I bought these boots two and a half years ago. For the first year, they held up great. I work in an heavy duty metal shop and nothing I wear last forever. Shirts, pants, gloves, e.t.c. Neither do these boots. One of the soles started peeling off, but I had some rubber glue handy. The grommets for the eyelets had detached and I'd find them hanging loosely on the laces everytime I tie 'em up. However, their average lifespan is roughly less than 3 years, so there's that, and it is Black Friday weekend and I'm taking advantage of the deals of other boots.
By the way, for better arch supports, I added the liners to the bottom, because I can and my feet appreciate it.

These boots were just OK. The plastic lace eyelets started to break loose within 2 weeks. The sole cracked at the ball of my foot after 1 year. They were comfortable, but just seemed to fall apart fast.

My favorite and most comfortable boot for 16 hour days.
Unfortunately the boot can't stand up to the harsh environment of a steel mill at all

I have owned 6 pairs of these boots. They are very comfortable and light weight. The leather stays in good shape and is easy to clean and polish. The problem I have had with these is all 6 pairs have had the soles tear in the same place after approximately 10 months.

Fit is good, but width runs smaller than stated. They are very light, yes, but this is because the material is very cheap. Normally this would relegate them to good walking boots, except they also happen to constantly dig into the backs of your heels.
Good boot for an office worker who goes on to the shop floor once or twice a day for a few minutes. Not good for much else.
Pros: stylish, lightweight, isn't full of holes like my old boots, free.
Cons: useless, especially as a "Pro Line." flagship item.

They are used as daily wear workboots, I've been a timberland workboot buyer for over 30 years for construction use. These boots are great for comfort and mobility, good traction in all conditions.
I'm disappointed in that timberland boots usually last 4-5 years for work and these are no good in less then 2 years. The sole cracked right at the midsole. Uppers are still in great shape. Foreign outsource manufacturing?
I'd can't buy them again, I need boats that last longer then this. please look at how you're building them!

I work outside with utilities for about 11years now. I usually get less expensive boots, but my wife wanted to spend a little more on me so she bought me these for my birthday! I will never get them again, after 4 months the stitching was coming apart after 8 the soles are completely coming off! Atleast my cheaper boots stayed together!! Completely unhappy and will never buy timberland boots again.

I like the fit of these boots and that I can wear them through the airport TSA pre-check metal detector (my previous safety-toe boots would set off the metal detector and I would have to take them off. However, the plastic eyelets fail within weeks (yes weeks). The first time I thought it was a fluke and sent it back to Timberland for a warranty replacement. Then it happened again. This third pair lasted exactly 10 days before an eyelet failed. I'm done. Even though Timberland warranties them and sends brand new replacements, it costs me $25 to ship them back, and it takes 4+ weeks to get the replacement. Not worth it. Trying something else. Check out reviews other places... this is a very common problem with these boots.

Comfortable out of the box, but the leather stretched out so much after just one week of use that I ended up calling Timberland and returning them under their 30-day comfort guarantee.

I'm a mechanic so I get diesel, fuel, coolant and oil on these boots and they have yet to fail me. Every pair that I have purchased have been comfortable from day one. As long as I'm a mechanic I would never buy another pair. Great product.

I bought these boots 3 years ago for my first EMS job. After all this time and all the changes in weather, NEVER have my feet stunk or felt uncomfortable. You'll definitely get your use out of these!

I have been wearing Timberland Pro Titan 6 inch safety toed work boots for the last 13 years. I bought the first pair because a store guaranteed the boot to be the most comfortable I ever wore or they would give my money back. I never returned those boots. In fact I just recently bought another pair. My last pair lasted 3 1/2 years even though I was walking over 20,000 steps a day in them. Every pair of Timberland boots I have ever bought I could wear for extended hours at work coming straight out of the box. When it comes to work boots I won't buy anything else. My only complaint with Timberland boots are the insoles. I think they offer little comfort. I always replace them with Form molded max comfort insoles. It's a magical combination that cannot be beat.

I love these boots. I hike about 8 -10 hours a week on rocky trails in New England. Many hikers might prefer something more lightweight, but these are perfect for me. Lots of support and ulta comfortable.
