I love these shoes, wear them every day to work. Actually wore them out and ordered a second pair. Comfortable and great!

Took about a week to break in, but are now as comfortable as sneakers! And they look good!

I wore these shoes a total of five hours one night, and I do not usually wear dress shoes. In that time my feet got kind of sore, and the top of the shoes did dig into my feet a bit, however I would say this is most likely because they were not broken in, and I usually wear tennis shoes. I have quite wide feet (4E) and these felt pretty good width wide, but still a bit tight, but not too bad. In addition these shoes looked pretty sharp, although they are a bit shinier than the picture seems to show.

It's difficult to find shoes at a good price in narrow sizes for men. I needed a pair for my airline uniform and these work great. Great fitting and comfortable from day one.

I had heard that Rockports were comfortable right out of the box. This was not the case for me. It took a few days for me to get used to it and break it in. However, I like them very much now. Overall a good shoe but perhaps not as good as people had lead me to believe. Still worth the price, though!

"Office" is the key word in the name of this shoe. They're nice looking and reasonably comfortable for office work. But I usually take a train to work with about a 15 minute walk to the stop. The length and width of the shoe is fine but they're noticeably tight across the top of my foot and not real comfortable for any kind of extended walking. Improved somewhat with age but still the tightest Rockports I've had.

I've been wearing these at work for about 3 weeks now. I was hoping they would break in, but they're still a bit uncomfortable--the upper pinches my foot above my pinky toe with pretty much every step. There's also this weird bump underneath the heel on the inside that is supposed to promote airflow or something, but really just feels like there's something stuck in your shoe under your heel. Style is fine--pretty basic work-shoe look. I expected better comfort from Rockport, but overall these are still a fine everyday shoe.

These were huge. I bought them for my son who always wears a 13 without a problem. We ended up ordering a whole size smaller and they fit great.

I ordered a pair of Evanders and a different pair (Margins). The Margins fit perfectly. I could barely get the Evanders onto my feet and left them there mere moments before sending them back.

I returned the first pair after 1 week because the left shoe was hurting my foot relentlessly. I thought it was a defect because the right shoe felt fine so I requested a replacement. I received a new pair and was quite satisfied for a month until I developed stress fractures in both of my feet on the sesamoid bones. I visited a podiatrist because the pain was so horrible. After X-rays he looked at my shoes and explained that the design of the footbed had caused my injury. These shoes have a flexible sole near the toe area but the rest of the sole is rock hard and does not flex when you walk. This design puts tremendous stress on the sesamoid bones of your feet causing a fracture. I'm a completely healthy and active 24 year old male and have never experienced anything like this before. My doctor prescribed anti-inflammatory medication and created custom soles for my other shoes to allow my bones to heal (which may take a few months). I am unable to play sports or walk for extended periods of time. I will never buy another pair of Rockports after this experience. Please do not buy these shoes!

OK finally the day came around,my daughters wedding on 10/18! I bought these shoes because I knew the rented tux shoes would not fit my 13 EEEE foot. When they arrived back in August I slipped them on to make sure they went on my fat foot and much to my surprise they fit well. Placed them in my closet until yesterday when the day for the wedding had finally come.Now I am not a fan of the Rockport inner soles with he little button in the middle of the heel so I swapped them out for a par from my work shoes. Well I I got dressed at 12 pm and was on my feet well past midnight and not once did I ever think about my feet.The shoes looked great with the tux even though they weren't patton leather like the ones that came with the tux . I just mentioned to my wife as we sat and ate dinner with my daughter and son-in-law how happy I was with the shoes as all the others in the wedding party with rental shoes were miserable due to the shoes they had to wear. So as someone who lives in work boots and jeans these shoes will probably last the rest of my life.

These are comfortable work shoes. Not the most stylish, but they do the job.

I am very satisfied with the shoes I purchased. Rockports have always been a good fit for me and these shoes didn't disappoint! They feel great, they're a 4E but don't look it and look very neat on my feet. I've only bought casual Rockport shoes in the past and they were all comfortable. Rockport will likely now be my brand for dress shoes too.

Good looking, comfortable dress shoe suitable for work and dressy, not formal occasions. A little stiff at first, but quickly became more comfortable with wear.

Not kidding, these were comfortable as heck right out of the box. The fit and finish was really well done. The waterproof leather, which I really don't care for, makes my feet sweat but overall looks classy and also comfortable. Hope it will last a long time.

I've been wearing dress shoes for work, daily, for over 20 years and I've had a tendency to use them more like a running shoe at times, when racing between meetings in different buildings, catching trains, etc. It eventually caught up with me and I ended up with pain the heal of one foot and the ball of the other. I decided to look on Zappos to see if anyone made a dress shoe with a sole that was more like a sneaker. After filtering my searches for "comfort" I came across a lot of Rockport shoes that were highly rated. I decided to try these for business casual wear along with a pair of the "Rockport Big Bucks Margin" for casual wear. What surprised me more than anything was, even though both were incredibly comfortable, this dress pair was even more comfortable and provided more cushion than the casual pair. The removable inner sole has more cushion than I've ever found in any shoe, and I've had all kinds (including ones with Nike Air technology). Even though the leather is a little stiff, these are by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I think the stiffness of the leather actually helps with providing the great support. They look great, although the leather may be a little too shiny for some. They also make a little bit of a squishy sound out of the box from the leather tongue rubbing against the leather that folds over it for the laces, but talc or silicone powder can help. All I can is, I was so happy with these shoes, I put in another order for another pair of Rockports that came in brown (this particular style only comes in black. As long as Rockport provides styles that work for what I need, they will always be my first choice when buying a shoe.

I love these shoes! I have purchased a total of thee pairs over the last several years. They get comfortable really quick with a minimal break in period. I love the fact that they are waterproof, so when I am walking to my office in rain or snow, my feet stay dry. When it comes to shoes, my choices are limited because of my foot's length and width, so another great thing about these shoes is that they cater to my 4E width and look great doing it!

I was looking for a comfortable dress shoe with a bit of cushioning in the sole. These shoes filled the bill perfectly. They are extremely comfortable, particularly when I'm on my feet all day. They are surprisingly light, with rubber soles that are terrific in the rain and on slick surfaces. They show very little wear and tear, after a year of use. I am completely satisfied with them.

Comfortable right out of the box. I had to get used to the snugness of it since its the first time I ordered a narrow width. But I really like it. You can tell the insole is superior quality with a very absorbing heel. Not the best-looking shoe I\'ve ever owned, but they feel great on.

First of all, I have a narrow foot with a high arch, so somewhat hard to find shoes that fit well. These were comfortable right out of the box, true to size, and were great for walking several blocks a day for work. I had to wear them in the rain and they appear to be unaffected by the experience, unlike a leather soled shoe.

Love this shoe. I am almost 40 and oddly my arches collapsed. I was an 11D 10 years ago - 13E today. Shoe has been very comfortable with little break in needed.

These shoes look stylish without being too much like an old man shoe. The fit was perfect for a wider instep but not too big at the heel. Comfortable right out of the box. Would definitely purchase again.

Rockport has become my shoe of choice for the office. All day comfort is the main reason, followed closely by style. I haven't had any problems with quality or durability. Zappos makes it easy to find the latest styles and keep me looking good at work!
