Great shoe, I bought the Air Holden Venetian first and returned them after only trying one shoe on. The Santa Barbara fits awesome, comfortable wearing them all day standing on my feet in retail. I have a wide foot and the wide model fits and feels great!

As always awesome experience with Zappos. Great shoes, true to description. They surprised me with a free upgrade to next day shipping. Phenomenal customer experience! I wish Zappos would rub off on others. :)

A great shoe, very comfortable. Zappos service, as always was fast and easy. Like my other Cole Hann's, they are about 1/2 size smaller than other shoes I wear.

This is my second pair of this exact shoe, the cat urinated on my first pair after 5 long years of hard use. These shoes are worth every penny. I stand/walk around trade show floors all day with no foot pain. I have a narrow, low-volume foot with a fairly high arch and these fit but in a way smaller size than I usually buy. I buy size 10 Nike running shoes and buy these in size 8. I liked them so much I bought another pair in polished black. These shoes are tough, comfortable and good-looking, just beware of the size.

I purchased these same shoes when they first came out in 2000. They wear great and lasted for about 10 years. The new pair have not changed very much, except for the change of logo. Extremely comfortable. I recommend throwing some mink oil on the leather to keep it soft.

The best pair of shoes I own - I purchased these shoes as a present for myself. By far Cole Haan is the best shoe I own and I have a huge collection of shoes. The quality of the shoe is outstanding, looks great and very comfortable. The customer service rep I spoke with was very pleasant, she sent my shoes overnight Fed-Ex, and there was no charge, saved me about $25. And the customer service is like no other. Great job guys keep up the good work. I would recommend to any and everyone. Thanks.

Comfortable and Stylish - This is a perfect shoe. Looks great. Lots of support. It has the appearance of a classic loafer yet is not an over bulky or heavy shoe. I bought the black with the shine and am very pleased. I'm even more pleased with Zappos. This is the best company, on every level, to do business with.

Beautiful Shoes! First, let me start by saying Zappos is by far the BEST company I have ever dealt with. Their Customer Service (returns policy) is incredible. I ordered these shoes around 3PM and the next day by 2PM I was being handed a box from Zappos. I don't know how they do it. I tried them on and didn't like how they fit so I called and asked for an exchange. Again, I was blown away. The new pair arrived before I even had the chance to send them back the 1st pair. Amazing! Simply amazing. I don't think I'll buy shoes anywhere else after this experience. You can't go wrong with Zappos. Oh yeah, the shoes. They are beautiful, comfortable and casually elegant. Things you can always expect from Cole Haan.

Best shoe I have ever owned - I have 4 pairs and just rotate them. They are tremendously comfortable and stylish as well. I do a lot of walking at car dealerships, and the soles and Nike air system have saved my knees. I highly recommend this shoe if you are on your feet a lot...I've had many compliments on the shoe in both colors.

True to size - I have wide feet. Some "wides" just feel like they're a size bigger, length included. This fit. A little stiff out of the box, but they're softening and molding nicely.

Nice shoes - I bought these shoes a couple of days ago after reading the reviews and have to agree that it does take a couple of days to break them in. They are very stylish and I have gotten a few compliments on them already. I bought the matte black ones and the finish is perfect. It is not a flat finish, but more like semi-gloss. They look great with jeans of chinos and would be compatible with almost any kind of clothes from casual to dress. The quality is very impressive.

Great dress shoe for work - I had a pair of very similar Cole Haan shoes that is now discontinued, and fell in love with the Nike Air technology. When they finally wore out after three years of daily wear, I bought the Santa Barbara as a replacement. The shoes take about a week to break-in because the leather is stiff, but once they've softened up; they're super comfortable and have great cushioning.

Excellent choice - Very comfortable, stylish, good value. I live in Hawaii and it's hard to find shoes that come in wide widths. Cole Haan always provides extra widths for their shoes and Zappos has a good selection.

As good as it gets - Fit great right out of the box. Comfortable and look great. First time I wore them I had 3-4 compliments on a plane trip, Buying both black pair next. Perfect for business casual, dressy enough with a sport coat.

Cole Haan Santa Barbara - I lasted all day standing on a concrete floor at a trade show! Really comfortable even at the end of a long day!

They are light, easy to wear and walk fine. However, they do not last long with normal wear on concrete or hard surfaces. These are non repairable shoes!

Good shoe for a while. I have had 2 pairs of these. The soles cracked on the ball of the feet on both pairs. I thought it might have been a problem with the first pair and purchased another and my second pair cracked as well.

I thought I would give Cole Haan a try since I usually buy Ecco, and the reviews were so good. This is a big disappointment, these are not comfortable at all and will probably not make it out of my closet very often. The build quality doesn't seem uniform from foot to foot, they seem to be tight on one foot in some areas and loose on my other foot in that same area. Defective? Do yourself a favor and at least try the Ecco version if you haven't already.

Great shoe but sole wears out fast. I love these shoes, but the sole keeps splitting at the ball of my feet for each foot. I've had them resoled by Cole Haan, but sole split again. Other than that, the shoe is perfect for looks and comfort. I just wished the sole would hold up.

After about 5 months the sole is completely cracked and pieces are actually falling out! Been wearing Cole Haan's for years (some pairs for 5+ years!), never had a quality issue like this. Very disappointing.

I do not believe that this style is true to size. I have three pairs of shoes that are made by Cole-Haan and all are true to size but not these.
