Great casual dress shoes - Nice comfy shoes those are appropriate w/ either jeans, slacks or suits. Good arch support for walking. Take a few days to break it in but versatile compared to others.

Satisfied - The shoe is a great success in my book. It is comfortable right after the break in phase. Before the break in period I was a little skeptical. The only thing that will deter me from buying another pair is longevity. I am constantly on my feet and if they don't last at least 8 months I will be searching for another pair. However, the beginning ratings are an A!

Really good shoe. 2-day break-in period... I got the black glossy version of this shoe - really cool look. I spend a 6-8 hours on my feet at a time wearing this shoe. Had a little discomfort in the ankle area for the first couple days, but turned comfortable after that... been very comfortable ever since. Happy with the shoe - will probably buy this shoe again.

Great shoe - Very nice shoe. I have a high arch and can't usually wear loafers, but these fit fine. There definitely is a break in period though. Zappos is the best, no reason to buy shoes anywhere else.

Have three pairs. Love the look and feel. However, the sole has split. I wear them strictly in the office, so this is crazy! Great looking feeling shoe, just poor construction!

Very comfortable but within a year of normal office wear (once or so a week) the soles cracked across the bottom of the middle of both shoes (where it flexes). Disappointing for a high quality shoe.

I love the style of this shoe. It looks great with jeans and khakis, and is a great shoe for spring, summer, and early fall. The fact that it's basically unchanged for 10 years or so says a lot. Unfortunately, I've had the same issue as other reviewers with the feeling of overinflated soles under the balls of the feet. They're very uncomfortable after a while, so I don\'t wear them if I'll be walking a lot. No problems with the sole splitting, though.

Shoes are not comfortable - I bought these shoes for work. They are not comfortable at all. I am very disappointed because I like Cole Haan.

I have bought multiple pairs of these shoes but recently have found the last couple pair to wear out extremely fast. In particular, the sole splits under the ball of your foot after only a couple months. The shoes are extremely comfortable, but due to the splitting issue with the sole they are tough to recommend. I thought it was a one time occurrence with the last pair, but now that I am having the same issue with my newest pair I think it is time to look for something different

I own 4 pairs of Santa Barbaras this was the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. Recently I had to replace a black pair because I use them for work always the very first day they felt a little snug wich is not unusual for a brand new shoe but 8 hours later I had blisters on top of my toes and the back of my feet, I looked inside shoe that I had just bought and it was made in China and the other 3 pairs were made in India and Brazil as much I love the brand and the look I will never buy another pair again unless the merchant can guarantee my next shoe purchase is not made in China

I had a pair of these from several years ago and loved them. Unfortunately, it seems the overall construction and fit has changed. Not nearly as comfortable.

These shoes are not durable. My husband found these shoes very comfortable but within four months of buying them the sole split across the ball of his foot. He did not wear these shoes exclusively, he wore it approximately two or three days a week.

Worst shoes ever. They look good, they feel great, and you'll think you've found the perfect shoe. But after 4-5 months of light use, the sole will crack and then the leather stitching will break free and you'll walk right out of them. I thought it was a fluke...and decided to try another pair due to how much I liked the comfort and look. Then, it happened again. I'd never buy another pair of Cole Haan ever.

I'm not sure how the shoe rates this high. Both soles had huge cracks around the balls of my feet in under six months. I did nothing special in these shoes, just normal walking around a carpeted office. Not good and I've read several other reviews that state the same issue. So it doesn't seem like a one-off issue. I would avoid these shoes.

I have been wearing this shoe for 7-8 years and suddenly they do not fit. My usual size, 10M, I could not keep on my feet for more than 5 min. I sent them back and ordered a 10.5. They were like wearing shoes made of wood. could not keep them on my feet for more than 5 min. Sent them back and ordered a 10 wide. They flip,flop when I walk! I am very disappointed and Cole Haan has lost my business.

Tried two pairs of these shoes, in 7.5 and 8 EE. Chose them because I could get a EE width. Couldn't even get the 7.5 on (even though that's my actual size) so I ordered an 8 EE. That was still very uncomfortable and not quite wide enough. Very disappointing.

Similar to other posts, I am a long time Cole Haan shoe purchaser and have had problems with the sole splitting on this shoe after few wearings. Upon reading posts, I would be hesitant to buy this shoe or other models with the Nike Air Sole.

Do not buy these shoes! I've owned two pairs and both times the soles of the shoes split. Both shoes in both pairs had this problem, and I'm not alone. They are incredibly comfortable for a few months, then they fall apart. Cole Haan needs to fix this issue because these shoes are too expensive to be so poorly made.

I've worn my Cole Haan Santa Barbara's for almost two years now and they've been comfortable and durable, with a relaxed business casual look. I'd buy them again -- and probably will. They're not meant for lots of walking (slip on shoes are not) but perfect for a day at work or on the weekend.

I have gotten these shoes before. Hopefully the sole on this pair will not split like last ones. My husband loves Cole Haan shoes. Great price - thanks, Zappos! Customer service is excellent! I will definitely buy here again.

These shoes were very tight on my feet when I first bought them at an outlet store. but I persevered and learned to like them. as another reviewer said, they are my go to shoe. I have had them at least 4 years and I wear them all the time. I'm now ready to buy another pair to replace these at the time of my writing this review.
