Very light - The sneakers are as light as plastic. Kinda resembles one. HOWEVER, they fit my son like a dream and he likes it so that's all there is to it.

Couldn't love them more - This is our second pair - last one was red; and we will continue to buy this brand, with joy. The slightly wider fit is great for our little guy, who doesn't have wide feet but is picky about the feel of shoes against his skin - we've bought Stride Rite and other "good" shoes, but these are a big step up. The tongue is sewn in place on one side and doesn't get lost - the straps and velcro are sturdy and work well, the design is snappy, and gosh, they wear like iron - our very active son wore his last pair for almost nine months as his only shoes - because he preferred them so much - and they're only now starting to really wear out. Because they're a little roomier it gave us longer before buying new ones, too, we think.

Stylish and comfortable. So light and flexible, my 4 year old loves them. He's been using Tsukihoshi for a while and does not walk or run the same in other brands. Great for orthotics too, removable sole. Worth every penny.

Lightweight/washable/durable - This is the 4th pair of exactly the same shoe I have purchased through Zappos - we actually still have all four. I just get new ones in case we lose a pair or they do actually wear out! They are very lightweight - they have an odor absorber - have never smelled & I have a 6-year old boy! I throw them in the wash - they air dry in an hour! Love them...

Awesome...So Cool - The title is a direct quote of what my son said when he received his shoe. This is the second pair of Tsukihoshi shoes we have purchased. They are very light weight and durable. His first pair is still in working order (though very loved). Though this is a lesser known brand I would recommend them over Nike any day. My son has a wide foot and they fit excellent.

As long as you order 1 size smaller, these are awesome! After wearing his previous pair for the entire school year, I just ordered another pair for my son. These are very comfortable and super lightweight shoes. They also fit a little bit wider foot well, provide great support, and are super easy on and off. The top velcro strap secures the shoe well and is placed very well on the shoe. You MUST order 1 full size smaller for them to fit. My son is a 2.5 and I ordered the 1.5 and it fits perfectly. Last year we experimented with the sizes when we first ordered these until we figured this out - with Zappos, you can afford to do this. Great looking athletic and lightweight shoe good for indoor and outdoor activities!

Finally a shoe that fits my 7 year old who wears a wide width. Thank you for the review about being a full size bigger. It's absolutely true. This shoe has held up very well, it is very light, dries quickly, and has endured the washing machine very well also.

Awesome Shoe! My son runs and runs with these shoes on. He is quite hard on footwear and these last longer than anything else he has worn. Also, machine washing is nice feature.

GREAT SHOES - These shoes are wonderful. They are very light, easy to put on and look great. My son loves them. They are a bit pricey, but worth it.

Loves them - This is our second pair of Tsukihoshi tennis shoes. My son loves them. They are lightweight and easy for him to put on as they have the velcro. I am sure we will get another pair when he outgrows the correct pair.

Tsukihoshi Kids Tora size 4.5 - Love the shoe, my son is so happy and loves these shoes. His feet smell, like a boy! These shoes don't smell. He loves the look and feel! Mostly the smell! The only problem, once he out grows these we can't replace them, they don't make larger sizes for people. They should make adult shoes!

My son loves these shoes. They are VERY light weight with a nice sole. He's in them all day and says they are very comfortable. I like them because they are washable. They seem to be holding up well too. We found ordering a size 'one smaller' fit him best.

Great Shoes! My son LOVES the shoes. Yes, we had to order a half size down. And, yes, they run a little wide (like mentioned), but not too wide. He loves them. They are lightweight and his favorite shoes he has ever owned. We will order them again.

Son loves these-so do I - These are my son's first character/light free shoe. I love them, they are so easy for him to get on in about 20 seconds. He loves them since they are so LIGHT, and look so cool. They make him jump and run REALLY FAST! ;)

Great Shoes - I love these shoes because they have the look of a tied shoe but yet they are slip-ons with one strap of velcro. My son says they are very comfortable. We especially love them because they are the colors of my alma mater.

Great 'fast' show for wide feet! These are great shoes, and my son loves them. He has very wide feet, and finding shoes to fit him is always a challenge. He loved these shoes from the minute her put them on. They're very flexible, easy for him to get on and off, and according to him, 'very fast.' They are a half size larger than marked. I will def. be ordering more of this brand.

Great lightweight shoes -- distinctive looking! My son loves these shoes. This was his second pair. He outgrew the first. When we ordered the first pair, we followed instructions that the shoes run large and ordered smaller. He was wearing a 3 at the time, and the 2 was a perfect fit. This time we thought we would go up a size, to a 3 Tsukihoshi size. We were surprised that it was too small and ended up with a 4. Perhaps they now run true to size? He is a 4 in other shoes too.

Great buy - These are 2nd pairs that my son wears. He loves them so much. Very soft, comfortable and stylish. I like shopping with Zappos for my whole family, fast shipping and excellent service.

7 Year Old LOVED them - We have had such a problem finding "cool" looking shoes that fit my son's wide feet. These shoes are so light feeling and my son says very comfortable. They do run big. My son takes a size 5.5 in a New Balance sneaker and we ended up with a 3.5 in these. Would highly recommend.

Best Shoes - These shoes are great! They wash easy, lightweight and children love them. This is our third pair of these shoes. These shoes are also very durable. Finally a true wide shoe.

Great shoe - I just bought these, the service was great too, free overnight shipping....anyway, the shoes are great. My son loves them and has fine motor issues too. These are the perfect shoe for him, light, easy to put on, and COOL.

Like Cinderella slippers, for boys - Wider than necessary for my little guy, but once he put them on his feet, there was no taking them off. He gets compliments everywhere we go - and he swears they make him run "fast, fast, fast." Really well made and worth the price.

Pricey - but as always a stellar shoe for little guys! With so many shoes out there for preschool boys that are poorly made, this a great quality shoe. My son has very wide feet and I can always count on this brand. I stopped buying Stride Rite and starting buying these. They last and last and FIT! This shoe is REALLY racy looking, so it does not go with everything, but makes him very popular at school. While they are pricey, the other 3 pairs I have bought of this brand have lasted over a year. Plus, the fact you can wash them is unbeatable. That and being so lightweight. Now I just wish they made dress shoes and sandals for summer! I did NOT find this shoe to run a full size larger AND it is not as wide as some other models because it laces across the top of the foot.
