Propét Bay Walker - I do love the Propét walkers. This one needs to be ordered a half size smaller, although the width is fine. I wear an 8 1/2 or 9 WW and ordered this in 8 1/2 WW but it was way too long. Reordered it in the 8 and it is just fine. Thank you Zappos for solving my footwear problems -- also my daughter's and as many friends as I can tell.

Nice and wide - A true wide width. The WW has a wide sole and foot bed. Most shoes, including the newer Propét styles, merely put extra leather over a narrow sole.

These sandals feel larger than the size ordered. I usually have a hard time find a size 7 1/2 E that actually fit, most of the time they're too small. This is the second pair that I've bought where the shoe is just a little too big (long). I will wear them because I like the support for my feet.

Great shoes. I have really big feet and I actually found some that fit.

Yeah! something for WIDE feet... I sound like a broken record but there are not enough shoes for women in 4 E's. That being said the Bay Walker is a very comfortable choice with average support and average footbed padding. I used them not for every day or very long walking situations but when I needed something a little nicer than my new gold standard for comfort: my Crocs. (I've decided to be nice to my feet from here on out and for the most part not really be concerned with fashion unless the situation calls for it)

Comfortable sandal - I have a hard time wearing sandals, since I normally use an orthotic. These have been great and I have worn them a ton already.

Great shoe - This is a wonderful shoe for me who has very wide (needed EE) foot with many problems such as very bad bunion and hammertoe. It took sending for many different pairs before I came across these that fit wide enough and felt comfortable most of the day. I will buy them in other colors. Thanks.

Propet Bay Walker - My feet are too wide for shoes at most stores, so I turned to Zappos.com. I selected this shoe in a 6.5 4E and amazingly, it fits! It is actually a bit too wide, which considering my previous shoe incidences pleases me. My only problem with this shoe was the removable insole, because it makes an otherwise nice shoe look cheap and poorly assembled. It is a well-made shoe but it looks like the insole is tearing out.

Darn comfortable sandal! After hours of searching for the right brown leather sandal, I've settled on this one. It's not perfect, but it's really pretty good. It's a good height--a little bit off the ground, but not enough heel to throw me off balance. It's a little bit wide--I got a regular width and I have a fattish foot, and the left foot feels a little too wide. Also, the leather on top is a little plasticy looking. And as others have noted, the light-colored insole looks kind of orthopedic (and will probably show dirt quickly). Despite those issues, I am keeping the sandal because it is extremely comfortable--nice and cushy. The sole has good traction and is flexible. The strap doesn't rub anywhere. The shoe stays on my foot nicely--no flip-flop noises. It's not a beautiful design, but it is nice-enough looking, and flattering on my foot. It is also a good level of dressiness--versatile enough to go with casual shorts and nicer linen pants. The shoe seems well-constructed, and is a good price (significantly cheaper than similar shoes by Clarks or Dansko). So maybe I should get it in black too.

Great everyday shoe - I purchased this sandal in black and just love it. I have a very wide foot and the width was snug for me so I pulled out the footbed liner (which the website said you could) and wear them that way. They look great with all of my casual outfits and they are really like wearing bedroom slippers! I find that when I get home, I want to walk around in them because they are more comfortable than bare feet.

Gotta get more... I love my new Propét Bay Walker's. I wish they had the black in my size at the time of purchase. Guess I'll have to wait til I pay the first bill before I can purchase more so my husband doesn't find out that I bought 8 pairs of new sandals from Zappos. I am addicted!!!!!!

First time buyer - This is my first time trying the Bay Walker. At first the leather is quite stiff, but after wearing a few times, it softens up. I wish I had bought a wider width so that I could insert my orthotics. All in all, a comfortable sandal.

Top is nice, soft leather, but the footbed was too flat for me (lack of arch support and contouring, and the sole is heavy and stiff). This makes them difficult to walk in because the back flaps up and down instead of traveling with the foot.

Look closely - Great fit even for my very square wide feet. Take a close look at the insole before you make a decision. It looks like a hospital gown, cream background with blue crosses. Not a very pretty look for a black shoe. These will be going back; I can't look down at these all day.

These are not a good value. I was very happy with these shoes for the first 3 months, then they completely lost their shape. I only wore them around the house and occasion trips to the grocery store. I didn't abuse them, and I was hoping they would last much longer than then did. Buy Born or Clarks. They'll last longer.

Quality of the shoe - One of the shoes was tighter than the other and on one the sole insert is coming out. My right foot is always tighter because it is bigger than the left but in this case the left shoe is a lot tighter and rubs the top of my foot. Was not very pleased at all.
