Let me start with I’m fortunate not to have any foot issues. I purchased the Blues specifically for performance purposes for both my inline skates and ski boots. After researching new ski boots last fall thru the winter every thing I read talked about footbeds. I wasn’t about to go out and buy $180+ custom footbeds but was willing to give the $50 range a try. A local ski shop sells Superfeet and fitted me for the Blues based on my arches. They also fit me for a size D and E advising either would work. Based on where the arch fell a little further back with the D’s they recommended I go with those. The D’s also felt better to me so I decided on that size. I usually where a size 10 shoe. I also emailed Superfeet advising what I was looking for and they also suggested the Run Comfort Thins which have a similar arch to the Blue. I decided I wanted to start with the Blues where they’re a mid thickness and I was looking to fill a little space in my skates as my feet were starting to shift slightly after a year of skating and the liners breaking in. When I got the $25 Zappos Rewards it was a no brainer that it was time to pull the trigger. I’ve had them for a couple weeks now in my skates. I usually skate for an hour or less each day, so it’s been a nice break-in period for my feet to get used to the extra arch support. I have to say I love them! The mid thickness has filled the extra space and my heel is locked into place. I have no movement and find my skates are more responsive and quicker to respond. I also like the additional shock absorption when jumping. I wear a size 43 Seba skate and didn’t have to cut the insole. Heel and arch lined up perfectly and the forefoot was slightly smaller than stock insole. Excited to try them in my ski boots come winter. Only concern is my new boots are a 99 last, size 26.5 and are already pretty snug. Blue may be too thick. If that’s the case I’ll try the recommended Run Comfort Thin or Blacks which have a thin profile. Would definitely recommend (and already have) as a fairly inexpensive solution to increase performance and get more out of your gear!

I found these arch support insoles after a friend told me she loved them. She bought them in a quality shoe store, but of course I turned to Zappos and they had them for the same price and 1 day shipping. They are thin which is great for my sneakers and the arch support is better than I expected.

I have two different brands of arch support insoles, and these have the better support out of the two brands. There is one slight thing, that I would change about them, if I could. This being that I would move the arch support just a tad bit forward. For my foot anyways, the arch support starts a little back from where I think it should start, but it is not enough to be bothersome, or for me to send the insoles back.

I have wide flattish feet, size 9.5–10 D. I was having knee pain and I got custom orthotics but these ended up working better to stabilize my feet and stance. They fit very easily into my shoes. Zappos won't let me post this review until I rate them for style. How silly.
