My husband wears 4E shoes and these allow him to put in his custom insoles. He was surprised with the quality of the shoe's insole too -- they have an air pump at the heel, which he thought was cool (but can't use). The laces were long enough to tie up the shoe securely as well. These shoes are a little shiny for his preference, but he will keep them for special events.

I bought these for my husband for our daughter's wedding. He loved them! He has a narrow foot and has a horrible time finding comfortable shoes. These not only looked sharp they stood up to a long night of dancing without pinching or rubbing, and he never even gave them a trial run! He said they were the best pair of dress shoes he's ever had!

Love them - I wear 13 XW and it's difficult to find something that looks and feels great - these are dressy and shiny - exactly what I was looking for.

Bought these for my husband who has VERY difficult feet -- size 13 Wide with an incredibly high instep. He likes these very much -- fit is good and very comfortable, which is of course very rare in a dress shoe! The finish is very nice -- definitely doesn't look like the "original" Rockports that screamed "COMFORTABLE SHOE TRYING TO LOOK APPROPRIATE FOR WORK." These are dressy and comfortable, without sacrificing style.

I've owned a variety of dress shoes, but none of them are as comfortable as this Rockport. The shoes look great as dress shoes, and they can also be dressed down with a business casual look as well.

High quality construction and leather make this a comfortable, good-looking shoe. The shine makes this shoe stand-out, and it doesn't go away. Comfortable air-filled in-soles are great!

A little stiff and snug. They seam to be breaking in the more I wear them. The shine is fantastic.

These are beautiful shoes. Ordered them for my Dad and he loves them. He has serious issues with his feet but these were so comfortable for him.

This Rockport style is a favorite everyday shoe for my office worker husband. Rockport is his go-to brand because he needs the arch support for his flat feet. This style is a bit more polished than many Rockports seem to be, which is a plus for him. We hope that this pair lasts well--having bought several pairs of these over the past few years we have found the quality to vary from pair to pair. The soles especially have seemed more or less durable in different pairs of the same style over time. All in all, though, a solid wardrobe basic.

This was my first experience with Zappos. A shoe store sent me to them because I have a very wide, but short foot, and it is virtually impossible to get my size shoe in any retail store. I ordered 8EE thinking that to be double wide. When I got the shoes they were labeled W, and were too narrow. Zappos explained that W and EE are the same. They sent me the same style in EEEE and it arrived the next day! At the same time,I ordered new tennis shoes in EEEE width which also arrived the next day! All this and not one dime spent on shipping! Needless to say, I will be buying a lot of my clothing from Zappos in the future! See you later shopping malls!

I love these shoes. I am a big man...280 lbs, so I am hard on shoes. I wear them almost every day. They will last me a year or more. Well worth the money.

Snazzy looking shoe. Very comfortable. Nice padding in the sole. Upper part of shoe takes some breaking in, but good shoe overall.

My second pair of these. For the benefit of those of you who have narrow feet, the narrowest width available is N (narrow, which is just a little wider than a regular B width. I wear heavy socks so then they feel like a B. They are a well built shoe, and very comfortable. Dressy enough for all but formal wear.

Got big feet? (I do!) Tired of hearing, "My, what big feet you have?" Wish you could hear, "Wow! What great shoes!) Wear Rockport Essentials Evander and be done with negative comments about your feet. You'll feel like dancing!

Very happy with these shoes, as they are so comfortable. They also have a great look, and are waterproof too! The ordering and delivery time were top notch (as usual with Zappos)!

Nice shoes. Waterproofing works.I have walked in the snow, still the inside very dry.Looks nice and easy to wipe off the salt stains. Very soft to walk. Size: It is little bigger than normal.

I've been in retail for 29 years and have used Rockport as my shoe of choice since I started. (I was 16 when I started so don't think I'm too old to still be working!) These shoes last longer than the laces which always upsets me because I can't find original laces to replace them with. Aftermarket one's just aren't the same. Polish them regularly and they will last a long time. Because of 50 hour work weeks on my feet, I'll usually buy a fresh pair once a year, just to keep sharp, but these shoes could go longer! I use Zappos because why would I ever buy my brand anywhere else? Outstanding Customer service and fast delivery. I'll always use Zappos. Being a large size, with EE width needs, it's hard to find my shoe anywhere else anyway. Use Zappos. It's a no brainer! By the way, I have several new inserts. Always have to buy orthotics but I don't blame Rockport for that.

Nice comfortable shoe. Great support. Looks good for dressy occasions as well as casual attire. I have had good experience with Rockport shoes!

I bought these for my son who is a reception supervisor at a hotel. Needless to say he has to be in a suit always and is on his feet most of the time. He absolutely loved these shoes because they look good and have comfort gel in the heel etc. He said they made him feel like when you are a kid and you get new shoes and you are pretty sure you can jump higher and run faster! Lol!

I ordered two pairs of Rockport shoes for my son for his birthday, with the idea that he would like at least one pair and I would give them to him as a gift. As it turned out he really liked both pairs and asked if he could have both pairs. He got two gifts and I got the pleasure of getting him a gift he loved. He wore one pair home that evening. Thanks!

I love these shoes. In fact, I left my wife for them. I recently wrote a brief sonnet about these shoes and sang it out loud at the local Starbucks. People were not impressed. I love these shoes. Did I mention I left my wife?
