I bought my first pair of these in 2009 and replaced in 2013. This second pair has lasted a year and a half before the sole has cracked open and the body of the shoe has worn considerably. Disappointed with this second pair and will be looking in another direction.

I'm a Rockport fan; but these are disappointing. Uncomfortable and clunky. The soles are hard and thin and provide little or no cushion or support. The shoes make a curious "thwack" sound as I walk. Waterproof but useless in the snow, as they are too slippery. Previous Rockport shoes had good arch support, but these have none. I'll replace the cheap inserts with an orthotic. The shoes grab when I walk, under the tongue, even when laced loosely. They seem overly flat, and not contoured to my feet. The look is dull and overly square at the toes. Width is about right; but they are about a size too long. I feel like a duck wearing them. No more of these dress shoes for me. I am going to buy good Rockport casual shoes in t he future. These are dinosaurs.

Very uncomfortable shoes; feels like walking in concrete. They don't flex at all. The shoes look good but hurt my feet.

As soon as I tried these on I knew I wasn't going to like them. They were tight and very rigid. I walked 10 feet, turned around and walked back. There was already a crease beginning to form over the toe. There is no way they were going to break in and still look nice. I like the look, just not the feel.

Nice shiny leather. Tongue dug into my ankle and hurt. Feet numb-ish after about an hour.

I am a size 13. The shoes felt small when I tried them on after delivery, but I thought I could wear them. I ended up with an abrasion on my right foot and bruising on my left, after wearing them to work. I bought a shoe tree to stretch the leather, and stop the shoe from cutting into my foot where the shoe bends when I walk, it was unbearably uncomfortable. The shoe tree did not help btw. I still have the shoes sitting in my closet having worn them twice since purchasing them well over a year ago.

These shoes were of very poor quality. The leather wore out much more quickly than other shoes I have owned. The rubber sole cracked all the way through to the inside of the shoe, making these supposedly waterproof shoes completely unwearable in damp conditions. Most annoyingly, they creaked every time I walked, even well after they should have been broken in.

This shoe has a great look but they performed horribly! They squeak incessantly, it sounds like you're wearing cheap flip flops. I work in a professional office and these shows were embarrassing to wear! I wore them only once; I tried sprinkling some baby powder inside them (a tip from the internet) but this did not stop the noise. I gave them to my wife to donate to Goodwill; worst money I've spent at Zappos; I won't buy Rockport ever again! I should have stuck with J&M.

They look like they're made out of plastic. My husband said they were very stiff though the arch support was great. Neither of us could get past the material these shoes are made of; if it is real leather I'd be shocked. They look really cheap!
