I like the shorts and my only issue is that have a full fit. Comfortable but a little too full. I like a slightly snugger fit better.

This is a great pair of shorts. The fit was great (they are a little baggy, but not too much), love the innovative button, and the pockets were deep and secured my stuff like a champ. Took these on a hike in Nicaragua (El Puma trail of the Mombacho volcano) and they performed beautifully. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a pair of comfortable, lightweight shorts that would dry quickly. These fit the bill. The adjustable waist works so the shorts don't sag after active wear. The shorts are baggy, and they break below the knee. I wear them for hiking and outdoor work on the weekend.

At first glance, I really liked these shorts. I wear a size 40 in Kuhl shorts, and bought the Z Cargo shorts in an XL. The XL is probably sized more appropriately for a 36 waist. Suffice it to say, they were so small in the waist, I couldn't even button them. I'll try another style in numbered size Thus, the lower ratings.

I really liked these shorts from a fit and look perspective. Unfortunately, within the first day I wore them, the little adjustable straps on BOTH sides of the waist ripped off. I plan to try one more pair before writing these off as poor quality. Everything else about them was great.

Great fit, length, lots of pockets but the adjusting straps on the sides of the shorts did not stay "locked" well and within 3 uses both the webbing straps tore off.

Very disappointed in these shorts. I've purchased same model in past years as well as other "Kuhl" clothes which have been great. Recent purchase of Z Cargo - Adjustable belt clasps won't stay closed and color bleeds with moisture. Sat on damp dinghy tubes and left dye stains. Kuhl needs to improve quality control.

Loved the look of these shorts, and I was drawn to the straps that let me adjust the waist. Unfortunately, the straps on *both* sides frayed and broke within 2-3 wearings. They clearly weren't designed for use. Totally disappointing as I generally like Kuhl clothes.

Had a previous pair of the same shorts and loved them. The new pair I ordered was of poorer quality, and the side tabs tore after the first wear. I'm returning and requesting a replacement hoping for better quality. For this price, these shorts should have better qa/qc, in addition to their great design and functionality.

Loved these shorts for about 0.9 wearings, and then both side straps ripped off as I was tightening them. (I really didn't pull that hard.) The shorts are too loose without functioning straps to adjust the waist, so I've had to return them. Bummed.
