I bought these practical dress shoes for my son, who is a second year law student and works in the District Attorney's office. The awesome feature is they come in extra wide and if you have to run to the courthouse in the rain to file documents, you are good to go!

I bought this for my job interview. It has a great look with the high level of comfort. I love this!

Husband loves these shoes. Used to get them at Marshall Fields. Macy's doesn't carry the wide width. Found them online.

Great looking for shoe, a bargain for the price. My right foot is slightly wider than my left so I ordered 4W and fits great. Oddly enough, I also ordered the Rockport Oak Knoll - Shakespeare Circle, same size, but the right shoe is a bit too tight unlike the Evander. So I am returning them. Go figure.

Great shoes. I am on my second pair. Had the other for five years and the top still look great the sole was wearing down. This shoes are waterproof,so great in the winter and rain. Most comfortable dress shoes I have owned.

Bought these for my husband who has a very narrow foot. Loves the support, and says they fit perfect! Didn't realize they were waterproof when I ordered - all the better as he wears a dress shoe 6 days a week and often goes to job sites that mess up his good shoes. And Zappos service is the best!

Great shoe. First order was a .5 size too big, but the replacement was shipped immediately and the right fit. I have a hard to fit foot, and Zappos has many choices to choose from.

Bought this shoe for my 25 year old son. 2nd pair of the same style, size 14. Nice dress shoe, held up for many years of wear in sun, rain, snow, just time to replace.

Good shoe - I ordered 8 pairs of different brown/burgundy shoes in this style for a bake off. They won on style, comfort and sturdiness.

Good shoe - I ordered 5 different types in this style (brown business/dress shoe), all this this price range. For me this one had the right mix of style, stiffness (I have plantar fasciitis), sole quality, and motion control. I need to get the left shoe lifted by a cobbler, so the thick rubber/EVA material was a bonus. Slight complaint - I feel the leather crease on my toe knuckles when I walk - just a tad uncomfortable. But the other fit qualities overrule, and I'm sure will subside as I break them in

I wore these to my son's wedding right out of the box and was very happy with their look, fit, and comfort.

I work in a high end bar/restaurant & these shoes are perfect. They're comfortable for a long day on my feet & very easy to clean.

Good shoe for the price - I usually buy Eccos but decided to give these Rockports a try. I've had them for about a month now and I think I still prefer Eccos but the Evander's are a good value.

Rockport Evander - I previously purchased a pair of these shoes and I was very pleased with them. The sole and the upper both held up very well and I would strongly recommend them. They hold a decent shine also.

Great pair of dress shoes! Very nice looking shoe! Comfortable for a dress shoe and nice leather. Shoe true to size as well. I bought them for my 18 yr. old son's 3 performances in a college play and he said they were very comfortable and fit well.

Rockport Evander - Nice shoe, size ran 1 size larger. Width was just right.

Need to break in, but great shoe - Initially, the tongue was digging into my ankle, but as I bent the tongue back and wore the shoes, they started to fit better and better.

Beware of listed sizes - I was very pleased with the appearance of these shoes however the sizing is way off. I had to return my regular size for a half size smaller - a full size smaller would have been OK as well. Great shoe, just order a half to one full size smaller than you usually wear.

We hit the Jackpot! A few weeks ago, I spent the better part of two hours searching for a wide-width dress shoe for my husband. He wears a 4E, and is, in general, a difficult fit. He needed a new pair of dress shoes, which led to my search. I ordered the Rockport Evanders on a wing and a prayer, grateful for the return policy, as I was wary of the way they would fit. He's worn them twice for several hours at a time, and is stunned by how comfortable they are! They look nice on his feet too - they don't look big and clunky. He's delighted (and shocked!) that I was able to find him a pair of comfortable, dressy shoes online, when he has difficulty getting something to fit him in our local stores. I should note that first, he thought they might be a little tight, but wore them around the house for a brief time before wearing them outdoors. He said that after the second wearing, he could feel them stretch a little bit, better conforming to his feet. Thank you Rockport and Zappos - you can bet we'll be returning customers!

Rockport's Evander - no problems so far - I have ordered in the past from Zappos.com and have been extremely satisfied each time. My favorite shoe right now is Rockport. This Rockport Evander is a comfortable shoe and in the size, color and style I preferred. The look of the shoe is a bonus to me as comfort comes first. Rockport has many sizes, styles and colors to choose from and I would not have known this if it wasn't for Zappos.com. When you go to a store to find a shoe whether it be a department tore or the local shoe store they are limited in these categories. Thanks to Zappos.com I can easily find any shoe to my liking and not come away saying I shouldn't have purchased this or settling for what they have. I find myself recommending Zappos as my favorite shoe store and I am by no means a shoe man. This is what Zappos has done to me. It made me actually like shoes. For me this is something new. Service, quality and ease of use, there is nothing bad about buying shoes for me anymore! Thanks Zappos!!!

Comfy shoe; look great too - I am very pleased with this shoe. I think the title says it all. I am also impressed with Zappos service and their delivery time. I will buy more shoes here and let’s hope they all fit like these Rockports.
