size. She could not even get her foot into the boot. We will have to return and get a size larger and hope that the fit works out a little better. Be advised that the tip is not accurate and that the boots run true to size or potentially a little small.

The boots are warm but I had to put insoles in because they are not very comfortable.

Amazingly comfortable and rarely gets sweaty. Warm enough for me to wear in December in New England--without socks, which is key. I would supplement these with snow boots though for rain/sleet/snow, since these are not super waterproof. I waterproofed them with the UGG spray but that didn't seem to do much--and it especially didn't repel stains, which was unfortunate. Other than that, great boots!

Wonderful boots but just a bit more narrow than I would like them to be. Otherwise they are perfect and would recommend them to anyone.

This are my go to shoes when I am out at an event like a football game, festival, etc. and need to keep my feet warm. Just wore them Friday night when the temp dropped down to 30 by the time we left and my toes were warm.

I have these in grey, chocolate, and chestnut. Now, I had bought my chestnut a few years ago, and I had to size down because they ran too big. But, they do not run big any more. I have my grey and chocolate one in same size as the chestnut one, but the size is way too tight. I am usually 7.5 and I size down and got 7 in all three of them. I should have gotten in 8. Don't size down any more.

These boots are great. I have owned more pairs of Uggs than I can count over the years and they have always held up for several winters. These, however, have become slightly frayed at the seams after just one winter, but not enough to make me stop wearing or return them.
