Good value -
These shoes are more comfortable and better looking than I expected considering the relatively low price. Large toe box is the reason I like NB shoes.
I'd also recommend:
Higher priced New Balance

New Balance toe pincher -
These are very narrow in the toe bed. Otherwise a good looking shoe.

MX602 Review -
There was almost no arch support. And add to that the toe box fit way too small. The shoe also felt too narrow. I've come to expect better from New Balance. Don't buy this product.
I'd also recommend:
Any other New Balance for walking, Asics for running.

If you are migrating from the discontinued model 620 to this shoe, prepare for a completely different fit. After years of buying model 620s, which fit my 12D foot like a glove, I am no longer able to find a New Balance shoe that fits me. The 602 is narrower across the ball and toe than the 620, and the angle of the front of the shoe now slants across my big toe instead of running parallel, causing my foot to rub on both sides. I tried the EE width, but the heel was so loose my foot slipped up and down when walking.
