Customer Reviews New Balance MX602

Love this shoe - My husband is so happy with his shoes. He can get free ones due to his diabetic condition but he says they are not comfortable even though they are custom made. He will probably order another pair in the near future. He ordered the largest width which I think is an EEE or an EEEE.

Very nice shoe - Zappos web site is great. I narrow my New Balance to cross trainer shoes only. Then I order 2 or 3 pair of different styles because each one fits different. The 602 fits my wide foot (gets longer and wider as I age) just fine and when I wore it to the athletic club the first time it gave me no problem in aerobics workout or weight lifting. New Balance and Zappos are for me. Hey, fair price, great shoe and free shipping what more do you want in these days.

Pretty Comfortable - This shoe's pretty comfortable, nice springiness to the sole, however it's a little tighter than other New Balances I've had before, especially in the back of the arch. I'm hoping it's just a matter of breaking in, but I've not had this before with similar models, even new. But it does seem a little better cushioned on the inside (not just the bottom).

Traction - more than usual New Balance models - I bought these for my husband; he has 4E wide feet and is a devout New Balance fan. He noticed immediately this version has more small nubby-like objects which give him better traction than the past version he wore. For winter this is certainly a plus; I can see this being a selling point if you are buying them for an elder.

New Balance MX602 - I ordered these shoes for my dad, based on the customer reviews. He loved them. He has a very wide foot and it's extremely hard to find shoes for him that are wide enough to feel really comfy. He said these were the best shoes he's had! Granted my dad is not overly picky, but the size and width seemed to be very accurate. I thought they were a great buy as well!

A step in the right direction - Good fit to foot with a half size up from the 10 I usually wear. A good arch support which helps to give comfort around the rest of the shoe. All in All a great shoe that will give you a "lift" and in the end let you down easy.

Great shoes for my son’s school required uniform, which states, "all black shoes." Nice extra wide sizing, which isn't always easy to find. Zappos has a large selection with fast shipping and no hassle return policy. Zappos is now my number 1 source for shoes, and if they don't have your size, they will email you when and if it becomes available. Great job Zappos! Keep up the great work!

Hooked on New Balance - These shoes are very comfortable. They offer good arch support and easily wipe clean. I would highly recommend them to anyone with wide feet and minimal arches.

New Balance's MX602 - White and Blue - The shoes were purchased for my husband and he's very happy with them. New Balance is the only athletic shoes he'll wear. As a side note, the shoes were priced less than I would have paid at a store in my area even if I would have had to pay for shipping.

Awesome - Wow, I ordered this shoe on a Thursday at 7:00 pm; and they arrived on Friday at 1:00 pm... and I reside out in Massachusetts too; incredibly fast shipping. If every business or company was as friendly and helpful as the fine folks at Zappos, boy... would it be nice... Zappos is simply the best. The 602's in white/navy color are awesome. I was worried about the navy blue being too bright, but it's a very dark color of navy and almost looks black so I'm very pleased because I didn't want bright blue soles. These did feel a bit narrow at first but after wearing them for a couple days, they broke right in and are perfect. Can't say enough good things about Zappos; I am a customer for life. I'm so glad I found this website!

Exactly what I expected. I am a Physical Education teacher who was converted to New Balance approximately five years ago primarily for the great arch support I've found in their line of cross trainers. Each year I seem to end up with a different model, but I have to say that the MX602 are the first pair which are perfect right out of the box... they are even more comfortable than the broken-in 316s that they replace.

Thanks NEW BALANCE for making WIDE SHOES - New Balance has been a pioneer in providing wide shoes that do not look like orthopedic shoes. My only complaint with New Balance is the "N" logo on their athletic shoes. Other than that these shoes are very cushioning and supportive to my 12 4E feet. AS ALWAYS, ZAPPOS is the BEST! Other American companies should use them as an example on how to treat consumers and how to keep consumers coming back! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR EVERYONE!

HUBBY LOVES THIS SHOE!!!! I purchased this shoe for my husband, but it was in the White/Blue color. He loves the shoe. He says that it fits really well and is very comfortable. Zappos is a great shoe site. Their selection is huge. Will definitely purchase from them again.

Even better than the MX608! I have worn NB for many years and have had a pair of MX608's that finally started to show their age. I tried a pair of MX620's...so so really and not as comfortable as the old 608's. These new MX602's are the best NB I have owned. Comfortable right out of the box plus a bit lighter in weight. Glad to see NB coming up with another winner.

New Balance MX602 - Nice looking sneaker. Comfortable. However, somewhat of a snug fit even though it said it was a "D" width. It was tight. I just didn't feel like spending the money to send the sneakers back.

MX602 - Good fit, very comfortable. The more I wear them the more comfortable they seem to become. The black look very nice. I also ordered a pair in white.

New Balance MX602 - Comfortable, but not as true to size as the MX608.

Great Basic Sneaker - I have always been a fan of the "plain" black sneaker, something to wear to the gym and to work. The 602 fits this category nicely. Very comfortable, and light, yet my feet feel adequately supported.
