These were for my husband who has very narrow feet. He thought out of all the pairs we tried, these were the most comfortable. His one HUGE complaint is, that though they are comfortable for about 2 hours, after that they start rubbing and create a blister on his heel- every time he wears them. He's tried heavier and lighter socks and wearing them around the house to loosen them up. Again, 2 hours, no problem, but after that he has to take them off. Being a business shoe, 2 hours is "just the beginning" of the day.

This is my second pair purchasing from the collection. These shoes work with my insoles. Also the water proof material is excellent. I recommend any customer to purchase this item as an everyday work shoe. Great choice.

These shoes look great with formal business attire and hold their shine well. The fit is nice and snug.
The only drawback is that they are somewhat painful to break in. If you're going to purchase these - and that would be a good decision - be careful about breaking them in. Always have another pair on hand and don't bring them as your only pair on when traveling.

I loved the old "Dressports" line and wore them for years. This is the closest thing. These shoes end up being very comfortable (though not quite as comfortable as the old Dressports). But they require a breaking-in period (unlike the old Dressports). After a few days, they are fine. But expect some pain at the beginning. When I got my first pair, I was ready to return them after I first tried them on. But I stuck with them and they turned out to be completely fine. This is my second pair. (I still have the first pair after 2 years but I need a pair in two locations so I made a new purchase.) They look very formal. So, in the end, I'm happy with them. I just wish there wasn't that breaking in phase.

Overall, it seems like a quality business shoe. The leather is a little "dry?" Not sure how else to say it. It gets creases after the first wear at the bast of the tongue. Smart looking shoe, but get an insole unless you're flat footed.

My husband is on his feet for 10-12 hours a day so it's important to have a shoe that holds up. He said you do have to break them in, but that is typical in new shoes. The crease has been difficult to break in and is still giving blisters, but overall good shoe.

They were incredibly painful to break in. The area around the ankle and fifth toe (little toe) was unbearable the first several times I wore it. However, now that I am breaking them in, it is not so bad. Also, I am in a wet climate, so being water-proof makes them invaluable.

This is a well built quality shoe. A bit stiff out the box, which means a bit of a break in period, but the shape and the construction look good. Fairly comfortable to walk around in for the whole day at the office, but might rub at the wrong places on the foot, such as the crease by the toe area. I have flat feet, and these are great for that because there isn't any arch.

I bought these in 10.5 not realizing I had a burgundy pair in 10. Here's the deal: The shoe is wide enough but my toes still felt scrunched. I took out the insoles and put in my orthotics - these just come halfway up the shoe. I found that I have a lot more room in the toe area when the insoles are removed. That is I have more room vertically. I have the same issue with the size 10. For some reason these shoes narrow vertically in the toe area compared to other Rockport models I own.

This is a beautiful shoe that retains its luster and brand new look. It is also waterproof, which is great for those rainy days. Unfortunately, it is also very stiff. While perfectly comfortable when standing or sitting, with great arch support and a quiet sole, the uppers dig into my big toe metatarsal when I walk. This became very painful over the course of a day. It's getting better as the uppers soften up a bit, so in the long run I think I'll like this pair quite a bit. They just take some old school breaking in.

Very nice shoe. None of the Rockport stores I visited had my size (14), so I purchased it online. Fairly easy to break in, after wearing this once or twice, it's comfortable. I wouldn't go too long (i.e. a whole day with it), but not a bad shoe at all. I actually have the same shoe in a different color (oxblood), and I liked it so much that I got it in black. My only (very minor) complaint is the front toe piece. In the oxblood color, you don't notice it that much, but in black, you can see the piece and the seam line, it looks kind of weird.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in over a decade. I sometimes have to stand most of the day and when I do, my feet are usually in pain by the end (I have no natural arch support). With these shoes, they feel as good at the end of the day as at the beginning. They are not the most beautiful shoes I have ever owned but hands down they are the most comfortable. I am going to buy a few more pairs even if I wish they were more stylish.

These are very comfortable shoes to wear compared to most business shoes I have had. The only flaw I have seen is the leather on top where the shoe bends most has gotten a little cracked. This seems to be a compromise in construction because the leather holds up well in the rain.

The shoes took a few days to break in. I had initial pinching of my pinky toes, but that's gone away with repeated wear and use of shoe trees.
The shoes took a great shine and now feel very comfortable. The soles are a bit squeaky on some flooring surfaces, but not a major problem. Also, have not yet noticed any breathability issues due to waterproofing.
