Great shoe if you have bunions! FABULOUS SHOE IF YOU HAVE BUNIONS! My mother has a new lease on life because of the comfortable wide shoes made available to her by Zappos. After suffering with bunions for decades, she has finally found some attractive shoes that fit her. She usually wears a 6 and a half 4E (that's EEEE or WWWW) in Mt. Emey or New Balance athletic shoes. But when she ordered the Bay Walker in a six and a half 4E she found that the shoe was not only too long, but too wide as well. She exchanged them for a 6 and a half double wide (WW or EE), and is extremely happy with them. Just to give you an idea of how wide her feet are, they are about 4 and a half inches across from the edge of her bunion to the edge of the bone just below the pinky toe. I am trying to convince her to get the other colors this shoe comes in, but she is more frugal and less impulsive than I. The Bay Walker's width also seems to balance out her feet which are wide in the front and narrow at the back. Not only is she able to get her feet into these (which can be a challenge with other shoes), but they seem to stabilize her as she walks. Wish I could work for Zappos or Propet - both companies bring joy to people.

This shoe is great. The only thing is they run a little long. I usually wear a nine and I had to order an 8, but they are very comfortable and nice looking. I ordered them in white also and I would definitely recommend them for people with wide feet.

This shoe is very comfortable, I can walk all day in it. Very stylish with any wardrobe.

Comfy - This shoe is very comfortable. I might buy it in another color. It's easy to wear all day and I found the width to be generous.

Wonderful shoes! I adore these shoes....I have very wide feet w/a high instep and these babies fit like a glove. SOOO comfortable I can wear them all day. I never want to take them off. I tried to order more but Zappos (and other sites that sell Propét) are sold out of my size.

I have arthritis in both my feet and most shoes do not have enough padding or support. These have worked out well for me. I wear them all day long at home and if I have to run to town I don't bother to change because they look great. I recommend them to any one who needs support and comfort with good looks.

A great shoe… Wore these all weekend when I first got them with no break-in period and no discomfort. I believe that someone else commented that they were a “wide-looking” shoe. This is probably correct, but if you have extremely wide feet, they are actually more slimming than having them obviously stuffed into too narrow shoes. I got them in brown and wear them with jeans, slacks, and skirts. The footbed is not terribly soft. More of a Birkenstock feeling, but I find them perfectly comfortable and they clean up really well (I accidentally stepped into a muddy ditch with one, rinsed it off, and it looks like new). I ordered them in 4E and it was a wonderful, novel sensation to slip my wide foot into something and actually feel like it had room to wiggle.

Great Shoes - These shoes are very comfortable. I have a wide width foot and for me to find shoes that fit well is very hard. I am very impressed with the fit and style of these shoes. I am so satisfied with this purchase. I will buy more of this brand.

Too big! I have a small foot, with high arches - these just feel floppy on and I think I will walk out of them - I find them wide - too bad.

Very good looking sandal - This sandal is true in its width. I have a fat foot and this is perfect. It is very dressy. I love Propét show styles

When I put these sandals on all I could say is aaaahhhhhhh! I wore them in my home all day and they felt great.

Propét shoes – I have a really hard time finding shoes to fit. I work on my feet for 9 hours doing activities with seniors. My feet were becoming such a problem that I thought I was going to have to quit a job I truly love doing. Then one of my seniors and a co-worker told me about Zappos... Wow... now I have 4 pairs of shoes that fit! Took a little shopping and returning but I hit the jackpot with Zappos for sure... love these guys.

Comfortable and Cute!!!! I wear these a lot and they are so comfortable. Pretty good arch support too. And they are cute!

Love this shoe - Very comfortable shoe. Love that the removable insole has velcro to hold it in place. Nice to find this type of shoe in a truly wide width.

Problem feet - I have a wide foot and plantar fasciitis or fallen arches and these are great for arch support and comfort. I also have a wide foot and these also work for that, in the D width. Sincerely, Sandra G North Liberty In

Very comfortable - I love this brand-this is my 3rd pair of shoes from them and they fit like a glove-easy to walk in, good support. I just got this pair today and they feel great.

Good for WW wearers - I really like the brown color of this shoe and that they fit my short WW feet! They were comfortable to wear walking all day the first time I put them on and I get compliments every time I wear them with jeans or shorts. I marked "true to" width and size, but unfortunately not all shoemakers follow the same guidelines so width/size are relevant to the maker.

Good looking walking shoe. Classic Propet. Good comfort for walking. Attractive casual shoe. Surprised at how easily the insole removes. At first I thought the shoe was damaged until I re-read the Zappos site and found it is designed to be removed.

Stitching and leather - I almost kept this shoe but returned it reluctantly because the leather and stitching on the front upper part irritated my tarsal area. It seemed of a sort that would not go away after "break in." I'm sorry because otherwise the shoe was comfortable and looked good.

Your service is great. I was hesitant to buy shoes long distance. This worked out very well and I am enjoying the shoes for what I bought them-- which was to be able to wear them in and out of the house. They are nicely styled also.

Annette in KY - I really love the look of this shoe. But why in heavens name did Propét make the insole WHITE!! A black insole would have made the shoe much more stunning. I have an extremely wide foot and even this 4E is not wide enough at the opening.
